I am leaving this review out of frustration and in the hopes that someone in authority will care enough to do something about my concerns. I live in a front house our mail always ends up everywhere but inside my mailbox. My address is clearly visible on the front of my house as well as my mailbox and still problems occur. The most upsetting part is when two different packages of mine never get delivered and yet I receive a DELIVERED confirmation on my cellphone. Now I have to rely on honest and kind neighbors to forward my packages to me. Why does this keep happening? There are standards and testing that are given before working for a government job and yet this type of things continue. Please have some accountability! read more

Systematic, courteous & professional are what best describe this USPS office. Line is bearable because the staff shows accuracy & organization thus speedy. They also provide answers to every query knowledgeably. At peak hours, parking is quite challenging with small space for customers. Overall they deserve 4 stars for service! read more

Parking is tough at this USPS with only around 10 spots. I went during lunch and there were a line of cars waiting for a parking spot. When I did enter the post office, it was pretty fast, but the service from the guy was almost hostile. It was like he was angry to do his job. This USPS is close to me, but I'll try and find another location if I have to go again. read more

This post office and their employees are horrible, I use a subscription shipping company for my business and if a package is slightly off they will invoice me the difference and still deliver my package, when I rarely drop off packages here if it's slightly off they will void the label and "return to sender" three blocks to my house for the full price of the label- I have spoken to other post office employees and asked why this happens and I've been told that it's out of spite- that all us postal service employees have been advised to still ship packages because they are aware that shippers are invoiced for additional fees and some simply choose not to. Things change and technology changes sometimes to benefit and make people's lives easier being a jerk and choosing to send back packages is a shitty choice and makes me mistrust the postal service employees read more

UNBELIEVABLE!! I shipped a Christmas box from Pasadena by USPS Ground Advantage to my brother in Fort Shaw, Montana on Dec. 16. I was told it would arrive by Dec. 20; this was also stated on the receipt. A week later, it still had not arrived. I checked the tracking number online and it simply listed the shipping status as being "in transit," with no other details. No one at the regional P.O. on Lincoln in Pasadena could give me any further clarification of the status. Week after week, an online check again simply showed this box as being "in transit." My brother called me on Jan. 12 to let me know that it had finally arrived. Checking the tracking number online again, it now showed a full, detailed accounting of this box's odyssey through the postal system, something that would have been helpful weeks earlier. The record revealed that IT DIDN'T LEAVE THE LOS ANGELES AREA UNTIL JAN. 9!! Once it left the L.A. area, it took only 3 days to get to Montana and my brother's residence. Every time I come here the person at the counter has something to tell me. First time it was I'm using the wrong and they riped my medium priority box to a priority box even tho the bottom of label says I'm allowed to use either boxes and regional too. The 2nd time, it was because I put box tape around my label and the guy told me to buy the labels they have because if it rains it will ruin the ink, honestly are they telling me people don't have a roof over their porch? Today, he gives me a form saying they can only scan 3 labels in. Then he points at the camera and tells me the camera up there verifies only 3 items has to be scanned." Wtf? Seriously! This guy is older with a mullet hair style, white and grumpy. This is not a lie, no where in the form said he can scan in 3 items and that I have to leave it on the counter. I can confirm the negative reviews posted before mine and the future ones to come. Like the rest, this one is about the same employee. He has a full beard & wears glasses. When I went, he was the only employee not wearing a mask--despite the mask and social distance policy posted by the entrance. Even though he wasn't manning the counter, he yelled at the customer before me to just leave her package there. She had a question but he disregarded it. Once I was up, even before I got to the counter, he yelled "okay, so if you leave that type of package here, it's going to stay here forever" w/o any explanation. It was a pre-paid return package. When I asked why, he reacted by slumping his shoulders and sighing out loud, as if I'm expected to know as much as he does about shipping and mailing. He goes on to say that I need to go to the UPS store in Eagle Rock, again, without any additional information. I reply "Well, I have another package in my backpack," and reach in to take it out. Even before he can see it, he yells "that one too" but once he actually does, all 3 employees say "oh no, that one is fine." The other employee behind the counter took that package and scanned it without any problems. It could have all ended there...BUT GUESS WHAT? Mr. know-it-all wasn't finished! He started to try to lecture me so we had a loud back and forth. He said, "Well you shouldn't believe everything you see on the internet." The hours have changed in this location. It now opens at 10 am and closes at 5 pm from Monday to Friday, and 10 am to 3:30 pm on Saturdays. It's closed on federal holidays, like today, Veteran's Day. I suggest you check the hours again. read more

