They made the process very smooth and pleasant, and when I turned down extra services at the point of purchase, they were super respectful about it, and didn't try to aggressively push it. I took my son's car to Team Chevrolet Vallejo for an oil change. I was told they would take care of certain things, but unfortunately, much of what I was told turned out not to be true, Later that same day, I received a text message from the service manager saying that the car was ready. I replied to the text asking whether someone could pick me up or if I should call an Uber. He responded that the connection was bad and that he could not read my message properly. I eventually found my own ride back to Team Chevrolet Vallejo. When I arrived, there was one man behind the service desk. I told him I was there to pick up my car, and he simply handed me the key. The moment I started the car, I noticed that the tire-pressure warning light was on, and had not even left the dealership. I immediately told the employee about the tire-pressure warning light. He told me to drive the car over to the shop area. I asked him whether he wanted me to drive it over myself or whether someone from the dealership should do it. He told me it was okay for me to drive it over. What happened next was even more disappointing. I saw the employee speaking to a technician, and then the technician came over to me with an aggressive and unprofessional attitude and asked, "What can I do for you?" I told him to ask the service advisor because he already knew why I was there. The technician gave me an unprofessional look and then told me, "It's okay, just drive it. You'll be okay." I told him no. The vehicle came in without the tire-pressure warning light on, and I expected to receive it back in the same condition. He then said, "Okay, one minute, " and returned with a Temu small scanner. He plugged it into the OBD port without even turning the ignition on, with the key in my hand, and immediately told me there was nothing wrong with the tires because there was no code I said really, At that point, I felt like I needed to leave because I was being treated as though I did not understand anything about vehicles. What they did not know is that I have been a mechanic for more than 34 years, and I understand how these systems work, and the way this situation was handled was neither professional nor technically convincing. When the car was at the shop they sent me a video of the tech saying the rear brake pad hit the metal so he recommended replacing the pads and rotors right away, i was going to have him do the brakes job but the way they treated me I change my mind, on my way back home from the dealership the radio start acting strangely, at the time I was replacing the rear brake pads on the car, driver side wheels was completely loosed, at the time I dropped off the car I told them this is my son's car, I have it on video and the rear brakes was 40%. My concern is not only the tire-pressure warning light. It is the poor communication, the dismissive attitude, the lack of professionalism, and the way I was treated after bringing the vehicle in for a simple oil change. A customer should not bring in a vehicle without warning lights and receive it back with a warning light on, only to be told to "just drive it. So I contacted the store manager to explain what happened, and I was told someone would get back to me the next day, but that never happened. I also tried contacting the store manager more than four times, and my calls were ignored. I then went to the dealership and spoke with the service manager and explained the situation. He told me I was wrong and claimed the vehicle could be properly checked with a scanner without the ignition being on. He also said someone would call me because he was busy, even though there was no one else there at the time--it was just him and me. Despite that, I still have not received a response I am giving Team Chevrolet Vallejo 30 days to correct the problem they caused. Wednesday I was told the hose was out of stock. thursday I was told the part they put on was defective and they had to order a new hose. Friday I was told other people were ahead of me & he wanted the job done right He did not want the mechanic to hurry to get it completed today. 1:00 Saturday and I still do not have my car back. Saturday I was wondering when I will have my car repaired & returned At 10:00 I called to see when it would be done. They open @ 7:30. 11:18 I was told not yet maybe 20 minutes till it is done. Called me at 11:53 done waiting for a ride to pick me up. 12:46 no ride I waited & waited for the driver to pick up to get my car. 45 minutes later I called again a couple of times went straight to voicemail. He is polite , courteous and very respectful of your time. He communicates well and keep me updated on my Tahoe . This was my first time bringing my truck to them and it left a bad taste in my mouth. I asked for an itemized print out of all work performed and they didn't do it. I asked what the price was for the engine air filter before they replaced it and they just replaced it without my okay. $167.00 for a $10.00 dollar part. They deducted $30 from my bill for their incompetence. I feel like i was taken advantage of and it just doesn't feel good at all. Before the sale is finalized, all three of the employees assisting