Michael, who did my pedicure, was one of the most gentle and kind nail technicians I've ever had. The man who did my pedicure was polite, but the massage was the issue. He kept rubbing my shins even after I told him multiple times please no shins, only feet because my shins are sensitive. He just smiled and kept doing it, and when he finally stopped there was only like 2 minutes left of the massage. Then for my nails, I originally asked for a dip set with extensions. The extensions would not stick at all. The lady tried for over 20 minutes and they kept popping off. I told her to just do gel instead, and that's when the owner came and said they would "try a different glue." At this point I just wanted to keep it simple. She also kept trying to upsell everything, even something as small as cleaning cuticles for $8 more. I said no, but she kept insisting because she didn't understand. It was really hard to communicate because no one seemed to speak English well enough to understand what I was asking. I asked for almond shape and ended up with oval. Also she was very rude towards the end would grab my hands aggressively It sucks because the place looks really pretty but the communication was just not there, and I didn't get what I wanted. The technician was very rough while working on my toenails and cut deeply into the sides of my nails without asking. Nail salons are not podiatrists, and cutting into the sides of toenails can be risky if not done properly. I was burned a couple of times during the process and felt pain throughout the service. Now that I'm home and trying to sleep, my toes are extremely sore and painful. This shouldn't happen after a pedicure. I was also concerned that I did not see brand new or properly sanitized tools being used, which is very important for hygiene and safety. I hope the salon improves their sanitation practices and is more gentle and careful with clients in the future. Also they need to mop those floors I still left a tip because the nails came out okay looking . But i am in pain
