I usually don't write reviews but am feeling compelled to. I want to love this salon soooo much... key words. But I'm pretty frustrated because my nails keep popping right off. Here's my honest experience and review. Note: I have been getting gelx for 3 years now. I have had nearly every design. I usually don't need to get a fill for 3 weeks and have had them last up to 5 weeks with no problems. I went on 7/3 for a fresh set of gelx and I wanted pink/white ombré. I was very happy because I called and they were able to take me right away. The salon is clean and pretty. You feel relaxed. It's also big and they have a lot of nail techs. Pricing is posted above the register (transparency) and they also have a reward program. Everything was going fine with my gelx and then I looked down and the ombré looked horrible. Like it wasn't ombré it was French tip with a blurred line. There wasn't a smooth transition. My ombré girlies know what I'm taking about. I usually don't complain but have learned that when I'm spending my money, I should get what I paid for. I spoke up and Jocelyn fixed them PERFECTLY! She was so great. I was very happy with my results. I'd definitely regularly book appointments with her if I go back. Fast forward to 7/9 and I look at my hand and a nail was missing. I mean I didn't even notice it popped off (which means it wasn't attached well to begin with). I needed a pedicure too but didn't have time to go until the weekend, so I planned to go in on Saturday morning (7/12) for the fix. On 7/11 As I was putting on the strap of my sandal POP! Another nail just popped off - with no pain. I go in on 7/12 I explain to them what happened -- that I needed two repairs and that I wanted a pedicure too. They said they'd fix it but didn't offer to do it free of charge (it had only been 6 days for one nail and week for the other). They did my pedicure and fix. I was happy with the results. Also, the pedicure I got was probably one of the best I've gotten ever! They gave a message, had hot stones, my feet and legs were so smooth! It was amazing and I will definitely be returning for a pedicure. I was headed to SF for a staycation later that day. As I'm getting ready to go to dinner I notice one of the nails (that was just fixed) was lifting! I was so upset and had no time to stop for glue. Of course while at dinner I was closing my purse and it popped off. I had to stick it in my purse and pay for DoorDash to deliver nail glue to my location. The next day another popped off (I used the nail glue). We went to Tiburon and another popped off during the day (at this point I'm just happy for the nail glue I had so I wasn't walking around looking crazy with half broken nails). Again, this place has such good ratings. I want to love it pedicure was amazing. Maybe it's just the gelx supplies they use? IDK - but I've got to be honest about my experience. I'd give a 2.5 if I could but had to give a 2 because It's been 2 weeks and at this point I have 3 nails standing, one of which I glued back on. I'm super frustrated I paid like 75$ for my nails and then paid for the repairs and they just kept popping off like 2002 press ons . read more

