Came here on a weeknight for dinner. Had the pork gyoza and thought it was decent, probably the best thing I had, although they probably came out of a bag. Had the shrimp tempura with Soba. Thought the tempura was ok but too heavily breaded and had the wrong kind of batter. Was a bit surprised that the Soba was served as a soup, and not as dipping Soba. The Soba soup had some shredded carrots and a little bit of onion in it. Broth was meh. Was a very mediocre meal. Maybe with different ordering one could have a better meal. I really wanted to like this place and support a local business. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. The shop was completely empty when I went in. Before ordering, I specifically asked the cashier if the matcha was sweet. She said it was "a little, but not that much," and I clearly mentioned that I don't like sweet drinks. Based on that, I proceeded to order multiple items, including drink. When I received the drink, it was extremely sweet--overwhelmingly so--and tasted very artificial. I politely asked if there was any way to fix it. The response I received was full of attitude, and I was told that fixing it would cost extra. While I wasn't actually charged, the way it was handled was rude and careless. They poured more milk into the cup, causing it to spill everywhere. No apology, no effort to make it right, no basic customer service. On top of that, the prices are high for the quality and experience you receive. For an overpriced menu and such poor service, there's no reason to come back. I will absolutely never return. After this experience, it's no surprise the shop was empty at 9 a.m. on a weekday. read more

We eat at Saki often and it's always amazing!!! The Hibachi is spot on. The flavors are amazing. I usually get the Hibachi Shrimp at lunch and it's very plentiful and at an amazing price! The shrimp are perfectly cooked and the veggies are so yummy!!! At dinner I usually go for the Hibachi Scallops...yummmm!!! We love the Shrimp Tempura & the Lisa Lisa Rolls. I love the interior of the restaurant, the service was very good, however the food is not great. I had never eaten there before so decided to try a few things that were pretty basic. The rolls we had did not have a great flavor, however I'm confident they were very fresh. The flavor of the ginger dressing on the salad was a bit grainy and thick, lacked flavor, and water covered the bottom of the bowl (a rookie miss in the restaurant business). The rolls are just average tasting and smaller in size to others that are the same price. Husband said his bento box was just okay. The rice was chewy- we are used to softer throughly cooked rice so keep that in mind. The Diet Coke came in a bottle for $2.99 each. Paid about $30 + tip for lunch. You wont find a better sushi/Japanese place anywhere! I travel to Naples every weekend and make sure to always stop by when Im in town. My go-to is the Jimmy Smith roll and it never fails. We had dinner at Saki Japanese last night and it was a very nice time. The restaurant is big enough for a group and it has outdoor seating. Both of the meals we ordered were fantastic. My wife had a hibachi filet with fried rice, and I had the Square roll. The food was served to us in a very short time, and the taste of the food was just fantastic. We stopped here on a whim and I'm really glad we made the choice to do so. I'm sure we'll be back. read more

Came for lunch. Ordered chicken bento boxes and a chicken hibachi. In my humble opinion the chicken is not actual chicken breast, it is frozen chicken breast that includes rib meat (probably from Costco?). It has a weird texture and does not taste like fresh chicken at all. Chicken teriyaki is simply a frozen fillet covered with pepper and salt that has been grilled flat and cut into 8 slices. Teriyaki sauce is pored on top. The California roll that came with the bento was skimpy. Not enough rice was put into the sushi to make nice fat pieces of sushi. Gyoza was fine. Pepsi served is from a bottle not from a fountain. Great location and convenient to Lely residents. For the owners please increase the quality of the food, charge more if necessary to cover the cost. Did not leave less than 3 stars as I understand that this restaurant is someone's livelihood. read more

I don't normally take time to rate a restaurant, but the presentation (sushi/sashimi combo plate) was unbelievable, salmon roe was served in little carved edible cucumber finger bowls, the fish was very fresh absolutely the best value for the dollar. A quaint place with great Japanese food. I had the seaweed salad and the Crazy Roll and my Husband has the dynamite roll. My daughter had hibachi shrimp with white rice and it came with vegetables. I can't believe I haven't reviewed Saki Japanese Kitchen yet! I really enjoy coming here, as you can see from the many photos. Their sushi is very good. Always tastes fresh, and is made to order by real sushi chefs. If you're not in the mood for sushi, there are a lot of other options to try like their many teriyaki dishes. The service is great, the only thing that I'd remark about is that at times it takes longer than ideal to receive your food order. Other than that, you'll definitely have a great time! read more
