We went for trivia night and was pleasantly surprised about the pizza, drinks, and crowd. Team Forced Fun will be back again soon!

Food is not bad and staff is absolutely amazing always. The place itself is always clean and very well kept. Only complaint is food is way overpriced for what it is, but no fault of the floor staff

Small house salad.

I'd only been here in the past for pizza. Earlier this year we did take out pasta when I was sick at home recovering from surgery and that was very good. Today we came by for my spouse to try a slice of the Sicilian pizza, which was sizeable. She really liked it along with a very plentiful side salad. I had two slices of the meat and roasted veggie pizza that was so good. One slice would have been enough, but sometimes the eyes are bigger than the stomach!

After years of driving by and saying that I would try this "sometime," I finally went! And boy, I am so glad I did! It's tough to find gluten-free pizza that's decent, both in taste and in price, but Tomato Jake's knocks it out of the park! A good friend of mine has Celiac's, so we have to be pretty careful, so we were wonderfully surprised with the care, attention, and knowledge Jake showed. After chatting with him for a bit, we found out that he's been offering gluten-free crust options for about 12 years because he has a family member with Celiac's. And they're from a local bakery--win-win! Gluten-free options come in both 10" and 14", so splitting a pizza is definitely an option! Specialty pizza options ROCK, and they have reasonably-priced drinks as well. We came here for dinner and drinks with coworkers on Friday night, and everyone left feeling super satisfied. We'll definitely be back!

Came on a Saturday early afternoon with a party of 6. Because of its location at a mall strip, there was plenty of parking spots. First thing I noticed was that they have a big outdoor dining area. I ordered the Steak out sub (7 in) Ambiance: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Ended up waiting for over 15 min for our food. That was much longer than a typical wait for a sub place but it may have been because my party also ordered a pizza and the food came out at the same time Food 4/5: The sub was good. I was pleasantly surprised that their bread was toasted and not dry. The ingredients also seemed fresh. Overall, it's a 4/5, a decent place to grab a family lunch.

Calzone

I'm conflicted about this one. The pizza was really good - the dough was chewy, the sauce was bursting with flavor and not watery at all (I hear they make this in house), and the fresh melty mozzarella was delicious. I just think $15 for a 10" pizza is overpriced, and would rather buy single slices next time. The calzone was a much bigger portion size, dough was just as good and I loved the roasted pepper filling :) I also sprinkled some Parmesan and chili flakes for an extra kick. When we visited we found people playing texas poker at a larger table in the back, seems like a nice place to hang out and relax after work.

"Sandwich shop just off University Dr in Durham"…read more Came here for an evening dinner with a friend. We arrived around 5:45pm, and there was ample parking, but I will say the place was HOPPING by the time we left at 6:30pm. The decor is very cute-- old-style, good seating and a bar area as well. You order at the table, and food comes to you. My dining mate got the Cypriot (Halloumi, Fig, Arugula, Tomato, Pesto) with a side of curly fries, and I wasn't very hungry so I got the Beyond Meat Chicken Tenders kids meal with a side salad. I also got a delicious bottled sparkling lemonade. Service was fine-- food comes after order, but you're mostly on your own once food is delivered, as expected. We got a couple of napkins with the food, but there are more self-serve up in the counter. Just don't expect someone to check on you or anything. The food was GREAT. My dining partner loved her sandwich (commented especially on the fig spread) and fries, and I really liked my meal as well. The side salad was surprisingly delicious, especially the addition of pickled red onion. The place was clean-- I went to the restroom, too, and everything was stocked well. Price was very fair. Overall, I'd happily come back. Easy, priced well, delicious. Not a place where you get a lot of "attention", but great for a simple meal.

The only things I didn't love were the parking and the service. Parking was weirdly tight and difficult to navigate. The folks working were efficient but not overly friendly. Maybe they had an off day; it happens. Even so, I'd go back- the food was worth it and again- lots of fantastic choices.

"Great deli-style sandwiches, from rather hidden location on Chapel Hill Rd"…read more Came by here on a Saturday. This place is REALLY hard to find... it's behind the State Farm building, but there's barely any signage from the street. (Note: some photos here in Yelp seem to be from an older location.) We actually came one Saturday, but it was unexpectedly closed, but we caught them the following one, so good to call and confirm before driving over. You walk up to a door on the back, and scan a QR code to see the menu. Then knock on/ open the door and someone will come to take your order. Then you wait outside and they bring you your sandwiches. The lady who took our order was very friendly. The kitchen was rather large, so I suspect it's used for more than just this business. We ordered two turkey subs-- the East New York (which was slightly spicy) and the Dumbo. Wait time was maybe 7-10 minutes or so. Both sandwiches came nicely wrapped, and I think total cost was a little over $20. And conveniently, they take Apple Pay. These were not your Subway or Quiznos sandwiches-- these were DELICIOUS pressed sandwiches (we got them on focaccia. I personally liked the Dumbo the best-- it had a nice mix of flavors that meshed well. The East New York was solid and had a nice spiciness, but not quite as exciting overall. Would I come back? Probably, but since there's no seating, and it's a bit awkward, maybe not the first place I'd think to try, but again, the sandwiches were REALLY good. I do think it may be excellent for catering or for getting picnic sandwiches though.

First of all, the bread is soft and has a nice bite, holds the juices of a sandwich well and was fresh. I got the Cobble Hill sandwich and the turkey was really good. Also the size is amazing for the price. When you get there, it feels like you're in the wrong place or entering in the wrong way, but you're not. I asked if this was the sandwich spot and a young man took my order and made my sandwich within 5 min. And there is enough parking behind the State Farm building to pull up and get your sandwich I can't wait to go back and try the Italian and cheesesteak sandwiches.

We've been on the hunt for a good cheesesteak and she had this place on her radar for a while, so it was the perfect time to check this place out. There were so many options and choices that it took me a little bit of time to finally make a decision. I went with the wall town cheesesteak. It comes with a load of stuff! The steak of course... then you got Cajun sausage, fried onions, bacon with provolone cheese, and chipotle mayo. Then, fries on top of it as well? Oh my! This thing was so fresh and so good! They don't skimp you on the toppings, you definitely get an everything that you are supposed to on it on every bite. We also got an order of the garlic Parmesan cheese fries. They also tasted very good. I think hand cut fries are my favorite type to eat. They go very well with cheesesteaks, so I appreciate them having these. Only took about 15 minutes for everything to come out, which I thought was pretty good based off of the amount of people that were there. My suggestion... order yourself a whole cheesesteak. I saved the other half after our initial visit for lunch the next day. I was so happy that I did that. You'll thank me later. Check this place out, it's worth your time to go check them out.

We wanted to try for lunch, but that's not possible, and then we wanted to try on a Monday, but that didn't work out either. Anyway, we finally placed an online pickup order for a Saturday dinner. We tried a surf and turf (steak and shrimp) with cheese and onions- we paid extra for peppers but they left those off. We also tried a chicken, bacon and cheddar, which I liked better. We also got an order of lemon pepper fries. The restaurant was clean and fresh when we went in to pick up our food. I liked the retro vibes of the tables. The food was hot and tasty, but I wish they were open for lunch because I like to eat a little healthier at dinner.