Great little post office with great customer service. Lines can be long at times, but what post office doesn't? Most of the workers here are friendly and efficient. They are always willing to help if you have any questions. They also offer suggestions as well for you to save on shipping costs. If you get there before it opens, expect to usually wait in longer than usual lines. Go a little after they open. read more

Someone is committing fraud at this post office. Rent checks intended for landlords are being fraudulently cashed. Prescriptions from doctors that arrive each month in the mail are fraudulently being filled. Do not trust this post office with the handling of ANYTHING. I feel like this post office is committing fraud. Couple months I sent back an iPhone7 back to the insurance company that was brand new and it was never scanned. This post office never had knowledge that they received it. I had to pay 560 for your workers mistakes. Now on 3/10/18 I had a packaged shipped from OC and that takes 1-2 days to arrive. It's already been a week that has gone by. It was suppose to arrive this past Saturday for some odd reason the tracking says shipping delayed which that Saturday it said arrive by 8:00pm. I usually dread a visit to the post office because the service is almost always horrible. However, I must say my experience today was the complete opposite. Phuong was amazing! She was friendly and made me feel like she cared. She was knowledgable about the best product for my needs and even recommended that I use a different box then the one I had chosen to save me money! What more could you ask for? Phuong deserves a raise or a promotion! Although this is not the Post Office Zip for my location, It is the ONLY Post Office I will use with any regularity. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly, Vincent has been there for like 10 years....and goes above and beyond in all situations. This has to be one of the hardest jobs in the universe, dealing with long lines of people who are usually not happy when the reach the counter. But this office goes above and beyond to try to move things along at a quick pace, but does it with smiling and courteous service almost always. There are several people I would like to give credit to, but I am not good at names....Tony, an younger Asian P.O. Employee to mention a few plus Vincent. Although I live closer to two other post office locations, I use the York Avenue station almost exclusively because of the incredible customer service I receive there. I am a daily post office customer who mails out several hundred parcels every year. Rebecca and Victor really are the A-Team. (I'm dreading the day that they retire). In addition to being incredibly efficient and knowledgable workers, they are also both friendly and upbeat people. I am writing this yelp review because USPS wants to push more customers to use the USPS website and they are cutting staff at all post offices to the bone. The doors are unlocked early 'cause of the PO boxes, but the actual counter doesn't open until 9:30, and word to the wise, a line starts forming at 9:20. There were two people working the counter, it was a little dark in there, but otherwise your average post office. The guys who run this locations are straight shooters and that does not necessarily mean its a bad thing as they will help you in anyway possible. Even though we live in a technological age where snail mail is being less infrequent unless you are sending packages, postcards(people still do that!), etc. The mailing industry will be around for awhile. Anyways why would I review a post office? Well if you have read my past reviews, if you haven't feel free, I mention I am a hopeless romantic and boy do I love the cheesiness that comes with falling head over heels for someone. Well the honeymoon period of the relationship. I know this part doesn't last long but do I milk every last drop of it. Now how does this location come to play? I like to say that I am very good gifter(is that a word?) I feel like hearing what someone has to say to me I can gauge things they would like and try to see if I can get for them. On the flip side though the times I am actually with someone on Valentines, I do participate in this faux holiday but I really truly believe that giving your loved one a gift on a normal tuesday would mean a whole lot more than the one day a year when it is expected of you to exchange gift with someone you "love." Sorry if I broke some of your hearts but I did say I partake in the tradition but I would rather relish in the surprise when it is least expected. Bringing this around, this place brings memories as I was with a girl who loved her letters(hand written not typed) and books. She loved receiving letters and thank goodness my penmanship isn't chicken scratch, I would write in long form sweet nothingness. I did mention I can be cheesy as hell and I really should check myself for a psychological evaluation if cheesiness has been included in the newest DSM. I would order books online then have them sent to her though I knew her address and I was spending a little extra by doing this. I did this because I wanted to add a little extra onto the book flap or first page where it says "note" section, just stating sentimental value. TYPING THIS REVIEW IS REALLY SHOWING ME I SHOULD JUST STOP AND SHUT UP.. tmi long story short good spot, it's right by my place! good people, they haven't strayed me away in the wrong direction yet though they have enabled me a bit in my hopeless romanticism. ah fudge! The rudest Post Office I have ever been to. You better know more about their policies than they do or you will get literally yelled at! Don't even try to come right after closing and if you are late to get your PO Box key, forget about it! You will be yelled at in the post office. I literally went there twice and it was awful! Awful! Best USPS I have ever been to in LA County. Victor was very friendly and informative. No lines & plenty of parking space.

I hate going here, lines are long and service is slow, most of the time they have one worker for a line of 20 people.
