First time at V Pizza Brier Creek. Different atmosphere than V Pizza Cary -- more open and modern whereas Cary is cozy. We were the only people there early on a Sunday. Waiter was attentive. I ordered a GF Margherita and husband the Salsiccia. Both were delicious. I'm sure husband's crust was better but the quality of the toppings at V pizza totally overpowers a boring GF crust. Their tomato sauce and mozzarella is top notch -- absolutely amazing. We love V pizza -- look forward to visiting again. read more

At least the pizza tasted great. My dad and I ordered a three topping pizza for delivery. We paid 6.50 for a tip and the bill was $38 total with no delivery fee. So so let's say $31. We weren't asked for a size so we assumed it was gonna be big enough for two people. I could've ate more. We received but look like a medium pizza. It was 13 inches at its longest diameter. Again, it was delicious, but so very small for $31. Also, the website said that it's par cooked. and that we would have to cook it for another few minutes on 450 and that it wouldn't be cut. Well, it was cut so we were confused and assumed it didn't need to be heated anymore. So we ate it as is and it was cooked as far as we could tell.. But we'll never go there again. That's a ridiculous price for such a small pizza. We are new to the area so we're gonna keep looking. Stopped in for a weekday day lunch date. The staff was very nice. We both ordered drinks which were fine. We ordered original flavored wings and pizza. The chicken was good, only complaint is they were a little over cooked. But very pleasantly surprised on flavor and texture. 4's The pizza showed up to the party and did not disappoint! We are from St. Louis Mo. We like thin crust so we were looking forward to trying their version. Our waiter explained the middle can be soggy by way of their cooking methods But This was really good, I have a slight salt sensitivity but it wasn't salty from the meats at all. Very light, delicate, texture with the crispy crust! 5's Both were equally great and memorable. I will give them 4.5's and we will be back! I'd love to try other pizzas and wings! Not only did Ryan refund my order, he promised to make it better next time, asking me to contact him before my next order. Stopped by V Pizza today for lunch and as I told Ryan, the owner- I am IN LOVEEE!!!! V Pizza is a popular but hidden gem in Raleigh. With the location being right in Brier Creek, it doesn't sit on the strip but down across from Ale House near the Planet Fitness. They have an extensive menu that I can't wait to try more of, but today I opted for the Personal Cheese Pizza and the Cryin' Hawaiian Wings. Yall ! THE BEST PIZZA AND THE BEST WINGS EVER! I absolutely LOVE wings and these are TOP TIER! SOOOOO much flavor, the sweet and spicy combo is impeccable they even top the wings off with a roasted pineapple and a pepper . The Pizza was freshly made, in a wood oven the sauce was JUST right, not salty, not sweet as they don't add sugar to it. The Pizza was the right consistency and was amazing for it just be a cheese pizza If you made it this far, go get your keys and head on over. The owner Ryan is super nice and friendly. Which makes the experience even better with GREAT service! Also, they have a cocktail bar attached called Flask Cocktail Bar. Pizza, beer and cocktails- three of my favorite things. My husband and I started off with cocktails from Flask. Our waitress brought us a menu and grabbed those for us since they share building space and they were both fantastic. For food we started off with a side Italian salad (the ranch dressing was better than the balsamic) and a side Caesar salad. When my mom arrived we had a round of beers and split two pizzas, the Carnivora and Pizza Margherita - Classico. My mom and I also got a mini cannoli for dessert, it was the perfect way to end our meal. I am really liking this second V Pizza location. read more

Here are some of the menu items we had the pleasure if eating: The Signature Wings have fresh lemon, rosemary, garlic, EVOO and are topped with caramelized onions! So very fresh and flavorful! The Cryin' Hawaiian Wings are marinated in a sweet and spicy sauce made with honey, Calabrian pepper paste, roasted pineapple, brown sugar, nutmeg and fresh basil! These are definitely for those who like spice although it doesn't linger like other hot sauces! Very enjoyable and the mix of flavors are incredible! The Pesto Gouda Cavatappi (Mac-n-Cheese) is a great appetizer! Perfect size and the richness of the cheese sauces is delectable! The Flyin' Hawaiian Pizza is so far my absolute FAVORITE! So excited to have a V pizza nearby! We've been big fans of the Cary location, but having one in Brier Creek is much more accessible, so excited to make this a new regular spot. Highlights: -Tons of lot parking -Near all Brier Creek Shopping centers -Traditional style pizza comes out quick -The ingredients are all from Italy, so the food is super authentic and delicious -Super friendly and attentive staff -Lots of space, indoor and outdoor seating -Gelato!!! We had the mac attack pizza, and it was perfection. And more filling than you would expect, half a pizza and I was totally full from all the rich cheeses and tender pasta atop an amazingly crispy crust. Despite being totally full, I still tried my husbands calzone. Equally delicious. Excellent sausage and meatballs! Coming from up north we had been spoiled with great Italian food and North Carolina doesn't have many spots that meet our expectations, but this place blows it out of the water. I visited V Pizza for the first time this past weekend during the Grand Opening. I also enjoyed cocktails at their Flask Cocktail Bar beside the restaurant. I enjoy coal fire pizza and my favorite was the cauliflower crust on the meat lovers. The pesto was also very good. Very light crust and sauce that is not overly salty or sweet. The staff was extremely courteous and I enjoyed the patio seating as an option. I will definitely be back now that it's in my neighborhood. read more

