    Dirty Jersey (favorite!!!!)

Came in town to visit my daughter. Of course we wanted to come back here. We had been in winter and wanted the out door experience. This place has the best outdoor seating. Big screen to watch FIFA, lots of picnic tables around the yard with big trees for shade. There is also upstairs out door deck with lots picnic tables, big screen TV and water stations. The grounds are very clean and kept up. They are dog friendly too. Immediately head inside to get beers. They always a very wide variety for all taste buds. You have to order their wood fire pizzas! Dirty Jersey is A-mazing. Sweet and hot and spicy ranch make it perfect harmony. We are always greeted with a Hello, welcome in, what can I get ya with a smile. The staff is very friendly inviting and treat everyone like they are regulars. Love love this place and only wish there was one in KY. This place gets a 1000% must go and return.

If you're hunting for that perfect combo of good beer, chill vibes, and tasty eats, Ponysaurus Brewing Co. absolutely delivers. I dropped by with some friends while in town for a concert and, honestly, it's everything you want in a local brewery. The atmosphere was relaxed and festive, the whole patio was decked out in Christmas lights, making it feel super cozy even though it was a bit chilly. Huge bonus points for the fire pits outside! We snagged a spot right by one and it quickly became the ideal spot to hang out, laugh, and enjoy the night. Beer-wise, I started with their pilsner and I'd happily order it again. Crisp, refreshing, and easy to drink, a solid choice if you want something light but flavorful while you try all the great food on the menu. Speaking of the menu, do not miss their pizza. We ordered the Dirty Jerzy and... wow. Melty cheese, salty pepperoni, just the right punch from roasted garlic, a drizzle of spicy ranch and honey, topped with chili flakes. It's that perfect sweet, spicy, savory combo. Easily a 10/10 and probably one of the best pizzas I've had at a brewery. We also got a classic Caesar salad which balanced things out nicely, fresh, crisp, with the right tang from the dressing. Bottom line: Ponysaurus is a must-visit if you're after laid-back vibes, good beer, and seriously great pizza. Perfect for groups, date night, or just hanging on the patio with friends. Looking forward to my next visit (and another slice of that Dirty Jerzy)!

Ponysaurus has awesome pizzas and drinks. I have been multiple times, but yesterday was my first time trying their food! My friends and I got the cheesy bread, the margherita pizza, and a build-your-own with mushrooms and sausage. The pizza was hot, crispy, and the crust was not too thick. I will definitely be back for their food! The drinks here are all excellent as well. I don't love super sweet drinks but enjoyed their mango guava wit- it was a good balance of dry and flavorful.

I loved Ponysaurus in Wilmington so had to try another location. This one didn't have as large of a selection but what we tried was great. The large patio would be pleasant in nice weather but on the day we visited it was cold and windy so we sat in the inside area which is quite small. One more location to try

Ponysaurus is always a fun time! I asked for their sweetest drink as I usually do and the bartender recommended a seltzer- they have choices of raspberry, mango, and something else that I'm forgetting. I opted for mango, which was pretty good and not super sweet. My group also got some pizzas, which were decent (they're thin, not super cheesy, crust nicely charred). There's a lot of outdoor (covered and non-covered) and indoor seating, the ambiance is great for a casual hangout. They often have fun events too. Service was fast. There's parking on the adjacent Newman St or parking garage on S Elizabeth St. 10/10 would recommend!

Nothing but wonderful things to say about this brewery. Easily my favorite spot to grab a beer in Durham!! They have trivia night on Mondays, tons of outdoor seating, friendly staff, quick (& delicious) food service... the list could go on and on. Haven't ever had a bad time here. 10/10 would recommend for a fun night with friends, a date night, a day drinking vibe, and even a study session here with a beer during a perfect durham fall afternoon.

Clean, airy space with an open layout that turns cozy in the evenings thanks to warm backyard lighting. Ordering pizza is quick and hassle-free. The beer? Crisp, flavorful, and clearly top quality.

Whenever I go home and visit my friends in NC especially during the holidays, we meet at Ponysaurus for beers and their amazing pizzas! They have a huge outdoor space with two floors of seating. The beers are very high quality, local brews and they serve hot Neapolitan pizza. They are have these little snack bowls they sell if you're not super hungry. If you're looking for a cute first date or hanging out with friends this is the spot. They have a lot of street parking and a parking area for designated drivers! An easy spot to uber to from downtown Durham as well.

My husband and I are partaking in the Bull City Beer Challenge. Since we also love fall, we took a Friday afternoon off and decided to visit 3 or 4 on the list. This was our third stop. We've been to six on the list and this has been our favorite so far. There is street parking all around and free parking "lot" in front. It does fill up pretty quickly but we were able to find a spot really close to the entrance which was nice. All of the seating was outside...which on a day like we had, was absolutely perfect. The bartender was friendly and easily answered all of our questions. We also spoke to a manager after witnessing an interaction he had with a panhandler that entered the brewery. If it had not had happened right in front of us, we would not have known it happened. It was a quiet confrontation and the manager was calm and kept it from escalating. We were very impressed. I got a flight which consisted of four, 4 oz pours. I got the Chocolate Stout, Export Stout, Scottish Ale, and Golden Ale. I liked all of my choices, but the Chocolate Stout was my favorite. In fact, I liked it so much that this has been the only beer so far that I have purchased to take home! AND my husband really liked the pint glasses here so we bought one of those as well. We will definitely be returning to this establishment. We thoroughly enjoyed it!