Homer (the salesperson, the finance manager and the finance director) call Homer frequently and return all of Homer's calls very promptly. As soon as the sale is finalized, and Homer is no longer of use to them, all three of them abruptly stop returning Homer's calls. This overtly shoddy, dismissive attitude is the truly disgusting part, which pushes Homer beyond his limit, to write this negative review. ROADRUNNER CARTOON Possessing zero business sense, the cartoon dealership and parent company managers are blissfully unaware of the financial repercussions of cheating and alienating a customer. They lose not only that customer's future business, but also the business of the people who read his negative review. The dealership staff devote all their energy to coming up with half-witted "schemes" to make a one-time dishonest "quick buck," but, by doing so, they sacrifice hundreds of thousands of "long-term bucks" from the potential customers who will avoid this dealership after reading this review. This is like a "Roadrunner" cartoon. The coyote devotes all his energy to devising pea-brained convoluted schemes, designed to capture the roadrunner; and then they backfire on him. BAD FIX Btw, on Homer's new car, a section of the body breaks away. Homer persuades the dealership to fix it (he does this in person, since they ignore his calls). A few days after they "fix" it, that section comes away again, so Homer takes it to an outside body shop. [Homer wonders if this defect might be the reason for the dealership spending so long "cleaning" the car, hidden from view, before he can drive it away.] UNEXPECTED "TWIST" I CONFESS: I DECEIVED YOU! The story above didn't happen in a cartoon. It happened in real life! The dealership employees are not exaggerated cartoon "caricatures." They are real people, who really do behave in that pathetic way and really do carry out those transparently crude and clumsy schemes! The customer wasn't Homer Simpson - it was me. Went in to get my car serviced for tire servicing, to get my sensors checked out and asked about a rattling noise the engine was making do to some damage that I know I did. After my car spent a day at their shop, I left with only having the tires serviced but they didn't turn off the check light on my dash, didn't get to the sensors and said they couldn't find the source of the rattle issue, and paid more than intended to. Returned to Team Chevrolet, lured in by an offer for an oil change and tire rotation for my Silverado @ $79.95. Arrived on time for my 8:30a appointment to find only one service writer on duty and a line of five people waiting to check in their vehicles. Two more service writers eventually stepped in and I was checked in within 15 minutes of arriving. The work took about two hours. However after my vehicle was finished and I could see it parked out front, it took another 30+ minutes for the service writer to "prepare my paperwork" so I could pay for the work and get out of there. The service writers were very courteous and apologized for the wait, which goes a long way in my book. And I don't blame them. Rather I blame the dealership and whatever system they have in place that makes it take a long time to pay your bill and get your keys. Next time I'll drop off my vehicle and just plan for them to have it half a day for an oil change. read more

Stan is a total asshole piece-of-shit. This place took over 11 weeks to fix my car. Due to my insurance having (very reasonable) limits on how much they would pay for a rental, this company's negligence led to me having to pay multiple thousands of dollars just for the rental car while they dragged their feet fixing my car. My tow truck driver didn't put my car on a block when he delivered the car. Stan yelled at me for this multiple times, as if I had any control over it. Stan then refused to work with me until I cleaned my car out. While cleaning my car out as per his demand, Stan then began to chew me out for taking too long to clean my car. This place was so mad at me for my tow truck driver not putting my car on a block that they purposefully neglected to fix my car. Apparently there was a bunch of issues with the truck that was documented but conveniently left out of the maintenance report. A leaky roof and leaky coolant and a broken DEF tank level sensor is something a buyer would want to know and not to mention a transmission that slips more than Biden going down some stairs. Not only that but when you bring your vehicle in for warranty work they'll drag it along for months with no updates as to why it's taking months and good luck getting ahold of your advisor. Had to keep calling the branch manager to get Erica to answer her phone. She even blocked me at one point. Like really lady you have my truck. That I use for work. And you're effing up my livelihood doesn't even offer me a loaner. Shady sales team that doesn't know anything about GM products and shady service department. BOTH COMPLIANCE BUSHINGS ARE CRACKED AND THE CONTROL ARM HAS EXCESSIVE MOVEMENT FRONT STRUTS ARE MAKING NOISE AND BOUNCY. WHEEL BEARINGS FEEL TIGHT AND GOOD AT THIS TIME. DO NOT FEEL ANY PLAY IN THE STEERING COMPONENTS AT THIS TIME. **RECOMMEND LOWER FRONT CONTROL ARMS, FRONT STRUTS AND FRONT RIGHT CV AXLE. ALONG WITH PERFORMING AN ALIGNMENT. From my recollection these repairs were supposedly done on my