Stumbled upon V Pizza by the rave reviews from friends and family around the Raleigh area. Being a pizza fanatic I had to check it out. Came on a Saturday night around 5:30/6 with a group of 8 we waited about 5 minutes for a table. Servers were welcoming and attentive. Onto the food..it is rare when I don't take a picture of the food. But everything looked mouth watering and I couldn't wait to get a taste. We order 3 pies to spilt; Ala Di Pollo, Carnivora and Delle Donne. These pies are big enough for 2-3 people to share. The Carnivora was my favorite. The red sauce, the wood fired dough, and the meats, all imported from Italy to give that authentic taste. I suggest you pay a visit. As for me I'll be daydreaming about my next slice until I visit again. read more

To be honest, this was the biggest disappointment I've had in a long time....I've had V Pizza on my list for a long time when it was in Cary and was so pumped one opened in Brier Creek, which is close to me. First, the vibe of the restaurant is just meh. I wasn't going to count that against them, because I think it was just different than I expected. Everything else though...was highly disappointing. I went there with my partner and another couple. We ordered drinks at the bar next door that is associated with V Pizza. I won't review the bar or drinks here, but I'd go there again! We then brought our drinks over to the V pizza part since there were no open tables in the bar. First, the service was not good. I was a server for many years so try to be understanding and I rarely say service is bad....and it was bad. Our waitress forgot things, never checked on us, and there were food runners/hostess type people that checked on us more. We asked for soft drinks and waters and she either forgot or didn't bring them, someone else checked on us like 15 minutes later and got us drinks, and then she brought them. Each couple ordered 10 wings, we got the signature and the other couple got Hawaiian. We're 90% sure one of the orders only has 9 wings, we didn't say anything in case we miscounted because we shared with each other. Both wings were disappointing. We all like charred wings but these were burnt. I also don't think I liked the sauces but it's hard to tell because of how burnt tasting everything was. My partner and I ordered the Buffalo chicken pizza with no Gorgonzola and the other couple ordered the Dello Donne. Ours came with Gorgonzola, which we just decided not to say anything because we knew how long it would take to make another one. To our waitress' defense, the check did say no Gorgonzola, so that was the kitchen's fault. The pizzas were good, but not worth the price in my opinion. Overall, super sad. I had the pleasure of ordering takeout from here tonight. The food was absolutely incredible, a perfect temperature, and exactly what we ordered. It feels like more often that not these days what you order isn't always what you get, but that certainly was not the case with V Pizza. Additionally, Emily helped me with my order and she was equally as incredible! She was extremely kind, welcoming, and considerate. She offered to bag the warm items separately from the cold so they didn't affect one another which is something I've rarely been offered when getting take out. She was patient with me as I tried different gelato flavors. It's also very rare these days to experience great customer service like she provided tonight. DISAPPOINTING! Our first experience with V Pizza and we ord'rd the Flyin' Hawaiian on Sun @ 6pm at the Briar Creek area. We are only 10" min away, we used our red pizza insulated bag for the trip, then placed it on the heated stone. NOTHING could revive this pizza. Awful. Whole thing dry, burnt more than needed, so tough that each piece took pulling for ea bite. There was definitely signs of mentioned ingredients but barely visible. We will try the Cary location at a similar time and hope tonight's pizza was a fluke! read more

Stopped in for v pizza for lunch this week and the location is very tucked away within brier creek and has a nice outdoor patio! I think the outdoor space is actually a nicer than the inside and will be perfect for summer. I ordered the lunch size vegetarian pizza. It tasted really really good however there were a few issues with it. Despite the outer crust being crispy, the inside of the pizza was completely soggy so I could barely pick it up. It was very drippy as well. I think it was a combination of too thin crust and wet ingredients piled in the middle. The grape tomatoes were not small enough and kept rolling off my pizza. They should have been sliced or cut into smaller chunks. And finally, the garlic on the pizza was really thickly chopped so even though it was good, it overpowered certain bites. Also very little cheese! The crust in pictures on their site looks like an authentic Sicilian style bubbly crust but it was flat and flavorless.
