I had the worst customer service experience at this location. While waiting in line, I noticed the representative (Karla) being rude to other customers, which was already concerning. When it was my turn, I explained that I had just lost my home in the Eaton Canyon fires and was there to update my address. Since my driver's license had my old address, I provided the only proof of address I had left from the paperwork that survived the fire. She refused to accept it. When I explained my situation, her response was, "I do not care!"--cold, unempathetic, and completely unacceptable. At a time when I was already dealing with unimaginable loss, her lack of compassion and professionalism made the situation even worse. This was truly the worst customer service experience I've ever had. I hope management takes this seriously because no one should be treated this way, especially in such difficult circumstances. read more

The temporary mailman at this post office been misplacing my mail & magazines for 3 days then my regular mailman misplace my package the next day. My neighbor give me one of my mail, then next day, I find my magazine on top of mailbox & who knows where my package is even tho their system said they delivered it in my mailbox area. Never got it. I have complaint to supervisor, she said she will called me back for status of my package & still waiting, it's been 3 days. This is one of the worst post office ever. They should fired the temporary mailman cause again one of my mail is missing again. Everytime they have a temporary mailman who does the mail, they are careless & misplace my mail. I had 4 packages missing even tho the system said it's been delivered in my mailbox. I also got a empty box cause someone in post office took my stuff & tape it up. It's like nobody at post office takes responsibility & their attitude is oh well too bad. If I could rate them a zero I would. It used to be good before but nowadays they just hire anyone. They just got more money from government, raise their prices & their service sucks & getting worst. Terrible service! I've had consistent issues with my mail being delivered to the neighbor instead of me for over a year! Many of these were sensitive personal information that I do not want shared with anyone. One neighbor is good on giving me my mail, but I have missed others as informed delivery has shown me what I was supposed to have delivered. I've tried calling them to report the issue, but no one answers the phone. EVER! What's the point in displaying a phone number if it is literally never answered at all! It also doesn't have a voicemail set up, so after numerous rings, it simply ends the call. Complete joke and worst off, it's unethical business practices. Not only are they hiring employees that lack attention to detail, they don't even give you the opportunity to report the issue so that there is a resolution. Their 1-800 customer service number is terrible to navigate as well. Getting a live agent is next to impossible without having to click over 15 options, none of which are to report mail delivery issues with the mail being incorrectly delivered. So apparently this location doesn't print shipping labels even though they've printed labels for me to ship out my packages a week prior. The fat little lady working the desk Karla was yelling at a senior because she didn't hear her ask for an ID which was pretty sad. She also claimed they don't print labels which I'm pretty sure she just doesn't know how to do. You probably shouldn't work here if you're incompetent of basic tasks or impatient. Poor thing. This is a really good post office. Sometimes the staff of other offices are not as knowledgeable and cannot answer questions. The staff here are well trained and very nice people. I went to the post office today because I had a package that was lost and I did a claim so they said i had to go in. When I got there they told me yo go talk to Thomas the supervisor. I went to go talk to him about the problem and he didn't even want to hear me out. He was sooo rude and told me he wasn't going to help me at all nor was he going to look into it. He kept looking at me up and down and I felt he discriminated me because of my appearance( I had showered and just put gym shorts and sandals and a t-shirt) but he just kept looking at me and just told me to basically go away, he wasn't going to even try to do anything about it and he slammed the window in my face. Update 12/27/22 1 pm Prince the manager here is besides himself and tells you he'll come out and talkes with you and NEVER DOES. The line goes to the end of the long hallway. Whould he care? 90 minutes lunch and totally hands off. This is the poorest run USPS facility you ever come across. It is so dirty, everything broken, doors shut during normal business hours. What does Prince do? Tottaly oblevious to it all. Amazon, FedEx, UPS are allowing, but here the fees go higher and the service gets diminished. None of these companies will tolerate Prince for five minutes. NONE Update on 12/28/20, 1:30 PM The door for receiving parcels are shut close, doorbell totally disabled. And no one responds to knocks. No one there.. There has not been a superintendent here for months. This facility is totally neglected. No supervisor or superintendent. Overwhelmed. I have been using this location for about 30 years and have know great many people, staff, behind the seen, tellers, supervisors and superintendents, including service window at the lobby. Mostly like family run business. However, Dana, the guy at the lobby service window has filled significantly. I hand him the pob dues two weeks before it's due with the exact amount billed, he takes the payment from me and puts back in my mail box with a hand written note that the system dies not take partial payment. On the day, I gave him the USPS issued payment envelop, he assures me that we will not close your mail box. Two weeks late I get a clouser notice email, go to the branch and pay $23 for late payment. A total of $35 out of pocket for his actions. Had I mailed the envelop in, it would have been accepted or at a minimum they would ask for any adjustment. Dana lost my trust and I dont think I'd be seeking his help anymore. At a minimum, he could have told me "sorry, I can't accept this envelop" instead of creating such undue havoc. Be aware. Four stars only because they parking lot is challenging and the location is small. Ten stars for the staff! They are very friendly, recognize their usual customers, and try to keep things moving (even when the line is out the door). There are several ladies at the counter that I see regularly and a gentleman at the drop off window who is always kind. They make sure they get it right for each customer and I really appreciate that care. This post office can get very busy and I usually have to stop by 3 to 5 days a week for work. Also, people are not good drivers, the parking lot is small and tight, and I'm pretty sure people park in here who are not going to the post office. That's not on the staff, it's on rude people who think they are more important than the actual customers of the business. The post office deserves our support and this location is great. read more