vehicle. Apparently NOT!! STRUTS "replaced June 2023" CV AXLE AND AXLE SEAL "replaced July 29, 2022 Had to reach out to B.A.R. which is the Bureau of Automotive Repair so that they can give me some help with getting my repairs and he was lied to stating that there's only a 12 month warranty which is a lie there's a 24-month warranty on parts. He also was told that Team apparently didn't even replace the full strut assembly. They didn't install the plate that goes on the strut. Like seriously?!?! So not only did they not do the job that they were supposed to but then they want me to pay the diagnostic fee again and pay for them to replace the plate that they never put on which was 120 bucks plus pay for labor I think not!! I feel as if they're trying to wait me out so they don't have to replace the parts for free as covered under the warranty and have me pay all over again. These people are sending hard copy junk mail to our house to someone who does not live here. I emailed them off their website NUMEROUS times and they refuse to answer. So I did the chat - someone named "Juan" responded, and wanted my phone number. The last thing I'm going to do is give my personal phone number to a car dealer. How about simply responding to my multiple emails??? Then he closed out the "chat" and it had a "survey" of how likely I was to recommend Vallejo Chevrolet. Take a big guess at what my answer was. This is one of those car dealers that think they know better than you. "We're not going to remove your address from our list because eventually you'll give in and drive the 40 miles to our dealership and buy something from us - even though the person's name on the mail isn't even you." I would take the bus a hundred miles a day before I'd ever step foot in this dealership. If they offered me a free car I'd tell them to f off. The only way to get these shysters to stop harassing you this way is to get all of upper management at Chevrolet's emails and home addresses and tell them if your address isn't removed, you'll start sending them your personal "junk mail." I have started the process of getting the emails of these people. If anyone else can't get these people to take ten seconds of their life and remove your address from their database, I'll be happy to give them to you. read more

I dropped my vehicle off for a recall in the morning and the rep said that it was estimated to take 1-2 days. The service was prompt. She was nice. I had a ride so I asked her to call me when the recall was completed. A few hours later, my phone started going off like crazy while I was in the middle of a project. Text. Email. Text. Email ... all "Needs immediate attention" ... then a phone call from the rep telling me that my 2 front tires needed to be replaced and the vehicle needs an alignment. I was really concerned (because I trusted them) and asked how much it would cost and how long it would take. She said the estimated cost was $771 and it would be ready for me the next day (see pictures attached). $771 was a lot of money for me, so I told her I needed some time before I could make the purchase. All 4 tires on my new vehicle are Michelin Energy Saver and have only 21,000 miles on them. They're rated for 65,000 miles. Since I declined the 2 new tires and the alignment, my vehicle was ready to be picked up. I was really disappointed when I came to pick up the vehicle. The tires that this service center wanted to replace looked very good to me (see pictures attached). It's so wasteful to replace these tires. I'm going to another service center to get my tires rotated and will ask them for a second opinion. Also, the recall only took a few hours and was ready when the rep started texting/emailing/calling me for an issue that "needs immediate attention". Now I understand why she told me it would take 1-2 days. Even though my vehicle only has 21,000 miles on it, she was adding in the additional time it would take for them to fix something ... anything .. on a brand-new vehicle. If she was focused on just the recall she would have said "3-5 hours", which is more honest and accurate. Be careful with any service center. Don't approve any additional expenses without getting a second opinion. It's hard to find an honest service center these days. read more

Where do I start?!!! I came in ready to purchase a car. My salesmen sold NOTHING didn't even know the car was on the lot. None of the amenities about it didn't even show me a thing. Took FOREVER so there was plenty of time to show me everything. Had to call multiple times after the deal was done to receive my contract that was never sent. I was promised a car wash and a full tank and guess what DIDNT GET IT!!!!! Then the rep promised to meet me at the pump to fill up after the fact and never showed up or answered my calls when I was there WAITING FOR WHAT WAS PROMISED. Thankfully I love my car but this place is a JOKE!!!!! Do Not come here. Go to Kia in Hilltop or Vacaville GMC where there appreciate customers and know what they are doing. I will be spreading the word not to buy here. This was not my first purchase and by far the worst experience ever. Thankful for Nicole's help with some DMV issues but that was the only highlight. I work in the diesel service world and I am absolutely disgusted that this kind of service exists. Really sad. Good luck if you go here. read more