Ponysaurus is one of Durham's popular craft breweries. They are mostly outdoor seating. They do have covered seating for when the weather doesn't cooperate. I got a flight of 4 beers and my dad chose a pint of another. Ponysaurus was recommended by both Yelp's feature collection and my neighbor. They have a good selection of beers and you can smell the hops at the bar. That told me this is the real deal. Bar service was a tad slow but I expected that since the weather was good and people want to hang out. I'll definitely be back again.

One of my favorite breweries! My women's soccer team visited on a Monday evening in October and I was surprised how busy it was. They have so many picnic tables and spots for large or small groups. The upstairs area is covered which we ended up needing since it started drizzling a little. They had trivia and some throwback Boyz 2 Men music the Monday we visited. So many fun and delicious beers to choose from! A must visit in Durham!!

Ponysaurus has great vibes and is the perfect spot to grab some brews and catch up with friends. The tables are all primarily outside with TVs if you want to watch a game. The beer was all decent but I wasn't overly impressed with the line ups. The bartender wasn't the most friendly and was very short with me. I got the caesar salad bites & they did not disappoint.

    Cocktails are amazing!

So wrong. This place is the absolute worst. It's so unfortunate because the place is beautiful and has potential. I've learned my lesson and there will not be a third time. We attempted to sit at a table for 8 but the chairs are oversized and the tables are far too close together. We had to remove two chairs to even attempt to slide across the chairs because you cannot pull them out to sit down. It's extremely difficult and uncomfortable to have to slide all the way out to let people in and out. Not user friendly at all. I wanted to order a beer but just like last time they didn't have any beer I'd ever drink which is saying a lot as I will drink anything that's not an IPA or super yellow. So I ordered the Rosè margarita but the male bartender told me they were out of that drink. Impossible. I could see both rosè and tequila from where I was standing. A female bartender overheard the male bartender lying to me and she said she would make the margarita for me. Hmmmmmmmm. So one honest bartender and one who lies because he only wants to pour beers. Thanks for solidifying that I was right to say I'd never be back to this awful establishment.

I was hoping I would not be disappointed. Downtown Durham on Parrish Street I do believe. I went there midday and there was a sparse lunch crowd already seated when I arrived. The warmly lit space presents nice aesthetic as you walk into the restaurant. A very chill and comfortable atmosphere. I love the bar and the mirrored wall nestled behind it. The spot is pretty laidback and very clean, but has a bit of a rustic nuance to it as well. I like that. The serving staff were extremely nice and helpful towards advising me in making my selection -- with me being a first-timer and all. I kept it simple...I chose the Classic Burger (pink) with pepper jack cheese, bacon marmalade, and as a side, I had to go with the Dirty Fries -- 'cause that's how I roll y'all. About the food: I have to say, the burger was staunchly built and crafted with artistry. Nice and tall with a seriously tasty bun encapsulating everything. Perfectly well-seasoned meat and the first bite was simply delightful. I noticed as I got towards the center of the meat, it was bit less juicy than the surrounding parts of the burger, but nevertheless still tasty. My Dirty Fries were delicious In the end; the experience as a whole was quite delightful and I would definitely like to go there again -- perhaps try a different burger to expand upon my experience with this place. Gotta try out That Bar y'all! I do recommend it for those who haven't had a chance to go by there to check it out.

Even before me an my party entered we could hear music playing from the building, which kept the vibes up! Moving onto the food, a certain menu item caught my eye. Something that I'm legally obligated to keep quiet about... but let tell you- this burger was Gooood. This "Signature Secret Burger" was rather unique, as it was like you took a pretty simple egg burger, and just ramped it up. My initial thought when I first tried it was that it was a burger squared, the mystery ingredients amplified the flavor to make such a savory meal. It wasn't to overbearing like many other burger places that I've visited, not immediately making me feel fat and full after taking a few bites. Our party also ordered a whole quart of fries, and they were SO GOOD!!! I'm a sucker for good fries, and you knocked this out of the park! Your fry soft was nice and mellow and complimented the fries perfectly. (And even afterwards, the fries warmed up really well and were still Really freakin' good!) Finally, during my visit, their anniversary event (Happy 15th By The Way ) and they were offering FREE DESSERT for someone who happened to sit in a randomly chosen seat. And by the luck of the gods my little brother found his way onto the seat! It was just really awesome to see a restaurant doing such awesome things for their birthday, y'don't see that every day! Overall, this place is definitely a place to stop by if you're in Durham. If you're in the area visit IMMEDIATELY if you love good fun food!