Ive been to tons of US Post office locations and ive had the horrible experience like we all have. But i came here, and the manager was super nice and was very helpful in locating my package. I was a bit shocked that US postal staff was kind and respectful and seeking to assist the customer. I told the manager that this is the best postal office ive been to and he acknowledged that we try to help and do our best! i wish all US postal offices were like this one. Line is fast having 3-4 frontliners available classified to cater different services. Super long wait, listening to employees chit chat in the back. I spent over $400 on acrylic wedding invitations, only for my guests to receive them damaged and CRACKED. Mind you, i upgraded to a thicker acrylic that's pretty tough to break. I included extra stamps on it because they assured me that extra stamps go through a different mailer machine that won't fold and bend envelopes in the process. I spent DAYS putting together wedding invitations for my guests, thinking everything would be ok with the reassurance they gave me that nothing would be damaged. I don't know how they handle their mail, if they sit on it, or toss it around like a frisbee, but I feel like I completely wasted my money with the way USPS handled my mail. So extremely upset, these are wedding invitations we're talking about. Not basic printer paper or post it sheets. read more

Had an issue with a package and not only was he super professional and helpful, he called me back later in the evening with an update! Unreal! If you live in the area, then do what I did. Have your packages sent somewhere else, otherwise, YOU WILL NEVER GET THEM! This place steals handful of packages. And, I assure you, this is not an assumption. I lived in the area for 8 months. Every package that was to arrive with USPS (about a total of 5) all went missing. All were shown to be "delivered" and none actually made it. Also, I was home during 3 of the 5 missing deliveries. No one ever came to the door, knocked. I didn't even hear the button being pressed upon delivery. Which only tells me, mailman didn't even walk to the door. All my FedEx and UPS packages made it fine, though. When I contacted them, they didn't care. Luckily, only ONE of the stores didn't refund me. The other 4 I had ordered from actually gave my money back. But it was unfortunate, that I had to order packages to arrive somewhere else, and then drive to pick it up from the house. Now, we moved out and I have mail being forwarded. I had a package accidentally get mailed to the old place. I called on the 13th of this month to have them forward it. They never called me back. I had to call back on the 15th, in which the guy stated he was "holding the package and would forward it right away". It's the 30th today. Guess what? No package. Also, I'd like to add it's an envelope package. So, no, it was not left outside to be stolen. It's at USPS. Or WAS at USPS. Now I believe one of their employees with sticky fingers is enjoying more of my stuff. read more

