Let me start with saying, I was once a HUGE Hyundai fan. My family has owned some 15 Hyundais over the years, however given my experiences with Hyundai as a Company and what I consider a lack of quality over the past few years, I cant see us ever purchasing another Hyundai. I would like to replace the current vehicles with another manufacture, but Hyundai vehicle resale/trade in value is terrible due to the level of quality and what is perceived by many of us Hyundai owners, as a lack of REAL Customer care at the corporation level With that being said, we do still own 5 Hyundais and this IS The place to have your Hyundai or KIA serviced. I have used several other dealers in the bay area and this is by far the best of the best. From the moment you walk in the door, you are treated like they value you and your business. Jordon and the entire team are Friendly, professional and make the time to listen and hear your concerns and needs. They do a complete inspection of the vehicle and give you a report when you pick up the vehicle. This is NOT a hard sell to get you to purchase more services and parts, although I am sure they would appreciate the additional business, but rather letting you know how your vehicle is performing and how to trey and ensure it is running at optimum condition. A few things they also do that is what I consider above and beyond. You can get a shuttle back home or to your place of business if the wait is too long as well as they will send a vehicle to pick you up when its ready. I left an amazing review on Google and bought a vehicle from them. The experience was great, and we got the vehicle we wanted. However, the vehicle was missing a home charger, which Gabe had promised to get for me. I emailed a few follow-up questions, but haven't received a response, which is why I believe their after-service follow-up could be improved. This dealership can provide poor customer service at times, so I can't give them a full 5 stars. Another issue is the missing wheel lock, and they expect us to pay to have it removed and replaced, with the cost all out of our pocket. If they sold me the car with it and it's not in the car, that shows a lack of responsibility on their part to fix the issue. Additionally, I emailed them more questions, and Alan, the manager, forwarded them to Mike, but it's been almost 3 weeks without any answers. I had had an okay buying experience and appreciated their effort, particularly the hustle of my sales person, Martha. Sadly, today, since I've had my vehicle for 10 months and am not looking to buy another, I've got to say they are pretty *horrible* and are, indeed, all about the hustle - once the sale has closed, it's over. Today we learned, after taking our car to a different, more responsive Hyundai dealership for service, that the slow loss of tire pressure that we have been having in one of the tires of our 2025 vehicle that we bought in March of last year was due to a *patch* on the tire. Imagine our shock to learn that, no, the weird loss of pressure in the tire was not because of the cold weather; it was because the tire had been repaired, before our purchasing it, with a patch. I called hoping to get help from Martha my salesperson. Though I was told she was there -- and even tried texting her, as she had formerly been very responsive -- no response at all. I spoke with Mr. Leung today, their business development manager, and he suggested that it had been "too long" since I bought the vehicle to get help with the *patched* tire, making the illogical suggestion that I had patched the tire. The absolute foolishness, of course, is: had I patched and it was leaking, I would have had zero reason to call Vallejo Hyundai. I would have re-patched it or bought a new tire, as was suggested by the dealership who informed me that the tire had been patched. Lastly, after Mr. Leung got off the phone to get Mr. Yanni, the general manager, only to return and tell me that Mr. Yanni was not there and that Martha was not available, Mr. Leung suggested that I call back on Monday. Of course, this suggestion, one, was foolish, as I have no ability to know when Mr. Yanni may be available; two, it demonstrates the atrociously poor customer service that I have been met with... unless they at Vallejo Hyundai think they can make a sale. When I bought my vehicle, the showroom looked more akin to a temporary warehouse that had had a feeble attempt to make it look like a sales showroom. I wish I had gone with my better mind and left, in spite of our having driven a good distance to visit this place and but my vehicle. I was tired that day and ignored all of the red flags, regrettably. Never again. Vallejo Hyundai's customer service is terrible. They are only responsive if they believe they can make a sale. I bought a new 2025 Sante Fe Hybrid AWD and the car is amazing. My experience purchasing the car was not good. First, I was sent a "mistake" for an out the door price. I was assured (in writing by Martha) that if I showed up at 9am I could be out the door by 11am. I worked with Kenneth who was nice but unable to close the deal without a finance manager (Ameen) who didn't start until 11am. I ended up walking out. After a lot of back and forth via email, we settled on a vehicle and price I was comfortable with. Kenneth delivered my vehicle to my home (thank you) but it only had one key fob. I got a written confirmation from Kenneth that I would get a second key fob and have had zero luck moving that process along. The sales manager (Joffre) has told me "he is working on it" but it feels strange to me that it takes over two weeks to start the key fob replacement paperwork and simply send me confirmation that it is happening. Additionally, I was not given a copy of any of the sales paperwork which seems very strange. read more

I wanted to like this place but unfortunately their post purchase experience needs work. Purchased vehicle on 7/1 and it's been over 3 weeks and I still haven't received the time of sale report. Worst yet, Joffre promised me he would work on it and he ghosted me. Stopped responding to me entirely. Then Ameen, the finance person said he would help me out with anything after purchase. The car is outstanding. The Time of sale report is all I am asking for. Again ghosted me. I don't understand why a dealer would do this. You need the Time of Sale report to claim the $7500 tax credit and now I'm pretty much out this amount because the entire team at Hyundai Vallejo is ignoring me despite saying they will get the report to me. The only people that responds to me is Kenneth and Emma but all they say is someone will get back to me. No one ever does. I anticipate I will be out another $5200 as well as I canceled the extended service. I doubt they will do it despite written instructions from me to cancel within the 30 day period. This dealership is acting very strangely. I'm used to the general manager calling me immediately saying. I will personally overnight the form to you within 3 days. You know. I think buying a car is one of the circles of hell, but I finally purchased one here and had a great experience doing it. Everyone was super friendly and accommodating and helpful - even as it took me hours to come to a decision and do all the paperwork. I was grateful for the low pressure atmosphere and I left feeling like I had gotten a good deal on my used Sonata Hybrid. Then, a month later, I get a small check in the mail (only for $37) from Vallejo Hyundai, saying that they'd overcharged me for the DMV fees and this was the difference. When does that ever happen - you get refunded out of the blue!?! It made me feel warm and fuzzy and prompted this review. I, too, have had 6 weeks of empty promises from the manager, Joffre. They were supposed to put on the door guard (that was supposed to be on the car already when it was sold to me), send me a cargo cover, and detail the car. All simple stuff.
