Greek Salad

Pizza anyone? Coming into Brenz for the first time to try out their pizzas and had no idea there were so many options. Place is clean with an open window and a bit of seating, but not enough. I noticed a lot of people picking up their pizzas to go and this might be why. Service was great. We were given a few options to try. We went for the chicken wings, a large 16" cheese pizza, a 14" half spicy Hawaiian and ATM (all the meats), a small Greek salad and the Cinnazos for dessert. We had plenty to sample. The pizzas were delicious and I would definitely come back to try different options. The wings, the Greek salad and the cinnazos were okay but nothing to rave about. I would say I am not a fan of how they cut their pizza in squares but that's a preference choice and it doesn't affect the yummy taste. This is still a great option for pizza.

My husband and I visited Chapel Hill over Father's Day weekend. This is the best pizza I've had!!!

I've had very good experiences with Brenz Pizza. The food was hot, tasty, and prepared to the specs that I requested. They will get my business again. Great for a group order also as I have done this for work several times. This time I ordered a chef salad and sweet heat wings. Both very good. Had pizzas in the past which were just as good.

I found this pizza spot through a Yelp search. I became excited to try this place out after looking over the menu. I was intrigued by the Spinach Artichoke pizza. So, I talked a friend into joining me in a visit this place. Kai was very friendly when answering my questions about menu options. She has a great personality and is knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered the Caesar salad and the Spinach Artichoke pizza. Both items were flavorful and full of ingredients. The location offers some seating options for customers who wish to eat on-site. The decor is minimal, but the space is clean. This a great pizza spot. I'm positive that Leonardo, Michelangelo, Raphael and Donatello would approve.

I've been here once and it was sooo good, kinda expensive but it's worth spending the money. Service was quick and the vibe inside is like really any other pizza place but I would highly recommend. I forgot to take a picture of the pizza but the boxes and pretty big and we also got the breadsticks and they were as well!

Whew Chile! I was in town for business and decided to check this place out. I was skeptical going in, but I should know to trust the reviews of my fellow Yelpers. I ordered the rustic pizza and side Caesar salad. Everything. Was. On. Point! The salad has bacon in it (an issue for some but not I) and the cheese and baby croutons with the dressing were delicious. The pizza was fantastic, with the various root veggies, sauce, and sausage. Am 8 inch was enough for me, and I was full afterwards. The inside is like a typical pizza place with bar stools and regular seating. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because they weirdly have no ice machine!

The only times I have ordered from Brenz were on nights when they have a special deal with our apartment complex for half off which happened around once or twice a year and we definitely took advantage of it! It is a bit pricey without the deal, so i usually dont order it. But on deal nights my roommates and I would order personal pizzas and wings for ourselves to last us the whole week haha. They can get pretty busy during those nights but we just order online and then go pick it up ourselves. There's usually still a bit of a wait when we get there but not awful. The wings here are HUGE and I get the hot honey sauce every time. My spice tolerance is pretty low but the sauce is not very spicy so they are perfect for me! I think I've tried every one of their award winning pizzas (and they have a lot which is impressive in itself!) but my personal favorite is still the heritage honey (i really love honey lol)!

Really phenomenal pizza. This place has some pretty thick slices, but I wouldn't say that they are doughy at all. Despite the width, they are easy to bite through and don't leave you feeling like it was all bread. The toppings and sauce were both really well done and something that I really enjoyed were the sweet accents to the pizza. Both slices that I ordered weren't too salty, and the onions and honey drizzle worked really well to create a well rounded pizza. Also when I went, there was only one lady working, but despite being by herself, she was able to handle our order as well as all other orders well. Highly suggest you check this place out.

Pretty good pizza. Doughy and crispy at the same time. Crust is nice and good amount of cheese. Got pineapple and pepperoni with spicy sauce (wasn't spicy). Wish they would've put more pepperoni, didn't have much. Personal size was pretty small so would order a bigger one next time.

What is the artichoke sauce like? What all is in it?

It is very tasty. Its base is our creamy ranch dressing with artichoke, garlic, and white pepper. Those are the key ingredients. The Spinach Artichoke pizza it comes on is awesome. Olive oil (no red sauce), cheese, chicken, artichoke hearts,…

