I have went to countless number of dealerships in search of the car I bought, at some point every dealer seemed sketchy, but I couldn't be more glad to buy it from this dealer. I purchased a Frozen White E92 M3 from them, and I'm relieved and happy to say that I found a beautiful example of one at their dealer. If anyone knows about this car, it can give you many problems if you buy one that isn't well taken care of. In term of my case, the car has been flawless. Over the past six months, the car hasn't given me a single issue. It runs exactly as it should and drives just as well as the day I bought it. The dealership has an impressive inventory of high quality, well maintained, many of which are near mint condition vehicles. Recently picked up my new to me 2011 Audi s4! First off walked into the dealership with an idea of just looking at the car they had listed but was still hesitant. I was approached by Leo who is by far the main reason why I walked out with the car the same day. The second I walked in I was treated like nothing but family we got to talking about the car, cracked a couple of jokes, and began to talk more about the car. I was sat down in the office was given a water bottle and enjoyed the conversation while he pulled up the car fax and informed me of the vehicle (very knowledgeable about the cars on his lot). After everything looked great with the carfax, time for a test drive! The car felt amazing obviously with being a 12 year car there was some imperfections that he pointed out to me (cosmetically), which shows you how honest and open book they are. Most dealerships will try to hide little flaws hoping you drive off the lot without noticing and it's no longer their problems, Not these guys! I loved the car and was set on walking out with it that day we sat down in the office once again and talked numbers. Ken (his dad) was not only great with customer service and treating me like family, was also very helpful with the paperwork side of things did not try to throw in some extra fees or anything shady but also sat with me page by page making sure I knew what I was signing and it what it meant. Dealership is very clean and some seriously nice cars on the show room!! Sold me a lemon some time ago, had to replace the engine after 30k miles. Fortunately, I found a mechanic who gave me a good deal at $5,000, although the bmw dealer had quoted $10k+. Divinci Motors was absolutely no help and I believe they'd known this was going to happen, especially considering how much they'd originally paid for it. Ran the VIN and saw they'd purchased it from an auction for $8,000 before selling it to me only months later at $18,000. These photos are my finished product - after another $20,000 was thrown into it. When I bought it from them, it was a bone stock 2011 non-M sport 535i. Absolute rip off, save your money and find another dealership. On a side note, if you're black they'll keep the second key and tell you they lost it. read more

First this Father/Son partnership is fantastic! They are honest and super fair. Everything was explained in detail nothing extra was added to finance. The variety and quality of their cars are superb. They do not list sold cars to bring you in. Clean environment, felt extra COVID precautions are taken here. I'm giving it 4 stars because they offered to partially correct their mistake. Also, the guys were friendly and respectful of my time (I wanted to get out of there as quick as possible as I had a long drive home). So, I'm willing to overlook the negatives and will shop there again. My only advice to shoppers is that you take the time to INSPECT the car/tires yourself, and don't assume their mechanic handled it. I worked mostly with Leo, who is a friendly, genuine, and "I got you brother" kinda guy. And their show room is nice! I just suggest replacing some of the snacks, my Oreos were long expired. So far so good. Long story short, I bought the car with a trade-in. The deal was fair, but his dad (business owner) is a hard bargain and I wasn't able to negotiate down at all. Also, I bought it under the impression that they fully inspected the car and made it safe to drive off the lot. A wise old man once told me "never assume!", and that would have come in handy if I had remembered the saying lol. On my drive home, (it was raining) the car was hydroplaning whenever I drove over soaked stretches of asphalt. It was a treacherous drive home and I could have wrecked on several [light-puddle-on-the-freeway] occasions. So, stupid me for assuming that the car was equipped with working tires. I didn't check because dealerships are supposed to take care of this. The 2 front tires were bald and compromised. So, the very next day I had to spend $650 on a set of tires+alignment. Divinci Motors sent me a check 2 weeks later for $250, to cover what they thought was a fair price for the 2 front tires which were compromised. I appreciate that they offered to help. My actual cost to replace all 4 tires was $650. And trust me, I did my shopping around to get this down to $650 in the first place. And I had to go far out of my way for that deal. So they should have offered half of my cost since half of the tires were unacceptably bad. My 2 cents. My message to the owner: Better experiences = referrals & return customers. I get that the economy is bad, and that you're hurting as a business. And I wish you the best luck staying afloat, believe me. Please just spend more time on quality control, ensuring cars leave your lot in better condition than they arrived from the auction lots. Otherwise people will figure out how to buy from auctions/mechanics directly. That includes good tires, not just an oil change. Overall, my chevy volt is still working great and I'm happy to report it only needed tires and wiper blades. This would have been a 5 star experience if I didn't need to spend money a day later, on basic safety. But overall, I still had a good value/positive experience with Divinci Motors. read more

