Be wary, people are adding reviews for the wrong location, describing people who don't work here. I can't speak for the other stores but the Century location has always had exceptional service, and I go there frequently. Only times I've seen lines out the door were during Covid distancing, holidays and the week after for returns. Even then they always staffed both registers. And it is unreasonable for people to be angry they don't accept non box holder packages. There literally is not room now that they take Amazon returns. Jenn in particular is fantastic and deserves a raise. I would have switched my mailbox to a more convenient store but she is friendly, funny, and runs the store like a boss. read more

Omg such rudeness today just before 10am. There was a line literally out the door and I had two commercially labeled prepaid packages, no receipt required. So I walked up the counter and said "setting ready to gos down here" with a smile and no expectations of the cashier. She snapped, "you gotta wait in the line!!" For what?! Setting down ready to go packages, and bypassing the line, that don't need a receipt is absolutely common practice anywhere. Especially when there were about 6 people with untaped boxes, loose items, forms, bewildered expressions, the works, in the gigantic line. I left and will drop them at another UPS. Like I know they probably don't care about that lol, but given that these are independently owned stores, perhaps you'd want to run politely and efficiently. Every time I have had to deal with the younger, dark haired lady at this UPS store, she is always incredibly demeaning and snarky. She acts like we should know all the rules for UPS and all the different ways in which you were supposed to return something when in actuality, it is incredibly different for every single package and every single store for that matter,. I live less than five minutes from the store so it could be incredibly convenient. I have called on numerous occasions for information and have yet to have any call answered. Their msg says "leave a message and they will call back ". I have yet to receive a response from any msg that I have left. The rudest staff of any UPS store I have ever been to. It is clear none of the staff wants to be there and they act they act as though you are putting them out. I had a package that needed a label. I was the only customer. The staff person told me to pick up a plastic envelope and adhere the label myself while he stood there and watched me. That's one of many examples. It should have been so easy!!! DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION for access point delivery. Our departure from town was delayed a day as this store refused delivery. It is a franchise and can do as it pleases and only accepts packages for box holders. Extremely frustrating and got lucky that package was still at the UPS hub. read more

This review is specifically for Jen - the store manager of this UPS Store. My dad got into a a huge accident near Bend and he had 5 boxes of very expensive wine in the car with him. Luckily the wine did not break but we had to get the wine shipped back to us in California from Oregon. Jen probably spent close to 2 hours working with us making sure the wines were properly packed, insured and sent out. She helped us with the boxes and advised us on the safest and most cost effective way to ship the wine. Jen was empathic, kind, and was wonderful all around. We are SUPER grateful for her help. I'm not exaggerating when I say this might be the worst UPS location the entire country. I honestly mean it. The kid they had working behind the desk on 9/11/22 was quiet frankly a complete a**shole. There's just no other way to describe him. Poor customer service is one thing. Have been going there the last three years and always found them very efficient and helpful. Yesterday I had a particularly great customer service experience with Addie and decided to post this review. I came in with many (9-10) boxes to be taped up (by me) and she jumped in and helped me secure the boxes and kept track of everything. Took about 10 min for something that could have taken me half an hour or more. Which is great because I made it to my subsequent doctors appointment on time! I cannot wrap my head around this location. UPS is usually typically great and I like that they are independently owned and operated. Well, I guess maybe that's why this place is what it is - the other reviews are dead on - the customer service is atrocious. Honestly never had anyone so rude. Went in for a notary signature with all signature pages (no documents) because the agreements weren't final yet and signatures were going into escrow. The clerk demanded to see the documents and "skim them for accuracy". What? Authenticate the signature and move on - I don't need a notary matching the document to the signature page. Conveyed that I've had signature pages sent in escrow without attached documents (i.e. sending 5 pages instead of 500) and she responds "Nope.", closes her book, turns her back, walks back behind the counter and into the back. The clerk at the front just looks at me and says very lightly "sorry". Flabbergasted, just completely floored. read more

My local UPS store meets my needs. I'm in there a dozen times or so a year, lots of shipping of gifts for holidays, birthdays, etc. My info is in the computer, they measure what I'm shipping, offer me my shipping options and I'm done. Pretty seamless and quick transactions. The owner has even bailed me out when I came up short on a purchase which I thought was really nice. It was only a dollar, but a dollar is a dollar. We also have a post office box there for our business and have never had any issues. I agree with Elle D. on the international shipping deal. I tried to send something to Spain and it was so challenging that I gave up and went to the post office. They probably do it so infrequently, but meanwhile, some additional training on how to do this would be helpful. read more