Everyone really goes out of their way to deliver the best service and even better meals! This particular trip I had the pleasure of being served by Kaylah. Kaylah was absolutely wonderful! At the time of writing this review, Yelp's average rating for this Chopt location is 3.5 stars (92 reviews) so it's pretty spot-on, in my opinion. If you're in the mood for salad, this place suffices. While Chopt isn't bad, I wouldn't put it among my favorite salad bars/greens and grains bowls restaurants. For example, in Chapel Hill, I like nearby CAVA better for both taste and portion size: https://www.yelp.com/biz/cava-chapel-hill-3. Currently, in the Triangle, there are three Chopt locations: this one in Chapel Hill and two in Raleigh. This Chapel Hill location opened in June 2017. The chain has been around since 2001 and has locations up and down the East Coast. This was our first visit to any location. I'm pretty sure the business is named Chopt because they literally chop your salad as part of the ordering process. The setup is fast-casual, like a Chipotle, with fresh, customizable ingredients selected and placed into your bowl upfront, then chopping with dressing applied and bread added, and then payment. Drinks, eating utensils, napkins, condiments, etc. are self-serve. During our visit, Chopt had several salads with preset ingredient combinations priced around $8-12 each. There were seasonal offerings and warm bowls too. My wife got one of the Chopt Classic salads and I got a Warm Bowl. Everything on the menu was low-calorie. I've got to hand it to Chopt for keeping it healthy, something very rare for restaurants. Salads ranged from as little as 245 calories (Sesame Ginger Crunch, $9.89) to 715 calories (Harvest, $10.99). My wife had the Santa Fe (450 calories, $8.99) with grilled chicken added (+$2.99). The Santa Fe came with avocado, grape tomatoes, corn, Pepper Jack cheese, crispy shallots, and romaine lettuce with Sweet & Smoky Chipotle Vinaigrette dressing. I had the Mediterranean warm bowl (610 calories, $10.49). The Mediterranean came with warm grains or cauliflower rice (I chose warm grains) with Lemon Tahini Dressing, roasted chicken, cucumber and tomato salad, local feta cheese, Mama Lil's spicy peppers, cabbage and cilantro blend, and crispy chickpeas with a House Vinaigrette. At the end of the chopping and mixing process, we were both asked if we wanted bread. We both said yes. In general, I thought the salads were A-OK. All of the ingredients were fresh and overall, the salads were flavorful and satisfying enough. I will say these salads didn't leave me feeling as full as other salad/bowl restaurants, but those other restaurants typically serve more (calories) at more cost. So, if you're trying to diet or eat healthy, I do think Chopt is a fine option. We dined in for dinner and while we didn't feel hungry leaving the restaurant, we could have gone out for dessert somewhere. We ended up having mango sticky rice later that evening. I thought the salads were crisp and well-balanced. The half-slices of bread were tasty. I'm not sure what kind of bread Chopt uses. It's marketed as "Artisan Bread." Speaking of which, there was a sign inside the dining room that listed the restaurant's "Local Partners & Favorite Artisans." For example, the cucumbers, cabbage, and grape tomatoes were all local to North Carolina, the onions came from Georgia, and meat like beef and bacon came from South Carolina. My wife's Santa Fe bowl was served in a clear plastic container and my Mediterranean warm bowl was served in a compostable paper container, presumably because it was warm. All orders are designed for takeout, which is what I observed most customers do during our stay. The dining room was modern, spacious, and clean. They have an uncovered patio with umbrella-covered tables too. Chopt is located in the Eastgate Crossing shopping center on the northeast side of Chapel Hill. Same shopping center as Trader Joe's, two doors down from Chipotle, on 15-501 (the Fordham Blvd stretch of 15-501). Service was good from everyone. Chloe P checked us out. When we visited, Chopt was doing a two-week free delivery deal. Something to consider.

Will & Well is a great addition to Boxyard if you're looking for a fresh salad, grain bowl, or…read moresmoothie option. The setup is counter service, with a handful of premade salads and bowls on the menu, or you can build your own. The build-your-own option starts at $12.99 and includes your base, five toppings, one crunchy/dry topping, and dressing. Proteins are extra and range from about $4.25-$6.50, with options including tofu, shrimp, chicken, steak, and tuna. I opted for a build-your-own bowl with chicken, which came out to just under $20 before tip. At first, that felt a little pricey to me, but the portion size was absolutely massive. Honestly, it was large enough to easily make two meals, which made the value feel much better. The woman helping me was incredibly friendly and even let me sample three different dressings before deciding. I also appreciated that you can get your dressing on the side if you prefer. All 3 I tried were good, but all very different, and I'm glad I had a chance to try them! One thing to note is that it was fairly warm inside the business, which gave me a little pause considering it's a salad-focused concept. That said, everything tasted fresh and high quality. There were only two employees working during my visit on a Wednesday around 6:30, and with about 4-5 people ahead of me, it took around 20 minutes to place my order, get my bowl made, and check out. The staff was working hard, and being incredibly helpful, but if you're in a hurry, just plan accordingly. Overall, I'd definitely return. It's nice to have a quality salad option at Boxyard, the ingredients were fresh, the portions were generous, and the service was helpful and kind. Just be prepared that there may be a bit of a wait and to spend around $20 if you're adding protein (but you can easily share or make two meals from it!!!) My picture doesn't do the size justice I promise!

The salad was coated with just the amount of dressing and the sweet potatoes on the salad were a special treat, making the salad both unique and delicious! The hibiscus juice was refreshing and not syrupy sweet like many juices from other establishments. I will definitely be back to try other salads!

It's a casual, order-at-the-counter spot, and the person working, who may have been the owner, was incredibly kind and helpful. He took the time to explain the menu since it was our first visit. Basically, you choose your base, such as rice, fries, salad, or a sandwich, then choose your protein, including chicken, gyro, falafel, or a combination. Everything comes with a veggie mix that you can customize and three sauces, which you can also get on the side. We ordered the fries with chicken and gyro and the rice with chicken. We left the onions off the veggies and got the sauces on the side for one dish. The white sauce and green sauce were phenomenal. The hot sauce is definitely hot and gives everything a great kick, although it was a little smokier than I personally prefer. We also added tzatziki and a side of pita, which was fresh and delicious. The portions were HUGE. The two meals were enough for both of us to eat lunch, have them again for dinner, and still have leftovers. With two fountain drinks, I believe our total was around $45, which felt incredibly reasonable for the amount of food and how fresh everything tasted. Great food, huge portions, reasonable prices, and genuinely wonderful service. We really enjoyed it and will absolutely be back!
