DO NOT GO HERE! They have changed ownership and it clearly reflects in the presentation and taste of the food. The spicy snapper volcano tasted like a dry fish smothered in Franks hot sauce. The calamari was incredibly over cooked and tasted like it was only fried breading. The tacos changed from a great dish to fish smothered in mayo. Ambiance is a definite miss here. The restaurant was packed and the seating has you packed in like sardines. Fortunately, we had a friendly couple next to us so we became a 4 top. Our server barely spoke to us and if we didn't answer quickly, he said he'd be back; he seemed very hurried. The menu is quite different for most seafood restaurants; perhaps it's best described as Asian or Thai. My salad was interesting but the shashimi tuna & salmon got lost in the mix. Whenever we visit Naples, this restaurant is on our go to list at least once, usually twice. Service is always good and food is incredible. CB&J foie gras is hands down my favorite item on the menu. Miso sea bass is another favorite, as it is always cooked perfectly and melts in your mouth. Tonight I had the beef brisket served with the most delicious polenta I've ever eaten. While the food at USS Nemo is very good, this is the second time out of four visits that our reservation was not honored. We had an 8:30 reservation, which was very late to start with, and they were running 30 minutes late. We had a friend in from out of town who had been flying all day and we wanted to introduce the restaurant to her, but we had to leave and go somewhere else. This is the second time we waited over 30 minutes for a table. This time we left after waiting 20 minutes. I got a call at 9 o'clock telling us our table was ready. Too late! While the food may be good, it's not worth the aggravation. I do not recommend this restaurant. read more

There is only one negative thing I can say about this restaurant, the tables are packed in and very tight, be prepared to get cozy with your neighboring table. Been there yesterday . Reservation 4:45. Immediately seated. Food is a bit pricy but absolutely worth it. Service is terrible. Waited for meal until 6:15. Waiter shows every 20 minutes. Totally understaffed. Restaurant is packed with tables therefore loud and no good atmosphere. Will not go there in season again. Solid waiting line of about 20 people when we left. Owner very strange. Comes to table introduces herself and asks if everything is ok. Told her 1 hour wait on dinner. Replied that she has to talk to the chef to see what she could do. What???? Enjoyed an excellent meal at Nemo. The atmosphere is just as creative as the preparations the food. Quality is excellent from table settings to waitstaff. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meal choices. The hostess was kind and accommodating as my mom was in a wheel chair. The only thing to be prepared for before arriving is the difficulty in parking as this restaurant is very popular. Another wish list item would be that would make more room between tables. Nemo's is just so popular that people are willing to sit close to each other like they were family. Anyway you look at it Nemo's is a winner. read more

This was simply the best restaurant we visited in Naples. We went on a Wednesday evening and it was packed! The seating is a bit crammed and the place gets a little loud. However, the ambiance is still very nice and the service is fantastic. The menu has such creative variety. More than we've seen at other places. We enjoyed the shrimp Martini, Miso Sea bass and Hogfish. Excellent plates! We will definitely be back on our next visit to Naples. read more

All of our entree's were exceptional; the fried calamari appetizer, Asian crusted wahoo steak, volcanic yellowtail snapper (regular spices), grilled hogfish, and miso glazed tofu. The two children had the child portion hamburgers, which were adult sized and thankfully came out with the appetizer! They were able to accommodate our gluten-free diner and even had delicious gluten free bread for the bread basket. The handcrafted cocktails were also very good, especially the mango & jalapeño martini which was not too sweet and not too spicy. Anna, our server was very attentive and gave great suggestions when asked. The only negative, and thus 4 stars instead of 5, is that USS Nemo's is small and the tables are close together and the noise level is almost as loud as I've experienced in a restaurant. We were there at 5:00 pm so the restaurant wasn't at seating capacity and still was loud. They do have outside seating which would be quieter. The kids especially liked the submarine decor. I made a reservation for my husband's birthday on January 26th for 7pm. The crowded, extremely noisy dining room turned us off right away. When I gave our name and said we had a reservation, we could hardly hear the staff member, who told us our table wasn't ready. She directed us to the bar for drinks, which was also full, no stools available. My husband was looking forward to a cocktail but we learned that only wine, beer, and saki was offered.
