Will Cress and sales manager Kyle O'Neil really came through for me. If you know anything about the Grand Highlander Hybrid, you know how hard they are to find but the team made it happen. I placed my order with all the specs I wanted, and within a month they had the vehicle ready to go. Will took the time to walk us through all the features during the test drive, and the entire process from start to finish was smooth and stress free. We wrapped up the paperwork quickly and drove off in my wife's brandnew Grand Highlander. This was hands down the best car buying experience I've ever had. I highly recommend Jimmy Vasser Toyota and especially Will and Kyle for anyone looking for a professional and enjoyable buying experience.

Buying a car is usually stressful, but working with Anthony Rangel at Jimmy Vasser Toyota of Napa…read morecompletely changed that for me. I came in with two things working against me, a Tesla trade-in in a very saturated market, and zero interest in aggressive negotiating. I'm not someone who enjoys haggling. I'm transparent, straightforward, and value fairness. Anthony got that immediately. I shopped my trade-in around, and Anthony came back with the strongest offer by thousands of dollars. After seeing what some other dealers were offering, it was honestly a no-brainer to move forward with Jimmy Vasser. Throughout the entire process, there was no pressure, no gimmicks, and no uncomfortable sales tactics. Just clear communication, fair numbers, and respect for what I wanted. We went through a bit of a journey finding the right Land Cruiser(Only a week or so!). I passed on black and held out for Meteor Shower. Anthony worked on dealer trades, kept me updated the whole time, and never once made me feel like I was being difficult or wasting anyone's time. When the final vehicle came with a roof rack and predator steps I didn't want, they didn't try to convince me otherwise. Instead, they discounted the car and removed both items at no cost. That kind of flexibility and customer-first thinking is rare. Finance was also refreshingly easy. Elliot explained options clearly and didn't push add-ons I didn't need. If you're looking for a dealership where you can be yourself, be honest about your goals, and walk away feeling good about the deal, ask for Anthony. This is how car buying should feel.

Luckily, I was able to maneuver my way to a side street - shut down my vehicle and consider my options. I decided to limp it along slowly to the closest dealership via backstreets without any issues thankfully. I explained my situation to Cesar and Vern. They both immediacy dropped everything, took the time to hear me out, make suggestions, and took a look at my car. With the service dept being closed for the holiday weekend (Labor Day), they offered to keep the Jeep, give me a rental, and diagnose in Tuesday. (Keep in mind this jeep was not purchased with them, nor under warranty.) They offered my less-than-thrilled bored kids some bbq burgers to pass the time we were there too. I had my dad and husband meet me there - since they could not re-create there issue after driving it more, we elected to take it home. We made it home safe, but thankful for these guys for helping me out, being super kind, and very patient while I came up with a plan. Thanks guys!

Avoid this dealership if you value customer service…read more This review is specifically about Carlos Barrera and the Sales department. To be clear, the Service department has been excellent -- professional, reliable, and willing to step in when Sales fell short. Special thanks to Maui Oregon in Service, who worked hard to make up for Carlos's lack of follow-through. On December 27, 2024, I purchased a Jeep Renegade from Carlos. The car had several issues that were written into the contract to be repaired. Because it was dark at the time of purchase, we couldn't fully inspect the vehicle. Later, additional problems surfaced, which Carlos also promised to address. Unfortunately, he stopped responding to me altogether. It wasn't until I posted a negative review on Google/Yelp four months later -- which Corporate noticed -- that he finally reached out. The delays were extreme. It took until April for repairs to begin, and our vehicle was out of service for more than a month. While a loaner car was provided, this did not excuse the lack of communication and accountability. To make matters worse, I later learned from Service that if the vehicle had been left with them at the time of purchase, the parts would likely have arrived within a week, not four months. You'd think Sales would be aware of that, but nope. By mid-May, most of the issues were resolved, but a dent and interior discoloration were left unaddressed. Service informed me that Carlos never passed along these items, despite assuring me he would. When I followed up, he ignored emails, responded once by text on June 3 promising to "look into it," and has ignored all communication since. See screenshot. I paid for a brand-new vehicle and was promised that all flaws would be fixed. That promise was not honored. Instead, I was met with months of silence, broken commitments, and an overall lack of professionalism from Sales. Now I will have to pay for the remaining repairs out of pocket somewhere else. If you are considering Hanlees, my advice is simple: buy elsewhere. The Service team may try to help, but the Sales experience with Carlos Barrera was a disaster. Do not put yourself through the same ordeal.

My prior car was running fine and I didn't need a new car but wanted to see what was out there. It ended up that they didn't want to sell me the car listed on their website since it was at a sister site in Morgan Hill. They sold me on essentially the same car but with a different color that was currently being used as a loaner car for people to use when theirs was in the shop. It really felt like a classic bait and switch maneuver since the original car I was interested in was more desirable as it was listed as a private-use vehicle whereas the one they sold me on and what I ultimately purchased was a corporate fleet vehicle. They promised me that I would have the car in my possession 2 days later. I received no communication in this time when the car would be delivered until I finally spoke to a sales manager, Sylvia who promised me I would have the car on the 3rd morning. I did get car that 3rd morning and there wasn't an all weather cargo trunk liner even though I was promised it verbally. They also told me not to sign the title transfer of my trade in vehicle which felt like a red flag since this is typically standard practice with other dealerships and in my past experience. Overall, don't go in expecting anything more than your average car dealership experience. I spent 5 hours in there the first day and it still took three days to get the car. I felt that they really pressured me with all the sales tactics to purchase this car. I thought based on the reviews and that I didn't really need a new car, it would be a more pleasant experience. It was not.

Saturday, I walked into the dealership, asked to test drive a truck, and I took it for a cruise. When I got back, I asked for the best price they would offer. (we live local) before she could return with the check, I already signed all the paperwork, the car was cleaned and detailed, the tank was filled, and I was ready to go. I kid you not, start to finish. I was out the door in under an hour with keys in hand. Normally, I hate buying a car. I would rather go to the dentist with a mouthful of cavities then sit in most dealerships. Napa Nissan Is Family owned and I shows. Thanks

We researched the model car we had our eye on, including known issues for the year and KBB value. The one on this lot was priced high, but we rationalized that it was due to low miles for the year. Just in case, though, we took it to the Toyota dealer to have it inspected. As we were literally pulling away from the lot after having just purchased it, the check engine light came on. Not a great feeling when you just dropped $11k for a 13 year old vehicle. In retrospect, the light was probably in during the test drive too, but I didn't notice that because I was focused on so many other things. You sort of just assume warning lights won't be flashing when you're buying a car. Once home, had the car checked out by our trusted mechanic only to discover that the steering column was broken (!). We had them fix it to the tune of $800. I returned to M&J and explained the situation and got the "too bad so sad" response from them. They refused to even split the cost with me and further accused me of breaking it and that the car was perfect when they had it. First of all, how does one break a steering column driving on flat roads within a mile radius of the lot? I have never in my life broken the steering column in a car. I'm not even sure what stress the car (which is equipped with 4WD btw) would need to go through to make that happen. Second, to the point that we had the car independently inspected, apparently they don't include checking random things that usually don't randomly break in their 54 point inspections. They also do not check for warning lights apparently. All of this could have been right by the dealership to split the cost with me, which they refused to do. It left me feeling ripped off. Slimy business owners need to be called out so thank god for Yelp. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this business, unless you are a mechanic and know what you're buying into. Otherwise you may get left holding the bag for some expensive repairs like I was.
