I've visited this place a few times, today i went in to get my graduation nails done. i showed the man my inspo photo and without consultation he got started. (Without cleaning up my nail bed) i'm not sure if he was in a rush but it looked so. After i had told him the length was too long he started fileing aggressively to a point where i started bleeding. He then saw nd quickly put nail glue on my fracture. I asked if someone else could finish my nails nd they said they were to busy therefore i left having my nails undone because of how bad my nail hurt. I also got a pedicure and I must say Kimmy (lol I booked her bc she had a similar name) was amazing! I almost fell asleep while receiving the massage and she was so so cute! I WAS a customer at Valley Nail & Spa for 14 years. I was treated unprofessional on my last visit, by the owner, Tracy. It wasn't a matter of a $10.00 discount, that you did not want to honor. It was the way you kept saying (in a loud voice) that you cannot give the discount because you are "running a small business". Lastly I asked Tracy to please give my tip money to Vi who did my nails. I'm just writing to you guys to let you know that I walked in last week for a pedicure. I spent 75$ plus a tip. I just am writing to tell you that it was absolutely the worst pedicure of my life. The water was cold. I asked for it to be warmer. The man made it room temp. He did not exfoliate me feel correctly. There was no massage, which is what I paid extra for. The towels placed on my legs that were hot, when he removed them, he wiped my legs with them and they were soaking wet and it felt disgusting. Then he covered my legs and feet with lotion, didn't rub it in and put my shoes on and said I was done. I really should have said something when I was there but I didn't and I regret spending almost 100$ on such crap-treatment. Absolutely ridiculous I loved my nails when I came the first time so I decided to come back. When I asked them to please soak my nails off, they completely ignored my request and ripped them off. Damaged my natural nails. He did no prep He didn't cut the tips when he was laying the acrylic when I asked him to he said he does it after. never had anyone do that before and it hurt when he was cutting them down with the acrylic being on them. It was also laid so thick that it was overflowing the sides of my nail. When I asked him to fix it he said he does it after. When the acrylic was hard he then cut the tips didn't ask me the shape and he chose coffin for me. He also cut me very deep with the drill and the file. I had finally had enough they looked horrendous and I was hurting by how rough and inexperienced he was. Finally I asked for another person to do them. The owner ended up doing my nails. The whole experience was uncomfortable and just plain unprofessional.The owner was rude and I could tell was annoyed. Not my fault your employee can't do a simple French tip or just lay acrylic maybe he needs more training. While I was trying to start conversation and thank her for doing my nails she ignored me completely and straight up told me to stop talking. As I was still trying to be nice and respectful I asked her a question about my nails and she answered " I don't know I don't know just let me do your nails. I know I'm the nail technician but I don't know. " she was absolutely rude and unprofessional. Absolutely ridiculous wouldn't come here ever again. I have been going to this nail salon for almost 10 years... a few weeks ago I treated my daughters quinceaneras court to pedicures and acrylic nails, the girls did amazing, as always very friendly and sweet. Today was my first visit to Valley Nail & Spa. I live just down the street from this location and I was going to drive all the way out to East Mesa to where I have been in the past with my sister. I was treating someone to their first pedicure, and I wanted to make sure it was an amazing experience. However, I did not want to drive all the way out to East Mesa. So I decided to give this location a try. I called ahead and they told me they would have availability for two in 30 minutes I went down and the lady at the front desk was very welcoming. Atmosphere was very inviting. we were seated on the right hand side of the building and had the great pleasure of getting a pedicure. My guest was worked on by Stephanie. I am happy to report. She did an amazing job, and we will be returning in hopes to set in her section again. I had the pleasure of sitting in the chair with Ben. I don't know that I have ever had a pedicure from a guy. Ben is extremely good. Anyone would be lucky to sit in his chair and let him take care of you. We got the number number four selection on the menu. It was a $60 package. I wanted to make sure that the paraffin wax was included in the package. The answer to that question is yes. Another one of the employees came around and offered water and made sure we were perfectly comfortable. The massage chairs were wonderful. I just want to get a special thank you to Stephanie and Ben for a job. Well done. We will be going back as often as we can. I think I will get back in the habit of doing once a month like I used to with my sister and niece. What a great relaxing afternoon especially for those who work standing hours