Saw V Pizza in the Raleigh Magazine and decided to check it out. We went to the Brier Creek location which has that new restaurant feel. Staff was welcoming as soon as we entered. Great the whole night. We sat at a high top towards the back and were able to see the nice patio shared with Flask. We ordered a couple of Old Fashion variations from the Flask menu and both were good. Ordered the small Cesar salad which was more than enough for two, very fresh and the dressing was exceptionally good. Now the pizza, which is why we are here! Very nice, not burnt as some describe and the center was nice and firm, not soggy. Not a heavy pizza which I appreciate. Sauce excellent and pepperoni had a nice kick. Definitely in our rotation now. Never would have known about it without the Raleigh magazine. Really worth the effort to check out.

Food was amazing - very fresh! Not pictured is my blackberry mojito which was super good as well. Ambiance outside area by the bar was perfect. Service was quick & staff was very friendly.

Great experience! Place was empty so service was prompt and food came out quickly. Everything ordered was delicious! All though they didn't have spinach for our veggie pizza and had to replace with arugula. The Mac and cheese though was AMAZING! Definitely coming back to try more options. A bit disappointed they didn't have garlic knots/bread. Overall a great place for a date or casual night out.

For a quick dinner this was good stop. We stop by to dine in and had the option to sit anywhere we wanted. The waiter came over immediately with waters and was ready to take our order. The pizza was so good and definitely fresh. I highly recommend the Mac & cheese which was so good. I will be back.

I'm so glad I finally got to visit V Pizza because they've been on my list for a while. I can absolutely see why people love them. I got the flying Hawaiian pizza and the dough was super fresh. I loved all the flavors and this unique spin on a Hawaiian pizza. I also got a small Caesar salad, which was fresh as well. There was a good amount of seating and not too busy on a Monday night. I'll absolutely be back to try more their menu items.

This location looks like a strip mall afterthought. Tables in a random room, drafty vents, not a whole lot of character compared to the Kildare location, and no bar. They do have beers, but very small selection from mostly their other restaurant in Raleigh, Flour and Barrel. Nothing I personally would drink, but too each their own. Pizza looks good, though. Also was pretty decent, piccante was nice and spicy

Unbelievable! The pictures on their website don't match up in what we received. Two slices didn't even have cheese nor basil at the price of $19. We had the caprese salad and it was only 4 slices at the price of $12. What a waste of money and our time. Not worth it.

Ugh next time FYI, I did leave a great review. Maybe it was an off day for them. Old sausage.

MAJOR UPDATE: From 5 Stars to 1 - The Fall from Grace! whoever worked on Sunday, needs to get done! Listen up, food fam! As someone who literally lived across from Little Italy in NYC and has spent 15 years in North Carolina, I've got some tea to spill about V Pizza in Brier Creek, and it's piping hot! ambience is always as beautiful as you expected! Y'all, I used to ride HARD for this place, but today's experience was more tragic than my ex's Instagram stories. Let me break down this horror show: First up: The Meatball Sub (no cheese) * Bestie, these meatballs were giving "been here since last season" vibes * Not even during closing time - this was FRESH badness * One bite and I was done faster than a TikTok trend * They really said "no refunds" like we're in 2005 The Sausage and Pepper Situation: * My cousin's face after one bite? More horrified than someone watching their text bubble disappear * The onions and peppers were serving "forgotten in the back of the fridge" realness * That plastic bag taste was stronger than my coffee this morning * The whole thing was giving "science experiment gone wrong" Look, I'm not trying to be that person who's always comparing everything to NYC (weird flex, I know), but this ain't it, chief. These subs were more disappointing than when your favorite show kills off the main character. Miss Rachel The onions and peppers? Looked like they were preserved from two weeks ago and were having a whole identity crisis in that plastic bag. The refrigerator taste was stronger than my mom's disapproval of my life choices. Bottom line: V Pizza went from "you need to try this" to "you need to run from this" real quick. This experience was more traumatic than my middle school photos. And that's on periodt. Save your coins, besties. This ain't the move anymore. And to V Pizza - my DMs are open if you want to know how to make a proper Italian sub. Just saying... ‍ P.S. - The audacity to serve this food and act like it's giving? Nah, we're not doing that in 2025.

