I went for the first time today and her place is so clean and very pretty. She did an amazing job with my eyebrows! She took her time and made sure my brows were perfect. What I didn't expect was a forehead/temple massage! Sooo relaxing. I highly recommend. read more

I'm new-ish to the area. After much research I found Lucy. I always prefer a more one-on-one setting vs going to the "commercial"-y places. If that makes sense. I paid my deposit via Zelle as her directions stated. She then accepted my appointment. The day before she texted me instructions. The day of I got there. Plenty of street parking. The shop is super cutesy. Clean and comfortable. She asked me what I wanted my brows to look like. Lucy and I pretty much chatted the entire time. My eyebrows came out looking bomb. And my skin was fine afterwards. No irritation, nothing. I've already scheduled my second appointment and I'm so excited that I found my waxer! read more

Lucy is an absolute magician!! I am usually scared to get my eyebrows done because it always comes out not exactly the way I hope for, but Lucy made me look sooooo snatched it's insane!! My brows look even fuller than when I came in, they're symmetrical, lifted, yet still natural. Everything I had hoped for and more! The service itself was peaceful and relaxing, the space bright and welcoming. Lucy is so talented and made me feel so pretty! Thank you Lucy!! Best brow experience of my life. read more

Lucy is the BEST in the bay!! Her shop is always hella clean and it smells amazing! I started going to her about 3 years ago and since day 1 she has always made me feel super comfortable while I'm getting waxed. She's fast and really good at what she does needless to say that my Brazilians do not hurt. She always responds to me in a timely manner when needing to book. I look always look forward to my monthly sessions with her! Highly recommend her for all your waxing needs! read more

It's been 8 years since my last review and I'd still give her 5 stars for every year to come Lucy is as amazing as ever! She's a kick ass mommy who runs her own small business and takes care of all her clients with the utmost attention to detail and cleanliness. She's a busy woman, and for good reason! It may be hard to book an appointment last minute but she's always clear about that and it's best to book in advance so you both can schedule accordingly. I love Lucy so much will never get a wax anywhere else. read more

I have been trying to contact this business for months. I believe Lucy went on maternity leave and the hours has been cut back. However, I have not received a call back/response since last year. Her business is close to where I live and, based on the the amazing comments, I would like to transfer my business here. Sadly, it is IMPOSSIBLE to get an appointment, let alone a response. On to find another establishment. read more

I have been a client of Lucy for over a year and couldn't be happier. She is one of the best waxers!! Thank you Lucy

I was referred to Lucy by a friend and knew when the time was right I'd let her work her magic on my vag lol I reached out to her last minute one Friday and she came in early to accommodate me. Her salon is in my 'hood so I was there in no time at all. Her space is so cute and clean with lots of feminine added touches. She made getting a Brazilian as comfortable as it can be by instantly sparking up convo to keep me distracted from being uber exposed and slightly in pain. I love the hard wax she uses compared to the soft I've had used on me at other waxing salons. It left for a very smooth finish think along the lines of a newborns skin. She accepts Venmo, Zelle, and cash which makes for a seamless and paperless checkout. I already booked my follow up appointment and I'll definitely refer her to others. read more

I love Lucy I used to go to a eyebrow threading place and hated how my brows looked so pointy in pictures. When I started coming to Lucy, she helped better my brows and actually made my brows look fuller. ( I'm not sure how she even did that, I swear she's magic‍) I now currently live in Monterey CA. Seeing Lucy work her magic on my brows makes the drive SOO worth it. If you are trying to find a brow person come to Lucy, your brows will look amazing read more

This review is looooooooooong over due! So, I had played with the idea of getting a Brazilian before, but never really had a strong desire to do it. But August 23rd, 2017, (my birthday) I had this sudden urge to do it! I looked on Yelp and found Lucy the day before. She answered my text very quickly which was great! I made a down payment to confirm. The next day... I tried to talk myself out of going because I was soooo nervous, but then I thought about that down payment I would've lost. Lol. Listen... I am soooo glad and grateful that I went through with it, because the results were beautiful! I've been going every month ever since! Lucy is sooooo cool, calming, down to earth, personable, accommodating, sweet, professional, and all the good things in between! She is also thorough. You will not regret your decision to go to Lucy. She is so good I'd be scared to try anyone else. Thank you so much Lucy for being who you are and being in this business, you are awesome! read more

I have been coming to Lucy for about a year now. Lucy offers various waxing services for both men & women. I get my Brazilian and eyebrows with her & I highly recommend her! My eyebrows mean so much to me as for many other ladies & she genuinely understands that. She zones in while she is doing your eyebrows and puts in so much effort into detail. She doesn't let you walk out unless they are perfect ! For my Brazilian wax she is very precise & she makes the experience a breeze with her breathing techniques. She also uses hard wax which is very gentle on your skin. Finally, she never makes you feel pressured ! So lucky to have Lucy near me. read more

Lucy does meticulous work and it was relief to find her after 6 months of trying various estheticians with average results. I'm so happy with the Brazilian I got-- it was completely thorough and left my skin feeling better than from any wax I've gotten anywhere else. It's safe to say I won't be going to anyone else for my waxing needs! What I appreciate about her over other Bay Area estheticians I've been to in the past: She responds quickly to texts and emails and is easy to book with. She's down-to-earth and is enthusiastic and energetic about her work and her clients. She uses hard wax, which is the only way to go for Brazilians, and takes her time to do a thorough job. She has lots of clients to see, but I didn't feel rushed at all. She works out of Beauty Bar on the Ave which is a super cute, lovely space in a good location with easy street parking. All the ladies who work here are friendly, professional and so welcoming. Bottom line: Lucy is amazing and does amazing work. I'm excited for my next visit! read more

Lucy is very good and nice , My eyebrows were always on point when she would do it , unfortunately I moved far away , but I miss her !!!

