Ongoing battle with the post office and postal carrier for the last three years. Repeatedly breaking packages or leaving them hanging out of the mailbox, which then gets stolen. I have documented every time it happens and shown them videos and pictures and they just don't care. Today I have to go in to the post office because the postal courier jammed a package in the delivery side of our mailbox and there's no way to open it without cutting the box or completely breaking the rest of the package. The package is a large bottle of supplements for my pregnant wife, which we have no way of accessing. Going to file a complaint and have the post office fix it and if they don't, I'm going to file a police report for vandalism of mailbox and hopefully press charges and get a lawsuit going. read more

Another misdelivered package. My package is in a parcel locker elsewhere and someone's package is in my parcel locker. Now, I have to lug the package to the main branch and drop it off while my package will be "lost". Amazon will likely refund me and pass on that expense to all other customers. How much does the USPS incompetence cost all of us. When given an opportunity to choose my delivery service, USPS is my absolute last choice. read more

I got an email notification that my packages were delivered. Status read "left in parcel locker". Yet when I checked my mailbox, no key was in my mailbox to open a parcel locker. So I printed out this attached proof of delivery and wrote a note to the mail person something like "I never received this. What parcel locker did you leave it in? Where is the key"? Etc... I taped it to the mailbox that they would have had to move to pick up outgoing mail. Today I checked the mail again. My note is gone but still no packages! And there's no Avenue online to file a complaint or report a missing package. This was an Amazon purchase and there's also no way to report on Amazon package not received. USPS - Proof of delivery that never happened - Post Offices Near Me - Bend, Oregon

Terrible. They say they delivered my packages, and then I do not get them until several days later. This particular postal worker has instructions to leave packages on my front porch, and not attempt to shove them in my old fashioned mail box where they will not fit. Well guess what, she once again shoved a package into my mail box which does not fit, and I cannot get it out. I called the postal office this postal worker works in, and surprise, surprise, even thought it is 12:15 noon, the manager is not there today, and the postal worker who delivers my mail is gone for the day. Not even a full day worked. I am unable to receive mail, because of the package this postal worker forced into my mail box and I cannot get it out. It will not budge. She could have gotten out of her vehicle and delivered it to the door, but no, they do not like doing that anymore. What ever happened to postal workers of old, who had good work ethics, and did their jobs properly!? If they do not want to do their work, which has become apparent in the last 4-5 years, why not just have them stay home and have their paychecks sent there!!!! Do I trust the person I called will send out the postal worker who delivered my package and forced it into my mail box? She claims she will send her out tomorrow to dislodge it. Never mind I won't be able to get mail today, but given the very perpetual poor customer service at this post office, I doubt that mail person who jammed the box into my mail box will remove it tomorrow. I don't understand why Amazon continues to allow the post office to deliver their stuff. I just received a notice from Amazon saying they had tried to deliver my packages but the mail box was full. May I add that I have a cluster mailbox (4x6") & the delivery was 2 cases of canned dog food, 4 boxes of baby food AND a 25 lb of hay! Don't bother calling. It'll ring forever and then go to a fast busy. I have to take time off of work to resolve my issue because they close at 3. Waited in line for about 20 minutes 12/3/20 to inquire about a missing package. When I finally get to the window and give them my tracking number, they say it went to dead mail and I have to contact the facility in GA. I ask for the number and am told they don't know it. This review is specifically about the USPS's Bend DCU office on Business Way. This office has received criticism in the past but my experience with the folks who work there has always been positive. I stopped by today to express some concerns about the quality of my delivery service at both my home and work addresses. After speaking with Lance, I came away feeling like my problems were important to him and that they would be addressed. This is a busy place and I've often felt bad for the folks at the window who, from time-to-time, have to deal with frustrated customers through no fault of their own. It's never struck me as an easy job to work there. I always try to keep that in mind while I'm waiting in line. read more

They leave my packages in a parcel locker that is impossible to open this has been a issue for several years. I had a parcel that I needed like now and can't open the box. There is no way to get a hold of them after 3:00 so irritated right now. I am sure I am not the only person this has happened to looks like a new lock with an old key to open it. read more

