We live close and wanted to check out the new Vietnamese restaurant in the area. Glad we did! My wife loves a good bahn mi (and hates a bad/mediocre one), and she was impressed. She said it's as good as Tam Deli used to be (and better than they are now), and she really liked the bread. I had the roast pork bun (vermicelli bowl) and the Thai iced tea. Our 3 year old had the kids meatballs (with the soup on the side), and he ate all the meatballs - which is impressive since he's a picky eater theses days. Yummy sandwiches. I had the beef and my husband had the pork. We both preferred the pork. The bread was delicious and crusty. I wish the sandwiches had a sauce though, I added soy sauce to kick up the flavor. The pork spring rolls with peanut sauce were delicious! Just tried the V Cafe on Anderson Mill road for the first time. The place is very neat and clean. The staff was friendly and frequently washed their hands. I had the Grilled Beef Bao Bun (2pcs) special, with an eggroll and a sweet tea, a Dumpling Pho with noodles soup, and a flan. The service and the food was outstanding! V Cafe is a great spot. The decor is elegantly modern and inviting, while not being stuffy. I'm a sometimes vegetarian and have often had difficulty eating at Vietnamese restaurants, but not at V cafe). There were plenty of options for me! To start, the veggie egg rolls were addictive; I must've eaten 4 or 5 of theme. My wife and I shared the veggie tofu pho and and the veggie rice plate. Both were really tasty- the portion sizes on both were generous. For a casual restaurant the service was attentive without being intrusive, and the kind owners checked in on us periodically to make sure we had everything we need. I'll definitely be going back. As a side note, we were with our three kids and they had high chairs at the ready. read more

The banh mi was rather unremarkable. No spice or crisp. Slim veggies and a modest portion of meat. The bread was greasy, too.

I love this place. I'd like to note that all I have ever ordered is take-out, so I can't really make a comment on an in-dining experience. BUT, every time I've ordered from here has been fresh and hot. The last two orders have been during the virus epidemic... but they offer FREE delivery within 3 miles of their store from their website! It's so good. That's all I can say. I'm basing my rating off of what I ordered which was the chicken vermicelli bowl. I only went here because it's close to my apartment. The to go presentation was odd, with the lettuce, cucumbers, noodles and chicken separate. No bean sprouts or peanuts. I asked for a small plastic sauce container for some sriracha sauce and she instead gave me 2 tiny packets of sriracha. The fish sauce smelled like straight vinegar. I'm not sure if the other dishes are better but I probably won't return. I'd rather make the drive somewhere else to get a much better experience read more