If you like inconsistent pricing this salon is for you. I used to have Tammy do my acrylic nails every 2 weeks and I'd always do my pedicure same day. I was always aware of this salon being more on the pricey side, but I never minded it since I always liked the ambience and service. I'm also the kind of girl that likes to treat herself, so I'm always prepared to pay for whatever I request. That being said, for my past 3 visits my experience went from ok, to bad to worse so ended in never coming back. 1) On April 17, I got my nails done by Tammy, they were supposed to have the design of the flowers covering the nail of the ring finger, but Tammy made the mistake of putting it in the middle finger. I'm not saying they are ugly, but I left unhappy since it's not what I wanted. I let her know once I noticed she made the mistake and I want to point out I was nice about it, and she never offered to correct the mistake, she just kept telling me "you don't have to make them the same", and with my ocd yes girl, they had to be the same! Regardless, I paid around $95 for them, didn't get a discount for the mistake and even left a tip. In addition, I also got a pedicure same day with an acrylic tip on my big toes, French tip and had to pay $8 extra for "sea salt scrub" (which is usually included in pedicures at other salons but not theirs). Ended up paying around $75 for it. Please keep in mind at every appointment I was giving them more than $120 per visit. 2) After the first incident, I thought I'd give it another try. Maybe it was just a bad day right? So I went to have ombré French nails and got a nail glued super crooked on my left hand. Tammy blamed my hand for being the problem, instead of simply removing it and fixing it. I decided this time to voice out my frustration and let her know I didn't like it and how unhappy I was. She then said it was getting late and told me to come back another day. I let her know with work I couldn't, so very forcefully she added more acrylic to the side of the nail and kind of straightened it with the acrylic and heavily filed the other side to make it seem straight. Once again, got charged around $75 for these, no apologies for the mistake or discount. I was very unhappy when looking at them for the following week. I also paid for another $60-70 pedicure, since gel and scrub is extra. Once again I paid, left my tip and left. 3) Final straw: I called to have my nails done again by Tammy, requested her on the phone and when I showed up Tammy told me she didn't have time for me so she had me see someone else. I got to see another lady, and she overfilled my nails to my cuticle, cut me and then glued one nail crooked. I let her know to fix it and she took it off and glued another one. I appreciated it that after that she did her best to glue them all straight. I also loved her French work, and just when I finally thought my anxiety could relax she put a lot of gel top coat on my nails to the point she was cleaning up the drip with her fingers and ended up burning my fingers with the gel top coat being cured in them. Tammy heard this, and being the owner I expected for her to at least apologize and once again no apology, trying to justify as always. In addition, Tammy told me earlier she couldn't take me because she didn't have time so I thought maybe she had to go, but I didn't appreciate her lying and staying there talking to her employees the whole time I was getting my nails done by the other employee. Finally, once the lady got done I went to pay and was told by Tammy that I needed to pay $77 for a basic medium French. I asked for an explanation of the price and let her know prices are always inconsistent and that I never have a different length. She said because the girl did acrylic powder on me to make it pink for the French nails. I let her know she never asked me about doing acrylic powder, and that I usually just have a pink gel polish with the white polish to make the French line. She also charged me $10 for the French, which overall I just think their add ins are completely overboard and overpriced for the kind of service they provide. Still, once again I paid the fee but this time left no tip and walked out very upset. Even if you have an appointment you always have to wait at least 15 minutes to be seen, and of course you will always hear about the add ons. Very sad to leave since I used to love the services. The service, the ambiance, prices and even the space completely changed in the past years . There is a huge addition to things in the salon where you can barely walk now. Also, be prepared for them to talk small about you in your face since they know you won't understand Vietnamese. Not professional at all. Lost my business. Blooming Nails do better. read more

I've been coming here for pedis the past few years and despite the inconsistent quality and rude personalities of some of their nail techs kept coming back to support the business. I just got a pedi and my nail artist kept trying to upsell me with different services after i had firmly reiterated that i just wanted a basic pedicure, as I always get every 2-3 weeks. She also went wayy too deep when cleaning my cuticles. I just held back the pain when she was doing it in the moment but it felt like she was performing a whole surgery on my feet... Now my feet are stinging and painful when I walk. I just felt that it was unnecessary to keep trimming my cuticles until my skin literally became raw and painful. Also, 3 weeks ago I went here and got a rude nail tech. She didn't even acknowledge me and just started doing my pedicure. I asked her to cut my nails short and she didn't make an effort to do so. She cut my nails way too square for my liking so I politely asked if she could round them out for me. She just looked at me, filed down one foot to make it rounder, and left my right foot alone... I was so confused but didn't want to say anything because I had come with my friend and didn't want to waste my energy. I dont know if I'll keep going back any longer. read more

I came in last Saturday the 1st the owners are really nice and welcoming I appreciate that because I did have an issue i spoke to her about, I got my daughter and my nails done. The presentation is really pretty, my daughter's nails are still on, but mines, 2 came off Friday and I was going to go in and get them fixed Saturday but by then more come off. They aren't press on but they did come off like them! Barely any glue and they were too narrow for my nails, (I did let the nail tech know but she disregarded my comment) when I got home I noticed the bottom of all my nails had an opening between my nails and the acrylic. If you see the picture they look to be 2 or 3 weeks old! The way they were done! Ok, I really don't like writing negative reviews but to be completely honest I came here because the reviews look great... and maybe I just had a bad experience but you tell me . I called a couple hours in advance on Thursday 7/25 around 11am, asked if they had anything available for a gel x at 1 they said yes of course see you at 1! I waited for 45minutes to get started on!!! The reason why I called to ask you guys had time at 1 is so that I don't walk in and wait to get sat... ok so frustrating .