Some of the best pizza in the area, great staff who truly care and the best part it's all consistent! Our family has been coming here since they opened and quickly realized this was our new go to pizza place in the area. The quality of the ingredients really helps to set a solid bedrock, but it's the creativity with the weekly specials and the solid staples that keep us coming back.

Delicious pizza! Somewhat expensive but worth it in my opinion. I can tell they use quality ingredients. I want to come back and try the wings, they look amazing!

The restaurant is nice and dimly lit with plenty of seating, but you will have to find street parking around Glenwood. We were a party of 6 and they pulled together tables to accommodate us. Our server was a little slow but still friendly. For starters we got a Margherita pizza, calamari, the grilled caesar, and they brought us a complimentary bread basket with oil. Everything except the caesar was good. I guess we didn't expect the caesar to taste THAT charred and the lettuce to not be chopped. For main entrees, we ordered lasagna, lobster ravioli, penne alla vodka, and alfredo. The vodka pasta and lasagna were unflavored and disliked among the table. I would not recommend those dishes. The alfredo was okay. The best dish was the lobster ravioli.

First of all, I implore anyone wanting to go, make reservations during peak hours! We entered through a big heavy wooden door into the quasi-dark atmosphere and were promptly seated, despite most of the tables being occupied. We were given a two top and started with chips and guacamole. I was impressed with the chips, they were a little extra thick, had tiny bubbles in them. Certainly a far departure from the typical thin, overly salty chip found at most restaurants and grocery stores. Excellent guac with a little pico and lime wedge on the side. I ordered the Baja bowl with shredded adobo chicken. The bowl had green rice, black beans, a whole lot of kale, tomatillo sauce, pickled red onions, crema, and cilantro. It needed a little more, so I added in some of the guac, a few chips I crumbled in my hands for some crunch, and some fresh lime juice. Noah did a good job keeping our water glasses full and he was quite friendly. However, the restroom situation is a bit difficult. There are two small unisex bathrooms, both of which have to be locked. There can't be more than one person in there at the same time, so plan accordingly. Granted, since there isn't much space in the restaurant, it's not as if they have a ton of options.

"Best Pizza" many years running back when that actually meant something. Now? It feels less like a restaurant and more like a nostalgic reenactment gone very wrong. The menu still reads like a dream--Carolina crust this, atomic sauce that--but ordering has become a real exercise in imagination. Half the ingredients are apparently on a spiritual journey and no longer physically present. You'll ask for sharp cheddar and get a thoughtful pause, followed by, "We don't have sharp cheddar, we might have a Wisconsin sharp cheddar?" --which, to their credit, has the word "cheddar" in it. The staff move with the energy of a group project that everyone forgot was due today. Pizzas emerge... interpretively. You might order a margherita and receive something that captures its essence, emotionally, if not structurally. It's less "wrong order" and more "pizza as a suggestion." A master of creative problem-solving, this cashier has boldly redefined the concept of "making change." Why fumble with buttons and math when you can simply hand over two beers and call it even? It's less of a transaction and more of a surprise gift exchange--one where the rules are unclear and the outcome is mildly concerning. And the wine list--oh, the wine list--is a beautiful historical document. A relic. A time capsule from at least six months ago, when bottles still existed and hope flowed freely. Now, asking for wine feels like asking about a long-lost friend. "We don't have that," they'll say, gazing into the middle distance. Still, there's something oddly annoying about it all. Like walking into a once-revered theater that still clings to its golden-age reputation. The performances feel like echoes rather than art, the lighting flat where it once dazzled, and every scene drags with the weight of trying to live up to a forgotten past. It's not bad enough to be a disaster--just disappointing enough to make you wonder if the hype was ever real or if you're just eating the ghost of someone else's great experience. Cheers!
