We have been eating there for the past 6 years and never had a bad experience until today. 19.99 for a eggplant rollatini and this sorry excuse for a 8.00 capris salad. No lettuce and hardly any of the ingredients that it's stated in their menu.

Pizza was surprising good, with just the right amount of char on the crust. Only wish we had ordered one to go for late night!

I ordered mine on pressed focaccia bread and everything from the juicy crispy chicken to the parmesan cheese and toppings was top notch. Each of the flavors and textures played so well together that it's hard to stop eating after taking the first bite. Came on a Monday around 1pm and there was no line. Inside the shop was a classic deli where you order at the counter and then browse the various goods/merch while you wait. Service was fast and the sandwiches came out within 5 minutes of ordering. There are a couple picnic tables outside to sit and eat but other than that, mostly a to-go place. First timers: get the Uncle Primo's, you won't regret it!

I got half an uncle primos chicken cutlet sandwich ($11). It was a lot of food and was loaded with chicken! Even just the half sandwich was too much for me to eat at once. While it was tasty, I did feel like it was missing something, and personally didn't find it to be worth the wait. But if the line were shorter in the future I'd come back and try other yummies from the menu.

I'm only writing this review because I drove all over the place looking for it, couldn't find it, searched all their socials and came up empty. I'm hoping, if they are still around, they see this and maybe sort their stuff out so that anyone can find them to get food.

Even though he was neutered, every now and then he would get that look in his eye and promptly attach himself to your leg. You'd try to shake him off and he would be super-velcro'ed onto your limb, hanging on for dear life with lust in his doggie heart... But I digress. So yeah, the Baguettaboutit food truck... Baguettaboutit is based out of Chapel Hill so it's not a frequent visitor to Raleigh. I chased it down to Cary Crossroads and stopped in for a quick lunch. The truck looks brand spankin' new, bright royal blue and they have paper bags out front to mark up your order. I ordered up the Jersey Turnpike, sausage with red pepper sauce which took about 5+ minutes. Along with a bag o' chips and drink, we're talking about $8.50 which isn't bad. The Baguettaboutit sandwich is a pretty thing. Flour-dusted baguette with a thick sausage end peeping out (Flopsy!). And it's a tasty lunch, high-quality meat and crusty French bread. The red pepper sauce was creamy and decently flavored. By the time you work your way to the end of the sandwich, we're talking 3 - 4 inches of crusty bread and sauce left over, but still yum. Don't think there were any napkins available at the truck which would help a bit. For a first visit I was definitely impressed, I'll have to work my way through the rest of their baguette specials, six in total. Baguettaboutit puts out a solid sandwich that's perfectly portable and better than what you'd get from a Subway or Quizno, 3.5 stars. So I'm really looking forward to my next visit, if I can just only shake that image of my dog out of my head. One thing for sure, I'm not ordering ANY Baguettaboutit sandwiches with alfredo sauce, guaranteed...

And just like the true southerner I am, I chose the potato salad as my side. I work close by, so I called ahead & was told 20 minutes. When I arrived in 10 minutes, my order was waiting on me. However, because it was lunch time, there was a line, sadly one I had to wait it. Thankfully, I only waited about five minutes & was able to pay & be on my way. The restaurant is cheery & employees seemed happy to be there. The place was hopping, so that was a good sign this place serves up tasty goodness. I returned to work & ate my sandwich & potato salad. The potato salad had red potatoes in it, with the skin still on - not what I'm used to, but still ok. It tasted mustard & mayo based, which I love those two together. The bahn mi was quite delicious with a simple slaw, pork, cucumbers, & Asian dressing. The pork was tender & spicy. The baguette was decent. For the portion size, the price of $8.61 was fine with me. With such variety on the menu, I'll definitely be back. Parking wasn't much of an issue, even though there are many businesses/restaurants in this area.

This is a typical RTP lunch spot that will be super busy during prime lunch hours. Luckily parking is plentiful in this complex. You walk in and find bright green walls and the line to order is to your left. The menu is just a paper menu and it is a sandwiches, wraps and salads type of fare. I went for the Chicken Philly Sub with a soda of chips and a drink, which comes out close to $12. The sub itself failed to impress as it just had strips of grilled chicken on it and it lacked flavor. Moreover, it was really just a half sub so the size given the price was disappointing. They do have a hot sauce station like Firehouse Subs, so I used that to jazz up my meal. The restaurant was clean, but the staff didn't really speak much when interacting at the register or when bringing the food to your table. In fact when ordering I was the only person in line and waited a few mins for someone to take my order. When I asked to add jalapenos, still no words uttered, just a push of a button and a blank look on the employee's face. Regardless, I will give this place another chance as other menu items did look appealing. Perhaps just an off day...I hope.

Food: (1st visit) South of the border wrap with brown derby chopper salad 5/5. I ate it all!! The salad was fresh and a mix of the perfect amount of ingredients. The wrap was thiccc and chicken was juicy and hot (temp)! (2nd visit) I got the special of the day: which was a burger with the spinach salad 5/5. Again the salad was amazing could've made it better myself. I'm not sure what was better the burger itself or bun...burger was hefty and juicy with a slight taste of the summer nostalgic grill char and the bun was soft and forgiving but firm in the right places to hold everything together. Beverage: 5/5 I got the Sweet Iced Tea which was good but then did a 70/30 mix with lemonade and that was banging! The lemonade was a fountain drink, tea made in house. Dessert: I might be addicted to those brownies man! That's a don't eva skip! Total Price with Tip: Expect to spend at least 20 dollars for lunch, beverage, and dessert. Ambiance: Nice vibes, really cool art, highly utilized small space. Special shoutout to the pot mixer (bread knead mixer repurposed as plant pottery) Perfect for lunch! I did not use the bathroom, but I believe it's offered in the back. Fullness Level: 6/5. Parking: Highly accessible Highly recommend this place and the story is great! Check her out yall!
