I went to vallejo motors to buy a suv all I did was lay under 3 of his suv if I'm spending 10 thousand dollars I'm looking under the car I don't care.the owner came out and was yelling across the lot that I didn't pass the the credit check I told him what I found wrong with the suv I wanted I looked at three two had bad oil leaks bad bushings on control arms trani lines leaking at radiator and sensor plugs on trani hanging down unplugged the other had broken control arm bushing he gold me that it doesn't matter what I say the how much more money he has and he has better cars than I do asking what I drove so he could insult me him and his worker were both very disrespectful to us just because I looked under the car I came to buy.but main street auto sold me a nicer suv fully loaded leather new stereo bose speakers sun roof heated seats 4x4 on star everything very nice I told him credit was not all that good I drove the truck home he didn't get mad that I looked under the car I paid thousands less for a suv with NO OIL LEAKING and 4x4 that did not call names cuz I looked under his cars thanks read more

What a great experience! My son's car broke down and he needed a car ASAP so he could get back and forth to school. We found a car at Main Street Auto on autotrader.com and headed there to see it. The car wasn't "extra clean" the way I like my car's detailed, but that's a trivial item. Overall, the car looked good and we asked to test drive it. Zee pulled the car off the lot and let us take it out. The car rode very well so we headed back and asked if we could have a diagnostics done and Zee agreed. The diagnostic showed a few areas of concern, but nothing major. There were 2 items that we told Zee needed to be repaired and he said he'd have his mechanic fix both. We worked out the details and then wrapped up the transaction. Zee was such an easy person to work with and all together from test drive to pulling off the lot with the keys (minus the time of diagnostic) was less than 2 hours. We bought the car "as is" so if ANYTHING goes wrong in the immediate future, I will be sure to come back and update my review. I wanted to share my experience with my neighbors ,and friends because it is rare to walk away from a business transaction feeling valued ,and completely satisfied. My first contact with Main street auto was well over a year ago ,but in the short conversation Z and I had , he left me with a lasting impression . One of trust. While I worked to build a decent down payment ,my wife ,and I did visit other car lots . Most of the time we walked away feeling discouraged . My car was problem after problem Wife found the perfect car on his website.. Spoke to Zee on the phone.. Got pre-qualified on-line. Took the 2+ hour car drive (1-way) to the lot. Met Zee "Great Guy" We were able to drive off with the car we wanted in about an hour no hassle financing.. On the way back home the clutch was slipping and needed replacement. Called Zee on the phone while still in route home and explained the problem. His response.. No issues bring me the car and we will put a new clutch in it. This has to be one of the easiest car purchases we have ever made. Zee was able to see us on a Saturday afternoon and we were able to close the deal in the matter of a about an hour. The environment is very low stress. Zee allows you to look the vehicle over without being right on top of you and gives you space to talk things out with your significant other. The vehicle we purchased has to be one of the cleanest used cars that we have ever purchased. Every other car on his lot looked to be in the same great shape that the one we bought is. When I visited the bay area I helped my elderly aunt purchase a commuter car and luckily we found Main Street Auto. It is a small used car lot, and we had to drive about 40 mins from the city, so as you can imagine, we were suspicious but the price was very reasonable so my aunt convinced me to take a chance because the limited time we had and it turned out to be the best thing we did. We took our time looking to purchase a used 2014 or 2015 VW Passat. There were only two to choose from in the northbay area ( both in Vallejo). The 2015 had several issues on Carfax where the 2014 Passat at Main st Auto had zero issue's. We were so impressed by the car as well as the extremely courteous owner Zee ! It was the quickest car purchase of our lives! Zee even agreed to take a check post dated two days after the actual purchase. Great service buying our used car. Driving up it seemed like a not so great area. I'm glad we stopped there. The owner was so helpful and no pressure. We were able to take the car out without the pressure of having a salesperson breathing down your neck. We had a number we wanted to stick with and he did his best to meet us close to that.