I initially submitted a CARFAX review (3*) and after several attempts to update their non-intuitive interface and multiple attempts to gain their assistance navigating their website, I am writing this review. For decades I admired the beauty of Porsche vehicles in general but always felt out of reach. Recently (not getting any younger) I finally felt comfortable in purchasing a used Porsche, owned a 2008 for one day and paid nearly $900 to return it the following day (long story). Note: VW of Oakland needs to explain why I received a letter regarding financing since I paid outright to avoid financing. Later not giving up and found a 2006 Carrea at Divinci motors. It had lower mileage than the 2008 by 30+k miles and during the test drive it was much more quieter than the 2008. Drove great, looked great inside and out, less some interior ware; shifter, driver side door and the center drivers seat had a center piece that dropped but later restored during the following. Ended up purchasing but noticed an oil leak the following morning which prompted my CARFAX review rating. Leo (Dealer) reached out to fix it for me even though it was "As Is". Turns out it was the mechanic who changed the oil didn't tighten the oil pan plug properly! Bottom line, I was very relieved it wasn't anything more severe (like the IMS bearing??). Leo was very responsive during the entire process, Pre and post purchase. BTW, I don't typically give a 5* rating to anyone, has to be outstanding service which is rare these days. Perhaps if the dealership had given me a break on the total price or offered to reimburse me for my time and gas driving it back to the dealer I'd go 4.5*. read more

Terrible experience with this dealership. Sold me a faulty bmw with multiple issues off the lot. Have spent over $2,000 in repairs in less then 2 months. Most of these repairs should have been found by their mechanic, for they can be seen months before any symptoms even occur. Do not recommend; they will lie to your face to get a car off their lot as they did to me. Ken and Leo are scam artists and you should not trust them. Multiple appliances in the BMW don't even work. i.e. cigarette lighters and other plugins. The wear and tear was covered with some sort of leather conditioner, and went to crap a week after I took it home. The tan leather is now brownish on the seats, doors, and the display area including the arm rest. There are scratches that were also covered; one large one on the back bumper. I have replaced the water pump, the belt tensioner, and the serpentine belt so far. I'm now having engine overheating problems; after diagnostics I now must replace the Water Pump and Thermostat; another $1,000 out the window. This dealership is a joke. I thought everything would play out okay because of their positive reviews, but it turns out they were only the lucky ones. Do not purchase from this dealership. I work really hard for what I earn, and when it's all thrown away for someones commission; yeah I'm going to be upset - but I'll also be completely honest. Don't waste your time here, find a dealer you can trust. I took my vehicle in for an active recall, the photos provided are from the BMW DEALERSHIP in Pleasanton. Called them to ask about a Boxster S they have had in their inventory for some time. The guy who answered the phone was clearly not knowledgeable about the specific car, or Boxsters, or Porsche's in general, and not that interested in making a sale. Told me the cars come with just a carfax (no maintenance records) and they only allow a PPI at a shop in Vallejo or by a mobile mechanic. Obviously there are no Porsche dealers in Vallejo, nor any reputable indie Porsche shops, so I guess they expect Jiffy Lube to do the PPI. Considering issues with these cars (IMS, RMS, bore scoring, clutch, etc.) an improperly maintained one could cost thousands in repairs. I don't know who buys a Porsche without maintenance records and proper inspection and with just a Carfax report, but that's what these guys are selling. read more

Don't waste your time with these guys. I called in to get more information on a 2011 Aston Martin N420 that they had for sale. I explained to the sales rep that this car would be for my father in-law, who can absolutely afford it, and that price was not an issue. I asked if he would be able to test drive the car and the rep told me that it would take him 20 minutes to get the car out of the show room and that if he was going to go to "all that trouble" to pull the car out, then we had to promise to buy it, at the listed price, BEFORE even getting to test drive it. He made it sound like it was a major inconvenience for him to get the car out for us to test. He then said "I'm not going to waste my time getting the car out for some guy to drive it and then offer me $20k under asking or not buy it at all." How is someone supposed to feel comfortable spending $60k on a car, without being able to sit in it, let alone drive it? Worst sales team I've ever talked to. I purchased a 2015, Volkswagen Passat, and despite it having a minor scratch and a little weird smell (but it's a used car so I didn't expect it to be 100% perfect) the car runs so smooth and was in good condition. Also the guys were/are really helpful even long after purchase. Due to Covid, it's been 4 months and I still have not received my registration from the DMV, and instead of them just brushing me off and telling me to contact the DMV, ken was super helpful, sending me a new temp plate and handling with the dmv directly.
