Definitely not the best in town. Vail is trying to carve a spot among all of the other "custom fast cooked pizza" places. We had a chicken pesto pizza on cilantro crust, a side of wings, and a side cheesy garlic bread. The garlic bread was delicious...but the other items, not so much. I didn't finish the wings, as they were cold in the middle and not at all fresh tasting. The pizza crust was more like a cracker than a crust. I realize that everybody likes their crust different, but there was no chewiness to it at all- just a crispy green cracker with toppings. While the pizza tasted pretty typical, it was the aftermath that got me. I'll spare the details and just say that I spent most of the evening in the bathroom afterwards, and leave it at that. I gave 2 stars for the cheesy garlic bread and the cool location. I won't be going back though, and would recommend that others go down the road to Blaze instead. They seem to have the better product. read more

Don't know what the high ratings are for?? I guess people in Temecula don't know what good pizza is. This definitely is not good pizza. Dough way to thin for my liking, plus was burnt on the bottom. Family owned and operated.... evident from the get go. Geared towards customer service and great food. I like the location. It is located on a very special piece of property that has been protected from modern city growth. It embraces the Old Town Temecula. Any ways back to pizza. A fixed price per pizza $8.99. The options for crust include Cilantro crust, which was very good. All are thin crust. They use a roller that punches holes in the dough after it is rolled out. Whatever that does, the crust is very GOURMET LIKE. The best I've had for thin crust. They use very generous mozzarella and tomato sauce portions, if you want to add more you can. My choices were pineapple , double garlic, artichoke, and double sun-dried tomatoes. I must say the tomato sauce had a very good flavor, Not bland at all. After I was served. I was offered Ranch on the side to add to my pizza. That is new for me. It was very very good Ranch dressing. And clearly homemade, yum! My overall review, A very good pizza! I will be back. Tried this place around 2pm on a Friday. Minimally busy, but the staff seemed inexperienced and very, very slow. Pretty stingy with the toppings, and only one person doing it meant that each person's topping process took 3-4 mins. The place lacks any sort of decor or consistent theme, and doesn't seem to really fit in with the hipster vibe of the shopping complex. Weirdly enough, my pizza actually tasted great, but the staff and speed of the process compared to other "Build Your Own Pizza" places makes me fear for their future. Hopefully they speed up and get more efficient, as the pizza did taste very fresh and was a good value. read more

I really like this place, beer is reasonably priced and the pizza is really good. Get the garlic butter! If you get pitcher and drink craft such as 805/ironfire/ballast point then it's a really good deal, pitcher is about 3 and 1/4 beer. The pizza cooks relatively fast. The workers tend to disappear when theres noone in line but it's a pizza place you dont need service besides maybe another beer. Great place to go if you dont eat meat like me. read more

Ordered a cheese pizza and they asked if I wanted toppings so I got added basil and once it was in the oven they charged me full price because I added basil. I wasn't aware that you can't do that because they asked me what I wanted to add on top. Normally a person would say the topping was on the house due to their mistake, but they still charged me. Total 5 star for me. Located in a small historical part of Temecula the venue takes you back 100 years. First impression CLEAN as we walked through the door. The menu was simple and delicious. Pizza was fresh and tasty, they have this gluten free diet pizza that I couldn't tell was any different. The service was friendly and the staff cared about your experience, it is owned by very hard working, very nice people. All good things. Suggestion to owner (because I will be coming back a lot) consider offering pitchers for us beer drinkers that don't want to wait in line to refill a glass every time. It will free up your staff. Just went here for the first time and the pizza was great. The location is little hard to find but worth the walk. You choose from three different crust and pick your sauce , toppings and they make it right in front of you. They weren't cheap with the toppings at all, they would put them on and ask if you would like more. The size of the pizza feed two adults no problem. The lunch special was a great deal $5.99 Mon-Thurs 11-2. Will make this a regular place for sure. read more

I want to like this place. The food was decent and the prices were good. I want a place like this to make it! I want to make a note to the owner or manager that while there for maybe 45 minutes, the same song played the entire time. I didn't know the song or especially like it but days later, it is still in my head and it makes me not really want to go back. It was kind of weird and almost depressing... kind of creepy. I must have caught them on a bad night. First and last time eating from here. I ordered delivery, 3 simple things- salad, wings, and a pizza. Over an hour later (supposed to be 30-40 minutes), I finally got food. The wings were very small, and very cold. The lettuce in the salad was good, but I'm guessing the produce used was older as the tomatoes were dry and wilting, the mushrooms were 'rubbery' and were also wilting with abnormal brown marks and brown coloring, the olives were ok, and the dressing was ok. The pizza- besides being cold, wasn't the pizza I ordered- it actually had nothing I could eat on it besides cheese. I can't have red sauce, regular crust, or pepperoni due to allergies- so the pepperoni pizza with heavy red sauce on what looked to be a regular crust was a waste of food. I reheated the wings- which made them dry, and had a little of the salad. After the week I had, I was so exhausted I decided to just order out so I could eat something before bed. I guess the universe was telling me I made a bad choice! To their credit- they did authorize grub hub to refund the pizza price, but I'm not sure why Grubhub or Vail didn't refund or discount the wings like I asked. Too bad I couldn't eat the refund for dinner. Even if they had offered to remake it and send it out, it would have been close to 9, and I won't eat that late when I have to go to bed early and work early the next day. Yay for a crappy week, with little sleep, and topped off with no dinner. read more

The best build your own pizza I've ever had. Their crust dough is the best tasting out there. Price is a little pricier than others but totally worth it! They have a small selection of beers. There are benches outside in the shades which makes family outings kinda nice. read more
