I am not big on getting my nails done. But when girls day has arrived what else do you do? I had Kelly and she was great. I've gotten about three gels over the years and this one didn't burn (if you know, you know), they're straight, no lumps and so pretty! She was patient as I took 6 years to pick a color and then was more than willing to do my kinda extra colors. We wanted to get a pic of our nails so Kelly threw down the white backdrop and took our pics. Point being - I've never wanted to actually go back to get my nails done before but I just might. First time in this location! My MIL and I have gone to a few salons and are potentially moving into the area so we wanted to try out a new salon in the area. Found this Salon and they took us same day I called. It was great! They have Gel-X and it's my first time trying it but love them, they even have a lot of cat-eye collections which my MIL love. I came here since my original salon was busy and almost everywhere was about to close. The ambiance is nice, overall clean. I was very disappointed with the longevity of my nails. I got a brand new set, cat eye and French tip. Not even a week later one already completely fell off, and that quickly turned into 2 other nails coming off. I had the powder of the acrylic on my skin, and I just got them redone today at my original place. When taking off the ones I got done here, they were yellow from moisture getting trapped underneath. I'm not one to usually write reviews, but I've tried to reach out and I didn't get any help or response back. On the bright side, I did like my cat eye and the French tip that was done. read more

I came here after wanting to try it. I got builder gel for the first time. Kelly was my artist, she is so sweet and so kind. Only thing is since it was my first time trying builder gel I didn't really know how it worked. I I was hand a limited variety of colors.. but I wasn't explained that there's a way to just use clear builder gel and any color can be used. But now I know! The only reason I'm giving this a 2 star rating is because of the quality of service and the salon was clean or I would select a 1 star. I went to this nail salon to get a gel manicure and regular pedicure for Christmas. I was greeted and they sat me down. The woman that was working on my manicure, stop midway to assist another customer. I had to wait until someone else was available to continue with my manicure. When the next woman continued my nails, she did not do a good job at all. She did not apply the gel polish correctly. When I got home, my nails started to develop small bumps which started to clip off. The only reason I was not able to go back to get this corrected is because I had to travel the next day. I shouldn't pay all this money for half done process. I will not return to this location again. read more

I've been a loyal customer here for years, regularly spending over $150 per visit and always tipping generously. However, my most recent experience was beyond disappointing. During my last visit, I wasn't happy with the length and quality of my nails. I kindly spoke up, and while they attempted to fix it, I still wasn't satisfied. In the end, I left after spending over $160, feeling frustrated and disheartened. When I got home, I was so unhappy that my husband went back to speak with them. They were very polite to him and assured me that if I returned that same day, they would make it right. I went back, they redid my nails, and I even tipped again. This time, I was much happier with the results. Fast forward to my next visit--before I even sat down, they looked me up and down, started speaking about me in another language, and then coldly told me, "Since we had a problem last time, can you find somewhere else to go?" They refused my business outright. It was humiliating and incredibly rude. I am shocked that they would treat a longtime customer this way just for providing constructive feedback. If a business can't handle a minor complaint and make things right without holding a grudge, that's a major red flag. Their behavior was unprofessional, unwelcoming, and completely unacceptable. I went to this salon on Wednesday. It was really nice they could take same day. Once I got there and started my pedicure and manicure at the same time, I knew it was not going to be the service I was used to. The manicurist applied the incorrect color at first and I advised its the other color. She seemed like she was rushing possibly having another appointment, and this is exactly what happened another customer came in and she finished mine and went to her. The next day my gel color started chipping and pealing off. I had gotten my nails done on Sunday the 17th, I'm a returning customer and I wasn't able to get them done with the person I usually do them with. The lady that did the nails for me failed to do cat eye and just I hated the color all together. At the moment I had left because I felt bad having the lady take the nail polish off and restart because she was struggling to even do the cat eye in the first place, she did a good three coats of the nail polish on me. So I left, I'm busy and I work a lot so I finally had the chance to call the place yesterday and they told me today that I could come in and they could take a look also because my nail had broke already and usually my nails last almost a month. I actually spoke with a guy named Kevin and he couldn't even speak to me, he had another lady talk to me and all she could do for me is just not charge me for the broken nail and also she gave me extreme attitude and sass. She was unhelpful and didn't listen to my needs or even seemed as she even wanted to help me. I was just so upset because I always come here, I've been coming there since I was a little kid with my mom and never had a bad experience up until now. I just feel overwhelmed and disappointed. I've been coming here for a long time and get the same pedi treatment. Yesterday it wasn't the same. It was very quick and didn't do all what they normally do and I could see if it was busting busy but not! In fact some of the ladies were waiting for customers to come in. Sorry, I live in Castro Valley and always had better service and worth the drive, but not now. I can get the same job done for $30 than the $60 I paid yesterday. read more
