Delicious pizza!!!! We ordered a Supreme and Cheese pizza- fabulous! We also ordered pasta but we're tofull to eat it tonight. It looks and smells amazing!

Update: get the large pizza slices!!!!! We've been ordering these the past few times, and they are delicious!! HUGE slices, thin and crispy crust (great to fold!!!), and seasoned well. Pizza slices are 10/10.

It's hard to distinguish the restaurant from its restroom. 25 minutes for a for-here pizza when it is not busy at all.

Clean, welcoming pizza shop with staff that treat you like a long-lost relative. Prices are higher than I like but the serving size makes up for it.

Stopped in for a quick bite. It's your typical hole-in-the-wall pizzeria that reminds me a lot of the small no-frills ones you'd find in NYC. The food was good and the guy behind the counter was professional.

Craving Italian food, but not sure what I was hungry for, I found Devil's Pizzeria where they have a Vegetarian Sampler bowls. So, so good. I also nabbed the fried ravioli. I asked for ranch instead of marinara for dipping. I was happy when I opened the container at home to see the ranch! Finally I devoured the chocolate dipped cannoli! I haven't tried the pizza, but I highly recommend Devil's for the pasta!

I got the meatball calzone and was not disappointed. It was $12 and a ton of food. It was a walk up counter so nothing crazy for environment or service, but that's what I expect for a to-go pizza shop.

Outstanding pizza. Good fried mushrooms and decent parking curbside. I often think of this place as I remember good food I've had.

Devil's is the best, most reliably good, restaurant on 9th Street. A solid NYC vibe joint with hardworking staff who always deliver.

The staff was pretty slow and rude. The lady with the red colored hair had a ugly attitude when we asked about the situation with our pizza.

"Sandwich shop just off University Dr in Durham"…read more Came here for an evening dinner with a friend. We arrived around 5:45pm, and there was ample parking, but I will say the place was HOPPING by the time we left at 6:30pm. The decor is very cute-- old-style, good seating and a bar area as well. You order at the table, and food comes to you. My dining mate got the Cypriot (Halloumi, Fig, Arugula, Tomato, Pesto) with a side of curly fries, and I wasn't very hungry so I got the Beyond Meat Chicken Tenders kids meal with a side salad. I also got a delicious bottled sparkling lemonade. Service was fine-- food comes after order, but you're mostly on your own once food is delivered, as expected. We got a couple of napkins with the food, but there are more self-serve up in the counter. Just don't expect someone to check on you or anything. The food was GREAT. My dining partner loved her sandwich (commented especially on the fig spread) and fries, and I really liked my meal as well. The side salad was surprisingly delicious, especially the addition of pickled red onion. The place was clean-- I went to the restroom, too, and everything was stocked well. Price was very fair. Overall, I'd happily come back. Easy, priced well, delicious. Not a place where you get a lot of "attention", but great for a simple meal.

The only things I didn't love were the parking and the service. Parking was weirdly tight and difficult to navigate. The folks working were efficient but not overly friendly. Well that's exactly what happened when we visited Mr. Cheesesteaks in Durham on yesterday. Mr. Cheesesteak is a food truck that now has a brick and mortar as of June 2020! If you're looking for a delicious lunch on today or if you want to take something home to munch on for dinner later tonight, we recommend Mr. Cheesesteak. Their prices are amazing as their cheesesteaks are under $10 and they are GINORMOUS! The sandwiches are packed with meat and cheese and the bread is so fresh. Pictured here is the beef cheesesteak and the chicken Philly cheesesteak. Both sandwiches are jam packed with fresh clean meats, yummy cheese and veggies! And let's not forget their lemon pepper wings! To wash all that down we grabbed one of their sour slushy's which gave us a brain freeze that was well worth it! A1 Gyro and Philly, a food truck that serves lamb gyro, Philly cheesesteaks, burgers, and grilled…read morechicken sandwiches, came to a neighborhood in Carrboro, NC today, and as a lamb gyro enthusiast, I decided to buy a couple (1 for my girl). I was the only customer, and the friendly Middle Eastern guy in the food truck asked what I wanted: 2 gyro wraps. He asked if I wanted to add hot sauce to my gyros with tzatziki sauce, and I said, "Yes". I asked him where the food truck is based, he said that he goes to different locations, and didn't mention a permanent location. I checked the address here on Yelp and it says it's based in Durham, NC, which is not too far from here. Each gyro wrap cost $12, and my total came up $26+ (I assume with tax included). I was about to pull out $25 cash but after he said total, I pulled $30, and he said not to worry about it. I insisted to give the $30 and he gave a $5 change. I guess I got a $1 discount. He finished cooking both gyros in about 12 min., a bit longer than I expected, considering I was the only customer he was serving at that time. The gyro wraps were served inside a small paper bag, and wrapped in aluminum foil. I was quite surprised at the size of the order for 2 gyros. When I opened my gyro wrap, the size looked regular yet a bit smaller that what I had in last October's State Fair, which was fine, considering the State Fair gyro (which came with side of Greek fries) cost me $18+. However, unlike that State Fair gyro, I did not enjoy A1's main specialty. I would have to agree with what the previous reviewer Renee said, "Onions does not make a Gyro make". I love onions but not too much on my Gyro; this one is loaded with so much onions, lettuce, and tomato to the point that it's drowning the flavors of tzatziki sauce and hot sauce (Did he forget to put it?). The amount of lamb gyro meat didn't seem to justify its $12 price; it's not even spiced well, and the mush of ingredients to hide the fact that it's lacking meat just looked as bad as it tasted. That's not even the worst part. When I ate the gyro wrap, the pita bread tasted soggy, and that unpleasant texture and taste were more emphasized on every bite than the lamb gyro. I was not able to finish it; and just threw my leftover away. As I'm writing this review, my girl hasn't eaten her gyro wrap yet, and I haven't told her what I thought so she could judge by herself. We recently enjoyed an $11+ gyro in Kebab Skewer in Cary, and a $12+ chicken + lamb over rice at Tasty Halal Eats food truck in Morrisville, NC (both I reviewed here on Yelp), and I'm sad to say that A1's gyro wraps were nowhere close to the food quality of those foods and the State Fair gyro I mentioned earlier. The food truck's friendly customer service and 99% Sanitation Score are the only positive things I could say about this food truck. A1's gyro is clearly the opposite of what "A1" means. Overall Score: 1.1/5
