Went here last night for the first time with friends. The reviews are all correct. The food is out standing. Service impeccable. Yes they can only serve beer, Sakai and wine but they made Mrs C a cocktail to die for. The tuna meals were awesome and the sea bass main was perfect. Rarely have I found such good food at a reasonable price. The only problem is everyone knows about this place and the line for a table is out the door. Well worth the wait though. read more

Food was absolutely A plus! Server was a little sporadic but he did not take away from the amazing dinner. Don't let the menu prices shock you- the food is SO worth it. One bite will prove it is worth every cent. We had ahi tuna won-tacos and lobster bisque to start. Then had Nemo's Ultimate miso sea bass and the grilled key west hogfish for dinner. We read the reviews on Yelp and booked a reservation online. (Note to self: take the earlier seatings in the high season!) Seated promptly and our server was attentive and helpful. My husband and I like to split the entree and ordered several appetizers. Just be aware that we were told that there is a $6.95 share price, which I thought a little odd. We are very comfortable doling out our dinner on a smaller plate ourselves, but the kitchen did split it into nice portions. OH and YES we did the chilean sea bass with the lobster risotto, uber expensive, but as everyone says, this dish is to die for! I've had chilean sea bass in restaurants before, but the sauce and risotto were spectacular! (and oh yes, we were totally filled on half the dish!) Our sides were a garden salad and the cauliflower appetizer. Don't miss the cauliflower! Very good: a skinny version of General Tso's Chicken and very lightly done. Again, perfect to share! I wasn't so sure of this place when we pulled up, but I'm not familiar with Naples and didn't realize that lots of good restaurants just happen to be in strip malls. We were seated outside, which was a good thing as the temp was perfect and it was a bit stuffy inside. We waited just a few minutes past our reservation time. It's a bit odd as you're sitting in front of the restaurant with the parking lot just a foot away but they do a good job of putting up bushes and stuff to make it feel like you're sitting in a garden. Service was good, timing was good and in general, everyone was very happy with their food. i ordered the favorite miso seabass and it was excellent and a huge portion. Looked like 2 filets. It was served with rice, which I prefer with fish. For our app, we had the pear salad which was well done and the lobster poutine - i was iffy on this as poutine is so rich and bad for you that I only want to eat it when it's done really well, luckily this one was. Both my husband and his mom got fish and were happy and my father--in-law got steak and it was perfectly done. It sounds like they'll be taking their friends back for another round so overall I'd give this place 4.5 stars. read more

The appetizer and two entrées that we had was absolutely perfection. Fresh wonderful tasting and beautiful presentation. The only reason I gave it four stars was because of the service from our waiter that lacked great service and also attention to detail. Had to pour our own wine after the first serving. Also had to ask for black napkins so the white ones would not fun is all over our clothes. He forgot so I had to ask him again. Other than the service this place would have received five stars. We had the ceviche as the appetizer and then moved on to the sea bass and the second entrée was the branzino. Just sent one of my Italian vendors visiting from Milan to have dinner there tonight so I hope they enjoy themselves as well. read more

Interesting restaurant tucked away in a shopping plaza! We went mid March and other than people wearing masks until seated, there is zero Covid protocols and they pack people in like sardines. I ordered a cosmo and was surprised to learn that they don't serve liquor and that it was made with sake. Interesting twist. Decent wine list. The menu was quite expansive and the waitress was very helpful in pointing out suggestions. Food was very good. I highly recommend the "nemo's ultimate miso sea bass". Ceviche appetizer and Hot Crunchy Grouper both had an explosion of flavors. Only drawback is that it is very loud and the tables are right on top of each other. The specialty sea bass was excellent! Would get it again. Very tender and flavorful. My friend had the fish tacos and also was impressed - said they were the best ever. Only complaint would be our waitress was very snippy and really did not care about waiting on us. Once she took our order she did not come back until we were finished with our meal (which she did not deliver). This is one of those restaurants you could come to over and over again and not get tired of ordering literally the same exact thing. For appetizers, you will want to get Foie Gras. Honestly, there is not one place I've been to that has Foie Gras on the menu and not made it delicious. Although it comes in a small portion, you really only need to take a nibble to get the full flavor of the duck liver. It comes on top of a toasted brioche which helps even out the extremely powerful flavor of the liver. I would say it's good for about maybe 3-4 people to share. For entrees, the Miso Broiled Sea Bass is the way to go. Whenever I'm eating here, about 3/4 of the table will order this dish. There is no shame because Nemo knows this is their signature dish and therefore most popular dish. If you look around at other tables, everyone is ordering the exact same thing. Sea Bass is boneless so that automatically should entice you bone haters. If you ever had Miso Ramen broth, this is what the sea bass tastes like, except a little sweeter. Unlike most other fish this steamed sea Bass is extremely soft in texture and will melt in your mouth. It is not grainy like salmon. The portion is generous, as it comes with rice or mashed potatoes, asparagus, and carrots. Nemo has indoor and outdoor seating. I recommend sitting indoors, as the ambience feels like you are in a submarine (hence the name USS Nemo). If you come for dinner, you will most likely have to wait for indoor seating but it's totally worth it. Outdoor seating on the other hand seems a little too hot at times. Because it is literally next to the parking lot, sometimes when cars pull in, you will be blinded by headlights. 10/10 would come again and would recommend if you are in the mood for seafood! read more

