I have been coming to Valley Nails for almost 4 years since they opened. I moved here from Oakley back in 2021 and tried all nail shops in the area. Once they opened, i tried them out and never switched since. Tina has been doing my full sets the whole time! Definitely recommend, but make sure to make an appointment because they do get busy. Finally, I took my bf to get a pedicure with me! We made an appointment for when they opened but showed up about 20 min earlier. They still were welcoming and were able to start early. The ladies were all very nice. The chairs were comfortable and the massage was good. The place is open and clean. I only wish that the person doing my pedicure scrubbed the bottom of my feet more and painted the top of my toenail. But instead, you can clearly see the top of my nail. I have NEVER had a nail break and I'm rougher than most with my hands. I've NEVER waited more than 5 min- appointment or not. When I have an inspo pic, they do exactly as asked if not better! I usually go to Lee for my nails but almost everyone is great at pedicures! They take their time (rare these days) and have an amazing collection of colors/polish types. Mixed feelings. First time. I had two ladies one for mani and other for pedi. Pedicure was great and satisfied with the painting. My manicure she didn't speak to me at all- I was not asked what shape I would like as she filed away and went for an almond shape. I had to kindly ask her to fix the filing not as sharp after the fact. I also had to ask her to fix polish on another. I had a chip on 2 of my nails the next day for a gel manicure. I went here 4 times because it's close to my house and every time I came, I had a different nail technician because they all left except one, the main lady who sits in front, who is extremely rude and talks down to her customers. I went there the other day and was told to sit at a new technicians station who could barely speak English. A simple full-set turned into 2 1/2 hours appointment. The rude lady came over to criticize me for asking the technician to add another coat on my nails and to wipe extra nail polish she spilled of my hand. I left disappointed and frustrated. I've been back to Valley Nails a few times since my initial visit and the last 2 times have not been ideal. With the latest visit It took almost 3 hours for me to leave the shop just for a mani/pedi with gel polish. This is after I made an appointment! Another practice that I didn't like is that the last 2 times that I've come I've made appointments to have the service done with my daughters but then we had to seat separately when the time came. Part of the fun/pleasure for a customer is to be able to seat and chat with the people they come in with, especially if they made the appointment for that. Otherwise why bother making the appointment for multiple people at the same time. Especially during this last visit they were definitely overbooked and overwhelmed even though they had a full staff. It was not a pleasant experience! I felt the job they did on my pedicure was ok but I didn't get the attention to details like in the past. The person that did my pedicure didn't apply lotion and massage my legs till after the polish had been put on and at that haphazardly. My manicurist never even applied lotion to my hands let alone the massage. It was literally the fastest manicure (if you called it that) I've ever had. My daughter said she will not come back till they improve. I will give them one more try. I really like the people that works there so I hope that they do improve and become one of my favorite nail shop. Fingers crossed!! read more

Will not be coming back! I recently tried out this salon on 1/3/24. When I sat down the tech I had didn't say a word to me, which is whatever but still. She didn't tell me her name but her box of supplies said Hoa. She also kept going on her phone throughout this entire process. To remove my polish she used the sharpest dremel ever and I informed her that these are my real nails. Later she plopped the dip colors down in front of me. When I asked if they had colors with glitter she got more but threw them onto the table. I really should have left here. I don't even know why I stayed and let the nail tech work on my nails further. She did not shape my nails at all. I've been growing out my natural nails for months and they were shaped as medium coffin when I went in. She did file down only the nail bed part of my nails though which I'm not happy about. When she did this she completely took away the shape I had and caused my nails to look straight. I was not asked what shape I wanted. The paint job isn't even, especially on the edges. They have been snagging on things since I got the nails done and are starting to break. I was quoted $45 over the phone but was charged $56. Overall, very unhappy with my visit. Extremely unhappy that my nails are breaking and the shape I had is gone. read more

Came here in the morning for my mom's bday pedi and they were on it. Very luxurious service. My deluxe pedi (which is the mid grade one at $45) with gel polish add on cost $60. Kind of steep but worth the service. Jennifer did my mom's pedi and we were just chatting it up with her she is hella cool! Don't waste your money. I returned to this shop after a two years absence. The technician did a piss-poor job on my dip. The color started peeling after 4 days later. Ridiculous. She did a raggedy job shaping my nails. The nail shape and length was inconsistent across all fingers. The shape should have been round, but she did a rounded square and argued with me that it was round. I usually wear my dip for 4 to 5 weeks with no chipping, peeling, or snagging. The only reason I make new appointments is because my nails grow out so much at 4/5 weeks that I get irritated when I'm typing. I wasted a good amount of my hard-earned money ($50) at Valley Nails. I simply cannot waste my money on this shop again in hopes that their skills have improved. Try Belle Spa in Concord. It's not convenient, but the prices are the same and most of the technicians do an excellent job. read more

I called last Saturday for a gel pedicure and short acrylic set. I had no issues with my pedicure, but if you are thinking of getting acrylics I'd recommend not going here. My set felt extremely rushed because my cuticles weren't even cut or prepped whatsoever. I am not a nail tech, but even I know cuticle care is essential. Now my nails are already peeling at the base and they look crusty. Waste of my time and my money. Mind you, I added the rhinestones at home. Imagine what my nails would look like without them. The pic I showed vs what I got..I know it would never look exact, but I wanted the French tip a lot thinner. Both gel manicure and pedicure look awful. She didn't clean up her work, when gel polish dried on my skin she used her figure nails to try to pull it off. When I asked to use something else she got nail clippers and I had to stop her. My finger still hurts and I will never return...there are too many choices to have this poor skill and service. I scheduled an appointment with a particular nail technician but she wasn't available to do my pedicure so another young lady did them. My pedicure was relaxing. The chair massage is a must. Pay with cash if you can. They do charge a card fee. They also have a reward card. $5 off on the 5th visit and $12 off of the 10th visit. read more