Catercornered to my high school alma mater, the Glendale-Verdugo location of the United States Postal Service has recently become my branch of choice solely because of my family's P.O. Box they used for their business as I've transitioned myself into taking it over. Now that I've become a "regular" and have quickly climbed the "check-in" charts, it was time they finally deserved a proper write up. How much can be said about this branch of the federal government...let's just see!: Duplicate P.O. Box Keys ($9.00 x 2) - It all started with the misplacement (and still unfound) key that led me to make a purchase here. Although the price tag seemed steep compared to your garden variety car, gate or house door keys, I accepted the fact that this particular type of key held extra security AND was being provided by the government...whom we knew was flat broke. So with a shrug, I willing paid and now I was the keeper of the box! Service - Over the years as I came here with my parents when I was younger I recalled an abundance of Filipino workers. Now that I was older I appreciated this as I beamed with national pride. With that being said, it was a Pinoy village at the counter! A very kind and affable older Filipina assisted my dad and I as she casually spoke Tagalog (I understood some but couldn't respond) to us. No more than a couple minutes went by before she appeared with two keys pulled from their files. Apparently, this was the first time duplicates were needed on this account so they had spares; otherwise, a 24-hour turnaround would've been needed. With some departing words, our transaction was done. Parking (Free) - They had a small and extremely tight private lot that contained 15 regular spots and 1 for the disabled. Depending on the time of day, you might be stuck in a long line that led out to the street. Otherwise, there was free parking on all the surrounding streets. For this branch, patience is everything. Atmosphere, décor, ambience - This was a considerably smaller post office compared to others I've visited in the area. Outside, they had two drive-up mailboxes side-by-side halfway through the parking lot. Inside, the outer lobby area housed two standard-size mail slots, one for huge packages, a machine to make any quick postage purchases, a ton of P.O. Boo to this location -- one of the worst post offices. Awful entrance with only one way to legally pull into its parking lot. You have to drive south on Verdugo road or risk a trip to ticketville. I also can't believe this post office doesn't sell stamps or have a scale (digital et'al) in the self-service, after hours lobby. Apparently, it's only good for dropping off mail, or for PO boxes. Get it together and offer something to us busy people that have to come 'after' hours! The main USPS up the street on Broadway is far superior in every way...which has a 'real' lobby 24/7/365. read more

A certified letter with a gift card was lost and management did not investigate the proper way and never got a solid credible answer. I called about my package multiple times and his answer was that the package "could not be located." Only one way to go into the parking lot, the other one is the exit. The parking lot is too small. The lines are too long. Always plan on standing in line for at least 15 min or more. The workers are really nice, but they don't talk much. I almost never go there but when I don't enjoy it. Gets the job done when needed, so its A-OK. This review is for this particular office. The people helping are helpful, and the line moves fairly well. The difficulty is that I sold something on ebay and bought expensive two day shipping to get it to the buyer as soon as possible. I paid more than the buyer paid for the shipping, and a week later the package has still not arrived, and there's no tracking information about it. Just that it was accepted a week ago. I tried to call for assistance three times today, at various times, and there was no answer. I had to go in myself. The parking lot was full, so I had to pull over to the side not to block the entrance. Some jerk dashed into my finally open spot, and when I told him I was about to go in that place, he made some asinine excuse and went in before me, ignoring the situation. I called him an asshole, and his local friends seemed appalled. I gave him the expected stinkeye, and he squeeked his situation to the postal worker, leaving his giant box of Porsche parts in the middle of the aisle for us to walk around. I got the sending address while I waited, so perhaps I'll pay him a visit and let him know more clearly how I felt about his selfish attitude. When I finally got through the long line and checked on the missing package, I was told by the nice lady that there's no guarantee on the two day priority, and that I'd just have to wait another few days to see if it arrives. I don't recommend this method of shipping, as it's way overpriced and I could have sent it overnight by UPS for that money. I'm very annoyed, as I used this office very frequently for shipping, and now am switching to UPS. Buh bye, USPS. You suck. read more

If you have a business youre running out of home and you arrange a scheduled pick ,don't rely on your scheduled pick up that the usps pays billions of dollars to put a bullshit commercial thats states " you can rely on us for your business packages ". You will have to call and make sure you speak to whats seems like Glendale high school students running the show here to call their driver to pick your packages up.... I know what youre thinking it happens everybody makes mistakes. Its wasnt 0nce , it wasnt twice, 3,4,5,6,7,8 shall i continue?