Very cute salon to get your brows done up! Just had my brows done with Lucy and I'm so happy! They look amazing! I have thin brows and am trying to grow them out but Lucy talked me through the brow reformation process and I'm looking forward to coming back to her! I also have to add I brought my little one in with me and was nervous as I didn't have any childcare this am! She was super understanding and patient doing my brows! I definitely feel that it's a great time for moms to have their me time so I'll for sure be coming back alone for me time next time! But thank u Lucy for being so patient and professional! See you soon read more

I've been coming to Lucy for over a year. She is the only person I trust with my eyebrows. I truly appreciate her work. I was so obsessed with making my eyebrows "even and perfect" that I ended up over-plucking them and making them look way too straight. I found Lucy on Instagram and decided to grow my brows for 6 months before coming to see her. Best thing I ever did!!! My eyebrows are not the easiest to work with. The hairs are thin and the tails are sparse, plus they don't have a natural archly shape. I usually have to use make up to elongate the tails and create an arch. Lucy shaped them the way I wanted them to look so now I don't spend so much time shaping them with make up! She takes her time with clients while being efficient. I never feel like she is rushing while working on my brows. Her salon is cute, clean and she plays good music! She is always booked! That is a testimony of her good work. Thank you Lucy! read more

Lucy is so amazing she is the best in the waxing game. I got my ever first brazilian with her and honestly she made the process so much easier. I was so tense and scared because i had no clue how it was gonna go but lucky she was able to calm me down by just talking to me. We were chatting away. We where talking through the whole thing which honestly it made it go pass by really fast. She was attentive and made sure she did a good job, she really took care of me. She gave me all the information and tip i needed for the healing process. She honestly knows was shes doing. I recommend her 100%. read more

Waxing By Lucy G - Waxing Near Me - Pinole, California

Lucy is a brow queen! First of all, let me start off by saying that I personally wax brows for a living. I do not do my own brows because it freaks me out and I would NEVER go to ANYONE ELSE EXCEPT LUCY. I feel like that really says it all but I'll go into detail anyway because she rules. When I first moved back to the bay, I scoured Instagram to find the absolute best brow artist around and Lucy's pictures honestly blew my mind with her precision, variety, and attention to detail. She's made my brows perfect from the very first appointment. She really listened to what matters to me in my brows and has so much experience and training. I'm never super red after and she knows how to wax brows so that it doesn't really hurt. I get compliments on my brows almost every day. I've been seeing Lucy for several months, I drive 30 minutes from Piedmont to see her, and she's so worth it! Parking is easy and her salon is so cute. She's also very nice, fun, and funny. I always look forward to my brow appointments. Love Lucy and highly highly highly recommend her to everyone. read more

Lucy is theee best when it comes to Brazilian waxes, she makes it painless and is the most thorough I have ever experienced! She uses two types of wax and tweezers to make sure no hair is left behind. I just moved here and it took me a while to research the best waxer (because I've had bad experiences in the past) and I am so glad I researched and found Lucy, she's the best! read more

I have been going to Lucy for close to 7 years now and hands down she is the BEST. So good that I followed her from El Cerrito, to Crocket, and now to her new location. I've recommended my family & friends who also love her and as a result will only see Lucy now bc she is just that good. Lucy's facility is clean, she works quickly and efficiently, she only uses high quality products. I'm telling you this woman is TALENTED. read more

Booked an appointment with Lucy G based on yelp reviews and the reviews were spot on. My eyebrows are difficult as I have scars and they're so different. Lucy did a fantastic job. Lucy is awesome!! It was my first time getting a Brazilian wax and I'm sure that's nerve wrecking to anyone lol. I felt so nervous because I didn't know what to expect. I went in thinking this is going to feel so awkward but I can assure you that wasn't the case at all! She is super friendly so she made me feel extremely comfortable. She was quick but it didn't feel as if she was rushing to get it over with. She made my first Brazilian wax experience the best so I will definitely recommend her to everyone I know and I'll be coming back! read more

She's the best in the bay. She's my favorite. Very professionally and she leaves you with very nice shaped brows.

Lucy is incredibly efficient, fast and excellent. I found her years ago when she was working at European Wax Spa in El Cerrito Plaza. She was hands down the best waxer they had. I was disheartened when she left. I learned where she was working but it was too far to go. But now that she has her own spacious studio in Pinole, I go despite the drive from Oakland. She's the absolute best at what she does and have since not found anyone as good as she is. Lucy rocks! read more

I scheduled my appointment with Lucy after looking at photos posted here and she did not disappoint! I have thick eyebrows and I love them. Other places I have gone to continually change the shape or make them super thin. Not a good look. I explained this to Lucy and she was the only one that listened:). Payment is cash only and there is plenty of street parking available. I will definitely make an appointment again! read more
