Last month I was looking for a storage unit to store some extra furniture and boxes. My brother told me about U.S. Storage Centers and I checked them out given the location - I live in Manhattan Beach. Ana was working that day and like other reviewers have mentioned, she was incredibly helpful - from start to finish. Not only was she helpful in getting me signed up, she also provided some tips on where to sell used furniture (Offer Up and 5 Miles apps). You could tell that she cares about her customers. If you are looking for a storage unit, definitely come to the U.S. Storage Centers in Hawthorne. read more

Benson, the property manager, set me up with a storage unit. He was very helpful and answered all my questions. It was very easy to pick out a unit. If you know ahead of time what size you need and how much you want to spend, it will be very quick and easy. Elevators and carts make it to get to my unit. And they have music piped in to the buildings with the units. Sweet R&B soul music to listen to while you load in/out. read more

Worst experience ever. I have multiple storage units with different companies, I am satisfied with all of them except this one. I went from paying 112 to 208 in less than 10 months. Besides the fact that I could never use the only restroom because it was always out of service or so management said. No dumpster to throw trash. Carts were all broken and elevator will always brake down. Awful experience. I took the issue with management but nothing was done. Regarding my insane increase in rent all they said in a letter was that it was due to "inflation" you got to be kidding me! Worst company ever. Would never recommend to anyone. read more

Very accommodating at finding unit that fits needs and pricing as well. Very friendly customer service and easy access to storage units.

WARNING! If you have valuable or sentimental items, do not store them at the US Storage Hawthorne facility. Our storage unit was broken into and ransacked!!! We were heartbroken to find that all of our treasured Christmas items and holiday decorations were stolen, along with childhood memories on home videos and other sentimental items that can never be replaced. Valuable sporting goods and camping equipment were stolen also. We trusted US Storage to be safe and secure, with a so called alarmed unit, which means nothing, by the way. We were also shocked that the management didn't seem to sympathize with our loss and the system in place to track entry was not working, so there was no way to pinpoint when our burglary happened. US Storage failed us and we feel the need to warn others about what happened here. read more

I can't thank Benson enough! Moving in Los Angeles can be very stressful, but Benson helped make sure it went smoothly. My apartment wasn't going to be ready for another week, so I needed to put my stuff in storage until then. After looking at several others that were extremely over priced and not to mention inaccessible unless during business hours; Benson got a storage unit set up immediately after we arrived at the office. Thank you Benson! Highly recommend. read more