Recently the service at this store has deteriorated. I took an Amazon return there and had 2 prepaid USPS envelopes to drop in their mailbox. I asked the clerk if that was the proper location to drop them and she said I would be charged a dollar for each one !!!!! I never heard of that and complained bitterly. Honestly the USPS does not charge yu to mail letters. So the clerk said in a rather snippy tone, "Well, I won't charge this time, but if you do it again you have to pay". The other thing I think is inappropriate is that now there are tip jars by each service desk. Really? They are just doing their job there. Why should they get a tip? Terrible customer service and ridiculous pricing. Today I brought them a UPS box and the young woman at the counter wouldn't even say hello or acknowledge me, just looked at me like I was garbage. Judging from the reviews, others have had the same experience, but management has done nothing about it. Be aware that they mark up USPS rates to almost DOUBLE what you pay online or at the PO. It's unbelievable. And now they will charge you a $1/per package fee when you drop off any USPS mail with a prepaid label. For what? Letting packages sit in a box in their store so USPS can pick them up? They have to do NOTHING for that $1 charge. This was the last time I'll set foot in this store. The downtown USPS office always has nice, friendly clerks who actually say hello to you and do their jobs without acting like you're the enemy. I'll go there. read more

I used to go here on a regular basis. I recently received a call saying a package had been returned after several MONTHS because the recipient had moved. The recipient had NOT moved. However, when I went to the store to pick up the package and resend it because I assumed it was an honest mistake, the manager (woman in her 20s) started off by saying they would not resend it because it was not their fault and my recipient had moved. I tried to tell her the recipient hadn't moved but she rudely said it's not their problem. No worries, going to that store isn't my problem any more. read more

This place is awful. Incredibly rude staff were yelling at customers about store capacity when I walked in the door. I got to the counter and was told that they were going to charge me 3$ for a printing label, when the return I had already initiated said that they'd be able to print the shipping label for me, or just scan the QR code in my return email. I was quoted a rate for a package from UPS by phone and online. The rep recommended I take package to the retail location to ship. I sent a colleague to ship and the store charged an additional $ 120.00 over the rate quoted. I called to asked why and ask for a refund. The store personnel were rude and would not correct the over billings even after we confirmed the correct rate online and by phone. BEWARE read more

I go to school at OSU-Cascades, and this location is conveniently right down the street from campus. It's easy to get to, the store is always clean, and the staff are friendly. They're very clear about the nature and amount of charges you can expect from their services, contrary to what another reviewer posted. I use their personal mailbox service, and get email notifications when I receive mail or packages (a service I signed up for and can be changed). They do sign for and accept packages from all carriers with the personal mailbox service; which is great if your household won't have someone to sign for packages during business hours, or if you live in an apartment building where you can't trust your neighbors not to steal or tamper with your packages. I paid for a full year of PMB service, and will renew when it's up. read more

The last few times I sent anything from here I was told by the UPS representative that it would take me up to 30 days to get the same envelope or package delivered via the US Postal Service. That is at best highly misleading and at worst a total lie. The US Postal Service has successfully delivered packages and envelopes for me within 1 - 7 days, and frequently with a guaranteed delivery date. UPS' practice of telling its customers that the US Postal Service is unreliable in delivering mail is anticompetitive conduct designed to take away customers from the US Postal Service and--in my opinion--this conduct is in VIOLATION of State and Federal Antitrust Laws. I read reviews on this store and ignored them. I'm sorry I did because I dropped off a box using a "Smart Label" generated from the retailer website. which means it can ship through USPS. Dropped it off and it disappeared, the store keeps 0 record of handling postal boxes. It was never scanned by the post office. It contained $$$ clothes. I'm pretty sure they're running a scam in this shop. I would never trust them with my stuff again. read more

Time after time - horrible customer service. Absolutely no experience mailing international packages that are abnormal size. Today I dropped off a pre-paid item and the young woman (very distinct two toned hair) took it then began processing it(?) in the computer - never said a word. After standing there for a minute or two without acknowledgement - I said, I don't need a receipt, thank you". Thinking that's what she was doing with the computer. Instead, she looked up and sarcastically said, "Um....OH-Kay" I left and not one of the three ever said anything other than the response to the receipt. I was the only customer. It's worth it to me to go to the location off Third Street or to the downtown post office. I'm not coming back for more. Save yourself the wait (because if they have more than 2 customers, it takes forever) and take the extra drive - it's not as convenient as you think to come here. They obviously know they have the monopoly on the Westside and their customer service reflects it. read more
