Beautiful setting, nice piano music, however disappointing food. Clam chowder with bacon tasted like potato soup. Lobster sushi with crab had virtually no flavor. Grilled octopus was cold. Service was below average, we had to ask for forks and chopsticks for the sushi. read more

Ok, so let me be completely honest. Hands down best crab cake I've ever had in my life! I went to Maryland and this crab takes the cake!! Now the rest of the food was good but not amazing. A little flavor was lacking from my potatoes and my fish. The cocktails were very good and so was the service The ambiance - sitting near the water is serene and the live music was such a nice touch. I will definitely be back but more for the appetizers and cocktails this time. Maybe I'll give the main entrees another whirl. read more

Loved the bar, music and atmosphere. We both Ordered their Grouper special. My husband could not taste the grouper special due to his allergies. My grouper was the most horrible food I have ever eaten. When asked the Waitress said the Grouper was delivered fresh today. I believe we had the leftover grouper from days past and not the delivery of today. Salad, Rice and beans were good. The establishment should not serve days old fish!!! read more

We came here for lunch with friends on a beautiful day and took advantage of the alfresco dining. The restaurant has a nice location overlooking the water. Service was good. We had clam chowder, caesar salads, burger, & lobster sushi roll. One of the caesar salads went from $16 to $32 because the waiter suggested adding a protein. Talk about an upsell. Strange? Mediocre? I'm really torn between 2 and 3 stars. Okay, step by step. Great ambiance, very well decorated place, perfectly in the theme. Wine list is not very large, and in any case, we decided to bring our own wine. Corking fee information is nowhere to be found on the website, so here is what was printed: $25 for the first bottle, $35 for the second. $45 for the third. Wine service was horrible. I get it that we brought our own bottles - you still have to go through the pouring a taste, as the wine can be corked or just not good. In our case, the wine was just directly poured for all the guests automatically, no questions, no presentation. Fish is definitely pretends to be a fine establishment, so this is unacceptable. Overall, service was very strange- I can't even sum it up in a few words - for sure it was not friendly. Now to the food. There were 6 people in the group, each person got two dishes - some got two appetizers. Clam chowder was okay but it was competing in the saltiness with the sea. Muscles in white wine were very good. Also grilled octopus was excellent, and I understand tuna tartare was good ( didn't taste it). Few people got chicken Milanese and it was borderline tasteless rubber. I got fish called triple tail as my main dish. The flavor and presentation would be okay for a diner. But when you pay $58 for a blob of yellow rice, 5 green beans, and big chunk of tasteless, bland fish, this doesn't sound right at all. Ahh, sorry, there were two shrimp on top of fish. This is not a $58 dish at a fine dining establishment. And if you want to charge this kind of money, give me a dish half the size, but make it exciting to eat. All in all, a subpar experience. Very disappointing, went there on Mother's Day. My husband surprised me. I saw 2 plates with burger and when I asked our server if they have menu for burgers (for my son) he gave me a weird look and told me they don't serve or no menu for burgers and I told him thought I saw a server holding a plate with burger. So we just order a dinner menu. He didn't give us a bread even-though we asked twice, the third time we asked he said" oh you want more bread?" Which we really didn't get one in the first place. Then a table next to us they got a burger! So I mentioned it to our server, You told us you guys don't serve burgers how come they have burgers? And he said oh they order lunch, we didn't argue anymore. Service was poor! Food overpriced as expect because it's Naples. But for a Mother's Day? Common! Didn't even apologize. Fish, you lost your luster. My soggy salad was drenched in dressing. Swimming to the point it burned my throat. The salmon that I asked to be prepared well done was cold and medium. The children's burgers were rare. Not appropriate. The lobster mac and cheese was dismal. Fish and chips were cold and bland. The calamari for $22 tasted ok but the portion was just more than Barbie sized. And did someone spill the entire jar of oregano in the pasta sauce? Hundreds of dollars horribly spent. We had a very good meal at FISH , we had the grilled octopus , shrimp tempura roll and lobster Mac and cheese for appetizers. They were all really good choices. Dinner we had Grouper , chicken Milanese which was also very good. Billy was a fabulous server, will request him next visit ! read more

Terrible service we came at 8PM and it was absolutely empty. Not one single person there but the staff that is super rude on top of that we ordered food, that was also DISGUSTING. We got a pound of Snow Crab for $56 dollars!!! The crab was DEFINITELY not fresh, super tough, and everything was bland and dry. Never once did the waiter apologize till she noticed i was very noticeably pissed! Lastly... at 9:30 when we were almost done eating the restaurant starts packing up, putting everything away, which is completely fine. But then they turned off the outside lights while we were still SAT and had food on the table!!! Never again. read more

Our visits are a bit non conventional after fun beach days, we put on a nice bathing suit cover up (dress like), dust the sand off and visit the restaurant at the outside bar and outside high top tables for happy hour. I can't attest for the inside of the restaurant or the dinner menu. During several visits my family has tried bang bang shrimp, small sliders, oysters (several times), and the dish we come for and always get a tuna POKE bowl :) I've had poke from many restaurants including Maui, and I really like how simple and fresh this one is. Everyone I bring loves it too. We've also brought a 3 year old once (outside high top table) with a dairy allergy and they were very accommodating. The bar food service is usually amazing and attentive with only 1 subpar experience from a server after multiple visits. I can't remember her name (I've only seen 1 female behind the bar every visit) she's great and seems very genuine and sweet. read more

This restaurant has gone dramatically down hill over the past several years. 3-4 years ago you could get a variety of oysters and other fresh seafood. Now it's generic blue points and mediocre seafood. The crab cakes aren't remotely close to the quality they have been in the past. Service is ok but nothing to speak of. We thought this was just a bad experience last season but now we are resolved to the fact that this is the new normal. Probably the last time we eat here. 9/11/23. Lunch with friend and wife. Was here once before several years ago. It's still as good as I remember. The location is quite nice plenty of parking and views of the canals. It's a seafood restaurant as the name implies. The service was friendly and efficient . Didn't look at the bar/wine menu. We drove down from St. Pete's and our friend from Miami. Long drives back so no booze. They have an ample selection of fish and seafood and sushi and sashimi. We all had the fish du jour special: pan seared mahi with shrimp and scallops, vegetables and jasmine rice. A small garden green salad, nicely dressed, was offered as an accompaniment. The fish was perfectly seared, having a light crust but the flesh moist. The vegetables nicely sautéed. We didn't have dessert. Lunch was quite enjoyable. Everything from service, location with lovely water view & of course food done to perfection. It's tucked away at the end of Venetian village (truly feels like a Mediterranean village). I came down on vacation to Naples with a girlfriend of mine. I've been in the service industry in one of way or another for my whole life so I'm generally pretty critical of service. Let me start with the food first. Everything was perfectly timed and prepared to our desired temperatures. I realize that we weren't the easiest table of her night, but Fernanda kept a smile the whole night. She has an attitude that can't be taught. She was so accommodating. The food was great, but when I come back to Naples I will visit Fish and request her. I suggest anyone else do the same. She was professional and adorable. Thanks, Fernanda! I have been here quite a few times. Most of the time the service is good, but a couple times not so great. I assumed that it was because they were busy. Other than that, I've had very positive experiences. The food is delicious and presented well every time, but the prices have gone up a bit to high lately. The restaurant is a nice environment, a very nice musician is there playing, and it's a great experience to eat on the water. I've overall had positive experiences at Fish Restaurant and would recommend. I hope to go back again, but hope that those couple things are better. read more
