Instead of soap operas or the news, the tv was tuned to a peaceful channel of a woman in China, gathering vegetables, cooking, and feeding her family. The French gel manicure and regular pedicure I received was long lasting and beautiful. My cuticles were not sore afterwards, rather, the oil treatment left my skin soft and smooth. Someone is usually in the front to greet you. Occasionally they are super busy and may be helping someone with their eyebrows, etc but someone comes up to help you pretty quickly. You check in on the tablet in front. Unless my nail tech is super swamped and finishing up with his client, I am seated right away, otherwise I sit on one of the comfy seats and look up how I want my nails done while I wait. Otherwise, I sit right at his area and soak my nails. They provide most services all salons do. I can't speak for getting acrylic or any other types of nails as I always grow my real nails out and do dip manicure. It keeps my nails strong for a while and I get them done once every 3-4 weeks. I go to Tommy, sometimes Van. They're great. Never an issue. Sometimes if a nail breaks, they'll see me last minute and fix my nail, no charge! Cash preferred. There's an ATM in the back near the restrooms. They have a rewards program for people who pay cash ($25 off after you earn 500 points, I think it is. Double check when you go) Love coming here. Great therapy/laugh session and the service doesn't disappoint. Even gave me a little goodie bag for my birthday! Didn't get many photos of the salon itself, but I attached some of the photos of my nails that I've gotten done over the years. Again, these are my real nails so sorry, I haven't been able to showcase many different styles/designs.

As soon as my sister sat down, the nail technician turned on the water for me and it was extremely hot. The staff member assisting her didn't seem to have good customer service and barely spoke to my sister--she just jingled the nail color samples in front of her without saying anything. When my technician, Lisa, came over, I immediately told her I wanted a classic pedicure, and she responded "okay, classic." During the service, the leg massage was very rough and uncomfortable rather than relaxing. After we were finished, I noticed I had been charged for a deluxe pedicure, even though I clearly asked for a classic. When we brought it up, several workers began arguing with us and made it seem like it was our fault. After going back and forth, the gentleman at the front desk eventually refunded the difference. However, the situation didn't end there. After we left and were already at Chipotle, the same gentleman followed us outside and told me he forgot to charge me for the gel color and asked if I could Zelle him $15. I came twice to get my acrylics done and while I liked the way the end product looked, the lack of care for the nails and random upcharging ultimately made me stop coming. This last time I came, I had one of the ladies take my old set off since the nail tech laid acrylic over two lifting nails on my first visit and they ended up creating a worse problem. Great, I needed a refresh anyway. She proceeds to put SUPER tiny tips on my nails, which makes them look thin on the sides like I like but it created terrible ingrown nails because it squeezed the sides of the nails. Ultimately I picked a solid red color and she charged me $25 more than the listed price. No reason for it since it's a simple acrylic set with one color. This happened last time and I assumed it was the glitter color was more but it seems she decides on the fly what to charge. Now, three months later, my nails are so thin and have 5 huge pieces of acrylic still stuck to them. I've since moved away and found a new nail tech who refuses to pull them off entirely because they are causing tearing and bleeding on my natural nail. I have religiously done my nails my whole life so three months of this is upsetting and ridiculous. Lastly, they were playing a movie with full blown sex scenes in the salon one of the times when I went and it was so uncomfortable. She apologized after a few minutes of it but continued being standoffish and awkward to me, which was another part of the bad experience. I came back one last time to give them a chance since I liked the end result and color selection, but I made a huge mistake returning.