They must have been drinking when they came up with the decor for this place but, in my mind, you can't beat the creative fusion seafood here. I live in Naples and the only place that compares for seafood is Roy's. My wife and I can here after a long travel day. No reservations, no problems. We were seated outside within a few minutes. Luckily this time of the year in Florida, sitting outside is not an issue. We ordered blue crab cakes and mini fish tacos for appetizers, the crab cakes was awesome. I did not try the mini tacos, my wife comments that they were very good. For the main course, I ordered the grilled scottish salmon, my wife got lobster ravioli. My salmon was decent, must say, I have eaten better. Lobster ravioli was good, wifey enjoyed it. For desset we ordered Chocolate decadence, which was very tasty. the place is on the pricey side, all the above came to approx $88. all in all, I did not find the food worth the cost. read more

I have visited many restaurants in my Tour d' Florida. This is definitely in the top three. Burns Steak house and Victoria and Alberts rival. I've enjoyed Del Frisco's and many others but this one seems to keep me coming. I am a sucker for the house recommended Chilean Sea Bass. OUCH! Although I have had other dishes in this Asian fusion, this one is the king. The Foie Gras is to die for. The only disappointment is the lack of a full liqueur license which is entirely over look-able. It is a fast paced fine dining restaurant that needs your reservations because of its smoking hot presentations and food quality. This restaurant is a must visit before you die. The owner writes a reply to my previous review and it seems he does care about the customers. For the dishes we had, both the lamb and the sea bass have considerable fat to start with. I would grill them a bit to reduce the fat and add some light seasoning (like lemon, pepper, herbs or soy sauce etc.) rather than adding fat using oil based sauce (like coconut milk, olive oil or butter). Anyway it's just personal taste and hope you find the review helpful. read more

Great food, lovely menu, fun atmosphere, servers make you feel rushed and are not overly friendly they act as though they are there strictly to do their jobs not to create an "experience" for the client. I will go back again and again because the food is excellent! Lobster Bisque incredible, sea bass incredible, coconut cream pie made in house is the best I have ever tasted. If you want some attention get a reservation at the bar because those servers are attentive and focus on their customer. :-) Very busy call for reservations and expect to be rushed through your meal for the next seating. In Naples on business. I'm a huge seafood/sushi fan. Was told by a relative who lives in Naples to try USS Nemo. After asking for a great seafood place in town. Well Aunt Gail, you were right. First was given bread, which was fresh (very important and a good sign). App was the Fried Calamari, usually you can tell it was frozen. Nemo's fried calamari didn't seem frozen, from what I can tell. It also came with 4 different types of dipping sauce. I forgot the type, but two where creamy, one red sauce and the fourth was like a soy sauce type. Dinner was the Swordfish Cioppino over saffron crab risotto. The risotto was very good, I actually could taste the crab. The swordfish was fresh with great color. The red wine sauce had cherry tomatoes and sausage, a little spicy, but was a good combination. If I had more bread (which I don't need more carbs) I would have cleaned my plate haha. Overall, very pleased with the complete dinner. The atmosphere was comfortable, the staff was pleasant and helpful. USS Nemo is a must stop if you enjoy seafood with an Asian fusion! read more

Nemo's is my favorite restaurant to dine at while in Naples. Their tuna with fresh herbs and goat cheese is superb - the best meal I've ever had at a restaurant. On our most recent trip my sister got the ultimate sea bass entree. The fish itself was incredible as usual but she did not think the upgrade to "ultimate" status (meaning the fish came with lobster risotto instead of potato puree) was a better pairing or worth the added cost. Our other dishes, the grouper appetizer and key lime cheesecake, were also delicious. This restuarant is truly one of our favorites. We've been coming to USS Nemo's for years and this restaurant is always on it's game. The braised pork belly and octopus appetizers were delicious. For entrees, I had the Mediterranean Sea Bass with a cassoulet of beans, ham and fra gras with pomegranates which was out of this world. The other entrees in our party range from seared sea scallops, Branzino and the Yellow Tail Valcano seasoned was an Indian spiced dish. We split deserts. My wife and I getting the 3 cream puffs with 3 different scoops of ice cream, ginger, pear and mango on pool of dark chocolate sauce and my son and his friend split the dense chocolate cake. Every one in our party of 4 was truly impressed and couldn't have been happier with our meal. Even though we were there on a Saturday night the service and the kitchen were spot on as usual. We weren't rushed but never wondered where our next course was. I just can't say enough about how much we like this restaurant. If you plan on going, definitely make a reservation. read more

This was my third time to dine at USS Nemo. My first 2 trips were awesome! The only criticisms I had read about in the past were that it was somewhat crowded and loud. But neither time did we feel crowded or that it was too loud. Busy, yes, but not noticeable. The first time I went I had the sea bass, which was wonderful! My wife had a wonderful grouper. Wednesday night (Jan 8) we went with a group of 6. The service was just as excellent as ever, very nice wine list which was not overpriced, and prices were in line, but we were disappointed with the food. The hogfish was quite good, but the halibut was small and overcooked, and the scallops were very disappointing. Five of the six of us were not pleased with the food. Could it have been just an off night? Do not know, but just spring for the extra dough and get the sea bass or go somewhere else read more