on your feet. Came in 14 mins before closing and they still did a meticulous job. Have been trying to get my nails done for a week now, but with a sick baby it just wasn't happening. Today i finally snatched some time for self-care and drove to this place randomly because it's 5 min from my house. I got here super near closing time, but they still helped me. They didn't do a rushed job at all. In fact i would say it's one of the most pristine manicures I've ever had. The two technicians who worked on them stayed 40 mins after. I've been to a lot of nail places in the valley that are rated much better, but tbh the joviality can feel forced while the actual work they do isn't that great. I really respect the work ethic here. Paid waaayyyyy to much money for horrible service !!!! Me and my friend went there for 2 full sets and 2 pedicures ! Both technicians who are husband and wife were both so rough and did not listen to what we wanted ! She cut my fingers up with the grinder/ drill bit ! He cut up my friends feet ! Look at the pictures !! She can't even walk she is in so much pain !! I was over charged , I wanted a $28 pedi but got charged $50 and still left a tip ! Beautiful inside but the employees are very rough and don't talk to you at all , only to each other ! No customer service at all ! Never going there again , my first and last time! I have been coming here for a couple years now and today i came in for a gel color change and full acrylic set and i did not like my nails. The receptionist agreed with hat my nails werent done correctly. My usual tech was very distracted while doing them and when i voiced what i did not like the receptionist suggested i ask a nail tech and when i asked Michelle she answered so insanely rude and said "i didnt do your nails" and walked away. Honestly I came here because I had an event and I am not a local. I was referred here. I gave it one star because the "look" of my nails was great. The shape was nice. But I had a bad feeling as soon as I went in. My sister in law & I book manicures together. They sat us with tech on opposite sides of the room. I asked them to sit us together, and the manager I'm assuming said that she couldn't ask a tech to move her belongings to another table. I said OK. And sat across the room. Second. My tech was nice her name was Natalie. She shaped them nice but her Efile was too high, she kept burning me. I asked her to turn it down twice. Other then that she was ok. Finally I leave I'm home for maybe 2 hours and my nail broke! I call the salon and told them I was coming back so they could fix it. I get ready for my event and go back. The manager is the lady who fixed me. She kept insisting that I was too hard on my nails. And that it was all my fault. I needed to be more gentle. This struck me as annoying. I've been getting DIP manicures for well over a year, in my home town & ive never had this problem. I told her to add a tip because it had actually broke my nail. & she said no, she would bond the nail together with the powder... ok. Fine. Her shaping of the nail wasn't as good as my original tech. But it was a relatively cheap manicure so I didn't complain. Now it's been SIX ( 6) days and another nail broke, and one other chipped. The powder they use must be cheap. Be sure to ask for 3 coats if you go. And extra clear. Because their techniques are good, they quality is cheap. Also, have good management and don't blame the customer if you want a return client. The nails are subpar, dull with not just much shine. Also she cut my cuticles without asking. This is completely unnecessary and can lead to unwanted infections read more

I've been coming to this place for over a year now. I've gotten pedicures, eyebrows waxed, and my nails done (SNS)...never had a bad experience. Great quality and great customer service. I'm also picky about my nails and they are always friendly if I see something I want corrected. I constantly get complimented on my nails. My only comment is that they should have a referral program! Very disappointed with this place. I have been going here for almost a year. Over this time there has been changes. First they seem to continually increase their price, currently I pay $50 for the luxury pedicure I do this for the extra time on the massage. I also get the CosmoSpa Green tea & honey which this last time they no longer have. For my nails I don't the SNS dip I do the SAME design every single time! And since my girl left I seem to get a different person each time and each time they have no idea what I am talking about for my nails and act like I'm being high maintenance on what I want. This weekend was my cherry on top when V tried to charge me $10 extra dollar for my nails because it took 2 extra coats to get them smooth (which they are NOT smooth). I even brought in my own glitter and advised I've never been charged extra and that she also did it differently than all the other girls have making my nails rough bcuz she waited till the end to add the glitter. After my complaint she advised I would not be charged extra (as of this was a favor to me). My end visit was over $160 (Pedi, SNS, wax) tip not included in that... I always tip extra $20 for each girl that works on me. Me being generous has gotten me nowhere with this place.
