They welcome moves to make the line run quickly (setting down prepaid packages for example) and go above and beyond - a young man spent about 10 minutes taking down every large box they had so I could find the perfect fit to ship a saddle without paying a unnecessary penny just a few weeks ago. I never thought I'd put so much thought into a UPS store lol but when you compare it to the train wreck on Century, this store deserves a shoutout.

The gentleman at the counter told us they were already "closing shop" and that we would need to go somewhere else or come back another day because notarizations take a long time. I understand not wanting to start a lengthy transaction right at closing, but we arrived more than 40 minutes beforehand and only needed one document notarized. If notary services stop well before the posted closing time, that should be clearly communicated to customers. Unfortunately, this did not feel like a good way to handle business or provide customer service.

I was informed that the email address had changed and I was pointed to the new address. Then I was informed that it costs $2 to print a shipping label. I asked what a regular copy costs. "$.50" Look, this is their place, if they want to charge $100 to print a tax form that is their prerogative, but looking at what I want to print then deciding what to charge disgusts me. I hope charging 4x is worth it to the (possibly new) owners since they have lost all of my goodwill.

Only times I've seen lines out the door were during Covid distancing, holidays and the week after for returns. Even then they always staffed both registers. And it is unreasonable for people to be angry they don't accept non box holder packages. There literally is not room now that they take Amazon returns. Jenn in particular is fantastic and deserves a raise. I would have switched my mailbox to a more convenient store but she is friendly, funny, and runs the store like a boss.

I can't recommend Jacki enough…read more I live several hours away from the person I needed to have served, so I was completely dependent on finding someone local who I could trust. I was also on a bit of a time crunch, and as soon as I called her, she jumped into action. She literally headed to the courthouse right away to help me get everything I needed. Even though we weren't able to serve the person on the first attempt, Jacki still went above and beyond. She looked up my case, helped me figure out what my options were, and even took my paperwork to the sheriff's office so they could continue attempting service. She absolutely did not have to do that, and it saved me so much time, stress, and another trip. She kept me updated throughout the whole process, answered every question I had, and was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. On top of that, her pricing was more than fair. Every time I go into her store I feel like family, and she has personally gone out of her way to make shipping as easy as possible for me. In the past I have gone to the Post Office and had to buy a whole roll of tape, a whole pack of labels, and wait in a ridiculous line to get treated terribly by the Post Office staff. At Postal Connections there is literally tape for everyone to use for free, they print a label every time, and the staff are always extremely helpful. In my opinion the Redmond Postal Connections is a great reflection of the genuine niceness, authenticity, and warm local feel that you expect in Central Oregon. Ongoing battle with the post office and postal carrier for the last three years. Repeatedly…read morebreaking packages or leaving them hanging out of the mailbox, which then gets stolen. I have documented every time it happens and shown them videos and pictures and they just don't care. Today I have to go in to the post office because the postal courier jammed a package in the delivery side of our mailbox and there's no way to open it without cutting the box or completely breaking the rest of the package. The package is a large bottle of supplements for my pregnant wife, which we have no way of accessing. Going to file a complaint and have the post office fix it and if they don't, I'm going to file a police report for vandalism of mailbox and hopefully press charges and get a lawsuit going.
