Was in a few days ago and spent over $200 on shipping. Came back today to send a return and was told I could buy tape or pay $3 to have him put two pieces of tape on my box. Poor customer service if you ask me. Also just not a friendly to the customer. I will take my business elsewhere. Sad because it's a convenient place. read more

Worst customer service I've experienced at any shipping store. Even though they ship FedEx, USPS, UPS....they won't give a tracking receipt and they don't take Amazon UPS returns. Their responses to what I needed were short, dismissive, and clearly annoyed. Waste of a trip. We won't be using this store for any of our business or personal shipping and office needs. read more

These people are wonderful! Not only am I (and my friends who also go there) greeted with cheery words, but they do wonderful work. They have done posters and postcards for a charity organization to which I belong (including help with design and orientation). They do copying, accept email to copy, and wrap packages. There are many other things like personal mailboxes but I only commented on the ones I have used. We are blessed to have their services. read more

In a time where kindness matters more than anything, we did not find any kindness here. We came first thing on a Monday morning to help an ill family member notarize some documents. We are from out of state and this was the only time we would be able to be here in person to help him get this done. He has no one here to help. We understand that in a lot of cases notaries require appointments but we didn't have a lot of notice to do so. It would be nice if they added "by appointment only" verbiage to their signage. On top of that, while here with our family member, another family member just ended up in the ICU back home in our state, causing us to have to get everything done as quickly as possible on Monday morning. To the manager who was working and wouldn't help us: you never know what people have going on. We understand it may have been an inconvenience for you. You didn't try to meet us halfway, offer apologies or try to help us find another spot that will help. None of this I'm sure is in your job description. But if anyone has ever shown you an act of kindness and gone just a little bit out of their way, you may understand the power of that. For us, after a weekend of no sleep and family medical emergencies in two states, this one small act of kindness would have been everything. Unfortunately we had to find that elsewhere. Went in to mail a dozen small manila envelopes with promo materials in them. I have mailed these same packages numerous times from home using stamps.com as well as from the post office. They usually range $1.50-$3 a piece. Today was the first time I've ever tried this location. The girl working the counter was not the most capable. When she finally gets one of my envelopes on the scale she tells me it'll cost $7.50 to mail it. It had a card, a thin mini measure tape and a magnet inside...weighs less than 6oz... She informed me that it'd have to be mailed at package rate. I didn't mail my envelopes today, I'll take them to the post office tomorrow and save $6 PER package. This place is a rip off. read more

I've used this company to ship quite a few packages over time and prior to this transaction we would probably have given them a 3 or 4 star rating. They are overpriced and the owner (Joyce) is someone who regular customers try to avoid dealing with This transaction: We went into postal connections to send a package of clothes to my nephew and niece. Tim, was assisting us and when it came time to give them the address Tim asked if it was being sent to our friend Patrick (someone we sent to before, so the address was on file). My wife told him no it was being sent to Evan. An address was never asked for, which we assumed meant that Evan's address was on file as well. Fast forward a week and the kids are asking if we sent their school cloths to them yet. We pull out the receipt to get the tracking number to check on the package and find out that they sent it to Patrick's house. Someone at Patrick's house didn't recognize Evan's name and sent it back. At this point we call up Postal Connections. We talk to Tim, who is sympathetic and agrees that he made a mistake. We track down the package and find out it will be returned shortly. We got a pink note in our mailbox saying to come to the post office and pick it up. I get to the post office and they tell me it will cost $32 to pick it up and another $32 to send it back down to Evan (this is less than half of what we paid to send it in the first place). I ask them to hold it and head over to postal connections to see how they will assist in dealing with this honest mistake. Tim is working. I start to talk to him and he says that none of this happened. He said it is impossible that he put down the wrong address and that we gave him the wrong address. I tried to explain that it was less possible to give him the wrong address as Patrick's address would have to be looked up and we lived at Evan's address. At this point he basically calls us liars and says we must have sent the package to the wrong address intentionally... Long story short, after charging us over double to ship a package and making a mistake on the address, they refuse to do anything to rectify their mistake. This is how they treat frequent customers. Don't do business with this company. I used to think that the extra price was worth it for the convenience and personal attention, but it turns out that they wont even stand behind their service. read more

Buyer beware! You must read! No joy in this story. No responsibility on the part of Postal Connections. Dec. 13th. Joyce was our counter person. We dropped off and paid for three packages. Each CLEARLY had their own individual address labels to Ohio, Montana and California. UPS tracking numbers proves Joyce sent two of our packages to Ohio! Thursday Dec. 20th we spoke to Susie at Postal Connections who stated they could take no action until Joyce was back in the office next Monday which is Christmas Eve! Completely unacceptable especially because it is NOT true. We were caused to do the leg work ourselves trying to track down how to get our Christmas presents back to us and into the hands of the waiting children who cannot open their gifts on Christmas. We found out UPS will schedule a pickup to return our package to Postal Connections for another fee out of our own pocket plus we were incorrectly charged shipping fees in the first place to Ohio vs California. What a mess and over the Holidays too?! "Really Susie?". "You can't do any thing to fix this?". Why are we teaching you how to run your business! Hey Joyce are you the owner? is this the best you can train your employee? Errors and mistakes happen. Cleaning up your mistakes is the key. Let's see what happens. read more

Joyce Jones the Owner of Postal Connections is by for the most selfless and loving people I have ever met. Every time I go into her store I feel like family, and she has personally gone out of her way to make shipping as easy as possible for me. In the past I have gone to the Post Office and had to buy a whole roll of tape, a whole pack of labels, and wait in a ridiculous line to get treated terribly by the Post Office staff. At Postal Connections there is literally tape for everyone to use for free, they print a label every time, and the staff are always extremely helpful. In my opinion the Redmond Postal Connections is a great reflection of the genuine niceness, authenticity, and warm local feel that you expect in Central Oregon. I won't go anywhere else for shipping!! Love you all Postal Connections team! read more

Found out they charge almost 3 times the cost of going a couple blocks to the post office for stamps and shipping...when I questioned the owner she said " i can and will charge anything I want to"! She knows she is ripping people off and doesn't care! I called other "small" shipping establishments in the area and they all charged what the actual post office does...do not go here unless you want to overpay by a lot and wait longer then the lost office for service. read more

Will not allow you to just plug your flash drive in to the printer to print of resumes. They MAKE you use their computers to print anything. I paid 4 dollars for one sheet of paper... terrible customer service and they will argue with you. Totally negate whatever you say. read more

If you are looking to ship a package in Redmond I recommend going to either the local post office or Redmond Mail Depot...AVOID Postal Connections at all costs. I have attempted to do business here twice, both times the customer service was severely lacking as the very young staff members they have working have been down right RUDE. They are also not the only issues as the prices are sky high, not only on basic supplies, but on shipping too. To ship a small package from Redmond OR to Bend OR I was quoted $8.50 and immediately requested my package back, I then went to our local post office and for the same exact package was only charged $3.25. Save your money and your sanity and avoid Postal Connections. read more

Oh My God !! no responsibility for what they do!! I had 2 sculptures shipped and one was damaged when I opened the box. Fed ex denied the claim because there was no damage to the box. Postal Connections wiped their hands and walked away stating they packed everything correctly!!! Obviously not! Things happen you need to take responsibilty for what you do!! Aside for overcharging for the services. I would go out of my way to avoid these people. read more
