This is our family's favorite do it yourself pizza place. I just don't like the crust at blaze pizza and the pizza always looks flat there to me. Personal preference I suppose. The crust here is so good. Thin and crisp. At Blaze while it is very thin and crisp it also gets super soggy quickly and sometimes taste burnt. Never tastes burnt here and the crispiness lasts a long time. They are also very generous with toppings and my pizza always looks so full of life! Love this place! read more

I went pre covid, on a Sunday, crowded, the service was very , I ordered 2 pizzas to go as there were no seats and I took them home, the toppings looked and smelled good. However when I took a bite the pizza crust on the bottom was burnt not toasted but burnt. I never went back. 2 stars for the service they were nice read more

We arrived at Vail Pizzeria at 8:25 expecting to be able to get Pizza because the hours on the door and website say you close at 9pm. But as we walked in the guy working tonight said you guys were closed and he already shut down the oven. To say the least we were disappointed because we were craving some of your pizza. Start with the place first. Located in the back of a shopping center park area that is modeled like an old mining town or farmers market. Quaint but parking is not close by. There is indoor and some outdoor seating. Ordering is simple and everything is on the menu but you can't see the menu while you're ordering. The pizza maker asks you if you want this or this or this... very time consuming. Fortunately I wasn't In a hurry and there was nobody else in line. In fact, there was only one other couple in the place when I came in. Good selection of the usual toppings and sauces and a few more "exotic" choices. The crust is competent, thin and well-structured but obviously machine made and only the cilantro infused dough shows any creativity. Huge gas-fired stone oven seems to work well as long as you don't "over dress" your pie.i recommend going light on the cheese unless it's a cheese only pie. TL;DR If they could make a tastier crust, this would be the full 5 stars. Get a real Italian baker to teach you how to make tasty dough. read more

I ordered my pizza delivery here on Yelp, as my family and I were visiting Danza Del Sol Winery and needed to soak up some of that wine. Well, the pizza was delicious! I had the Gluten-free margarita, and the other two pizzas were a pineapple Canadian bacon, and cheese. Believe it or not, those that had a slice of my Gluten-free pizza, loved that one the best! We came on a Saturday night, in before the rush. Pizza dough was fresh make to order as you stand in line. Unlimited toppings to choose from and all fresh on your pizza for 8.99. Nice and friendly staff. Pizza hot and ready in minutes and we ate there. Only one thing I would liked changed here is the seating. Bar stools were not comfortable at all. We so wanted to love this place since it is located in such a cute area and we'd heard great things, but were definitely disappointed. I have to say their cheesy garlic bread was delicious and would be ordered again, but that's where our purchasing would stop. We ordered two pizzas. One build your own and one chicken bbq. Both sauces were lacking in flavor and were pretty dry. The pizza maker didn't have product knowledge when asked about two separate toppings and their garlic cream sauce tasted like creamy Italian salad dressing. There was an issue with the bbq pizza getting messed up in the oven and the staff was quick to apologize and remake it, so that was a nice perk, but otherwise you'd have a better experience and food at Blaze. read more

First time here, just moved to the area, saw the pizza sign, and took a chance. So glad we did, it's a build your own pizza, one price for medium, which fed two of us. If you are hungry though, I'd recommend buying one each. The crust is very thin, I loved it crunchy and spicy. Veggies and meats were fresh, not overcooked or undercooked. The building can be hard to find, clear in the back of Vail park, but really a short walk. You can stop at the ice cream place for dessert, it's amazing too. read more

They cut off any over baked parts and let us eat that while we waited for fresh ones (which only took another minute or so). Love the outside eating area since my kids don't sit for very long anyway. We love this place. The pizza is delicious, the staff is super friendly, and it's always nice and clean. The green cilantro pizza dough is to die for. Very 'herbalicious', and has ruined us for regular pizza dough. Plus, they have a frequent flyer program for a free pizza, and I get really great deal email coupons every week. Vail Pizzaria is our favorite place to eat when we're not cooking at home, hands down. For the price and quality of food, the staff, it's always our first choice when we're going out to eat. Vegan review. Yes they do have gluten free crust which is the only vegan option. They also have vegan daiya cheese. Which is all cool! But the pizza itself is whatever. Nothing special. Not their fault, just the nature of the cheese and crust. The place itself is cute but kinda small inside. They do have outside seating in picnic tables in the dirt. Came for the first time because of the excellent reviews on yelp. The first thing I noticed that the place is not clean at all. The chairs were dirty the floors are filthy the door leading out to the bathroom is so dirty. We ordered our pizza, the girl was very nice. The guy was not too friendly. Neither of them smiling not sure if they like their job. The pizza was delicious, we do like the thin crust. We will come back, hopefully the inside will look cleaner. I love the location. In the Vail Ranch plaza next to Khol's shopping. It's a cute area to bring your family especially early in the day when there's farmers market! The service here was great. We asked about all of our options and he was very thorough and clear as to what would go good together. They have different types of breads and a number of excellent, fresh toppings. We ordered a pizza with ham, pineapple, tomatoes, black olives, spinach, and pesto. I thought it would be a while to cook but it only took 3 minutes to be cooked to perfection. The ambiance was nice and went well with the theme of the Vail Ranch headquarters. I will definitely be back and get this place into the lunch rotation.
