We found ourselves dealing with multiple stranded-car situations and tow truck rides for a newly purchased vehicle, which was understandably stressful and frustrating. We eventually had the car towed to Honda of Vallejo, where we were assigned Ton in the Service Department as our advisor. From the very beginning, Ton was incredibly helpful, accommodating, and understanding of the urgency of getting the issue diagnosed and resolved. He kept us informed every step of the way and maintained constant communication throughout the process. What really stood out was how genuinely he treated us like valued customers--not just another service issue or number in line. He took the time to listen, answer our questions, and make sure we understood what was happening. He also went above and beyond by helping us find a resolution and secure a discount on an additional key, something we had previously been unsuccessful in getting assistance with through Sales and the GM. After such a frustrating experience, having someone like Ton step in and provide exceptional customer service made all the difference. We truly appreciate his professionalism, kindness, responsiveness, and genuine commitment to helping us. Thank you so much, Ton! Your outstanding service did not go unnoticed, and we are incredibly grateful for all of your help. I hope this message finds you and that you know how much we appreciate you!

I was also told I would be "blacklisted" for not moving forward with their offer after comparing options by Joshua Sasoy Internet Sales Director. If you're someone who shops multiple dealerships and negotiates based on market pricing, be prepared for a difficult interaction. I ultimately chose to purchase elsewhere under better terms and a smoother process.

I've traded in a few cars in my life, and always without fail, you get one price over the phone, and then once they get you in-person they start with excuses why they can't honor it - but NOT here. They didn't try to talk their own offer down even after seeing damages on the car they didn't know about when they gave the initial offer. They made the process very smooth and pleasant, and when I turned down extra services at the point of purchase, they were super respectful about it, and didn't try to aggressively push it. I would definitely come back to them and recommend them to my own friends and family.

I replied to the text asking whether someone could pick me up or if I should call an Uber. He responded that the connection was bad and that he could not read my message properly. I eventually found my own ride back to Team Chevrolet Vallejo. When I arrived, there was one man behind the service desk. I told him I was there to pick up my car, and he simply handed me the key. The moment I started the car, I noticed that the tire-pressure warning light was on, and had not even left the dealership. I immediately told the employee about the tire-pressure warning light. He told me to drive the car over to the shop area. I asked him whether he wanted me to drive it over myself or whether someone from the dealership should do it. He told me it was okay for me to drive it over. What happened next was even more disappointing. I saw the employee speaking to a technician, and then the technician came over to me with an aggressive and unprofessional attitude and asked, "What can I do for you?" I told him to ask the service advisor because he already knew why I was there. The technician gave me an unprofessional look and then told me, "It's okay, just drive it. You'll be okay." I told him no. The vehicle came in without the tire-pressure warning light on, and I expected to receive it back in the same condition. He then said, "Okay, one minute, " and returned with a Temu small scanner. He plugged it into the OBD port without even turning the ignition on, with the key in my hand, and immediately told me there was nothing wrong with the tires because there was no code I said really, At that point, I felt like I needed to leave because I was being treated as though I did not understand anything about vehicles. What they did not know is that I have been a mechanic for more than 34 years, and I understand how these systems work, and the way this situation was handled was neither professional nor technically convincing. When the car was at the shop they sent me a video of the tech saying the rear brake pad hit the metal so he recommended replacing the pads and rotors right away, i was going to have him do the brakes job but the way they treated me I change my mind, on my way back home from the dealership the radio start acting strangely, at the time I was replacing the rear brake pads on the car, driver side wheels was completely loosed, at the time I dropped off the car I told them this is my son's car, I have it on video and the rear brakes was 40%. My concern is not only the tire-pressure warning light. It is the poor communication, the dismissive attitude, the lack of professionalism, and the way I was treated after bringing the vehicle in for a simple oil change. A customer should not bring in a vehicle without warning lights and receive it back with a warning light on, only to be told to "just drive it. So I contacted the store manager to explain what happened, and I was told someone would get back to me the next day, but that never happened. I also tried contacting the store manager more than four times, and my calls were ignored. I then went to the dealership and spoke with the service manager and explained the situation. He told me I was wrong and claimed the vehicle could be properly checked with a scanner without the ignition being on. He also said someone would call me because he was busy, even though there was no one else there at the time--it was just him and me. Despite that, I still have not received a response I am giving Team Chevrolet Vallejo 30 days to correct the problem they caused. If this is not resolved, I will file a complaint with the California Bureau of Automotive Repair and consider taking legal action. zeibmw@aol.com

The best car buying experience I have ever had by far! Entire process from initial contact to…read morereceiving my car was frictionless and effortless. Excellent communication, service, and timely replies. I received a significant discount on the OTD price, even when including the BuySide Auto fee. On top of that, I NEVER had to step into a dealership, talk to a salesperson directly, spend hours playing the "let me ask my manager" game, or have to talk to a Finance manager and repeatedly say NO to unnecessary options. All communication was easily done through email and text, although phone and in-person contact was also available. Process starts with completing a convenient online request. From there, Kim contacted me to fully understand my wishlist, range of optional requirements, and any non-negotiables. After reaching out to their dealer network, within a day she provided a list of potential matches with estimated OTD prices, which included some in SoCal available for transfer to the Bay Area and cars still in production with estimated availability dates. I had a lot of questions and some requests and Kim was very responsive and instrumental in relaying them to the dealer and advocating for me. Even my request to remove all dealer installed options was negotiated by Kim and granted by the dealer with no hassle on my end. I paid the BuySide Auto fee to reserve the car for purchase and when the car was available I opted to pickup at their office in SF. Home delivery to SF is also currently no charge, while delivery outside of the city is available with a modest fee. Upon first contact, I asked if weekend pickup or delivery was available, since their normal hours are on weekdays. Kim made note of it and remembered my preference even after the sale was completed. Chris was able to make himself available for Saturday pickup! We took a walk around the car took a look inside. We spent no more than 10 minutes reviewing and signing paperwork, received my keys, and I was off with my brand new car! Both Kim and Chris were great to work with and I have no hesitation in working with them again for future car purchases.

If anyone knows about this car, it can give you many problems if you buy one that isn't well taken care of. In term of my case, the car has been flawless. Over the past six months, the car hasn't given me a single issue. It runs exactly as it should and drives just as well as the day I bought it. The dealership has an impressive inventory of high quality, well maintained, many of which are near mint condition vehicles. The buying process was very straightforward, transparent, and completely pressure free. Leo and the rest of the staff were very friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. They also offer optional GWC warranties, which I think is a nice addition for buyers who some sort of warranty. If you are genuinely in the market for a quality vehicle, I highly recommend checking DaVinci Motors out. This is a dealership that caters to serious buyers and provides a professional, no pressure buying experience.