I am rating this so highly because of Ashley! She has gone above and beyond to help me track down a package when the delivery guy was having so much trouble understanding where to deliver the package. This poor woman must get the s&@$ end of the stick all day with angry people not getting mail and she has to sort it out even though it is not her fault to begin with! She gives clear instructions and does it with a smile. I haven't seen someone so competent in any business in a long time. Please be kind when you go in! Terrible service and clueless employees. I never asked for a service they don't provide just a little extra effort to find something they lost, and when i did I'm surprised the women at the counter didn't just roll over and play dead. Which she basically did anyway. It's like they have a policy that if a problem arises just play dumb and if that doesn't work redirect with false statements and bold faced lies blaming anyone but your establishment. "Well that has nothing to do with this office". Did you know you can find out exactly where priority mail express is. Especially if it's on a truck because the drivers have to sign for that shit. So yes they can find a package that you are expecting in two days and paid for to be delivered in two days. Not 3 or 4 days. Overall the usps is outdated under funded and should be privatized so we can get some accountability. read more

I have always been treated kindly at the 4th St. post office. Sometimes the wait is irritating, but that is not the fault of the clerks. They are "dancing" as fast as they can. Maybe if the complainers approached the clerks with a smile instead of a scowl, their experience would be different. My only complaint is the machine at the entrance. You can easily lose your money because the stamps don't always come out after you purchase them. It clearly needs to be replaced. read more

No matter how busy the lobby is....they are always so calm and polite. I have seen these people get yelled at for sh** that was totally out of their control. Who ever is in charge of the location 836 SE Business Way in Bend, Oregon should be FIRED! I own a Business and I have not seen my Mail Carrier for 5 days now. Since you are not able to get through their phone number and it says they are waiting on other customers is total BS! They were waiting on NO ONE and they still will not pick up. No way to leave a message for a call back! So I had to close my Business and go face to face with the lowest paid person there. She was supper sweet and nice and she did not deserve the issue at hand. This Mgr should not have a job at the end of this day! Total BS and lying and will not come out from behind the wall and makes the lowest paid employee deal with this crap. They are back there and they are to chicken to do their job! I go to the 4th street post office every week to pick up mail. I bring my daughter who is 4 with me, she has some delays and that includes in listening. She has bursts of anger and fits as well. Usually the workers are very patient with me and my child. They let her look at all the cards on the wall and "read" them. Today was different. I had multiple employees as well as customers telling me I'm an irresponsible parent, that if I cant handle her that there are people out there that will, I even had a lady say that I was just lazy and didnt want to take the blame for why she has issues. I asked an employee if they had a bathroom where my daughter could go, and she proceeded to tell me it was for paying customers. I felt discriminated, that my child was once again look at as the trouble child. This is not how you treat customers. I will only be going back to pick up my mail, and for nothing else. Paid for 2-day delivery because I needed an item for work. Tracking tells me my package is out for delivery. I check my mailbox (extra-large box big enough for small shipments) has 5 pieces of junk mail and no package. I look at tracking again, it says the driver couldn't get to my "mailbox, door or porch" and to "look for a note from the driver". No package. No note from driver. Literally NO REASON the driver couldn't get to my porch aside from complete laziness. I guarantee that when I go down to the office tomorrow and pick it up myself it will be small enough to have fit in my mailbox.THIS HAPPENS EVERY TIME I GET A PACKAGE THROUGH USPS. This is absolutly the worst establishment I have ever dealt with!! No exaggeration they have lost 10 packages in a row over the past year!! I cringe every-time I have to deal with USPS in Bend Or and I can guarantee that some driver will say the package is delivered every-time and then I have to call them and track it down because it wasn't actually delivered. I live in an apartment and they have left $1500 microphones outside my door for anyone to take, they have delivered expensive computer components to the wrong apartment in the wrong building and even had them sign for it!!! Wouldn't you check ID!!! There is an office that will accept the packages! There is a mail box at the front of the street!! UPS and FEDEX never have a problem why cant you people do your jobs!! You are incompetent!! Ive called every time and had to come in in person while this place takes days to locate my lost packages!! Ten times this has happened!! Its mind boggling!! How hard is it to leave a delivery notice so that I can pick it up from the ship center!! There are so many options!! Leave it at the office with the appartment managers. Put it in my mailbox! Leave me a delivery notice if im not there! Don't mark it delivered when it isnt delivered!!
