Over the years, when I've needed storage space, I always come here. Antwon is so friendly and helpful. Even when I have had situations that don't fit perfectly within their methods, he has found creative ways to get me what I need and still fit within policy. I really enjoy working with him and have come back to this specific location because of that. I end up visiting my unit on occasion, simple things out or put things in and no matter what time of day, the space is always impeccably clean, tempered , and feels safe. I have just moved out of Southern California and closed out my account. I recommend Extra Space Storage and this location specifically whenever someone asks. read more

Signed a one-year lease here. Sign-up was great -- friendly staff, matched the lower prices I found online -- but that's not the experience once you're actually a customer. Two issues: the front door has been broken, which isn't a small thing at a storage facility. And when I came by at my usual time to drop something off, I was told access cuts off 15 min before posted closing -- contradicting both the app hours and what I was told at signup. When I mentioned I'd never had this problem before, the staff member's tone got rude and condescending, in front of my 7-year-old. Be consistent with your advertised hours and train staff to handle policy questions professionally. Would think twice before recommending this location read more

Had a unit for over a year here, company all of a sudden DOUBLED my rent for a tiny 5x5. Called to ask about it and the lady wouldn't even let me speak, just constantly interrupting about how "the fires made things expensive" (the fires from 2 years ago mind you), and "everyone's getting their units doubled". read more

Frankie, the so called store manager is so rude and unprofessional. I called to have my items stored and she just started being so negative telling me about what past customers have done to abuse the 1 month free term. Then I proceeded to say I'm a long standing client in another state and she mentioned hoppers. Something I have no intend doing. This lady has got to go be fired she acts like a child. read more

December 30, 2024 | received this injury due to this protruding foot-long piece of metal Sticking from the wall around a blind corner. I asked for a Band-Aid in the front office, and was scoffed at. "We don't give customers bandaids. Do you think we're a Pharmacy?" I had to go to the emergency room, Had to get a tetanus shot, Had to go on antibiotics, missed two weeks of work, and now six weeks later have a lifelong scar. Extra Space storage? Their response has been "Lady go f$&k off." Even their employees (Look online) Say the worst part about their job is how aggressive they are towards customers. And there's a class Action suit against them for their bait and switch tactics. Not "good" Mormons who run this Utah corp! I need a good personal injury / property negligenc Lawyer. Google " Extra Space storage class action lawsuits." There are many. They are Corporate abusers of consumers. These assholes don't deserve your business read more

I was rush deciding on what to do with helping my mom declutter her garage. I decided to rent a unit very late at night and over the next two days realized I didn't need it after all. I tried to call but the line was busy and I forgot. Robert called me back leaving a voicemail apologizing for missing my call since he was on the line with another customer that I missed. I finally found time to call and Robert remembered me via their automated system and provided excellent customer care. I assumed that I would have eaten the cost of my hastiness so I had only called to inquire about ending my lease. But instead, Robert helped me with issuing a refund since I never even physically checked in. I'm very grateful. If I need a storage space, I'm definitely coming to this location. read more

Worst attitude towards clients from office worker. I am a client for years, about 5. As courtesy, I let the lady at the front that someone forgot to lock their unit because, I forgot to lock it before and I was informed by Antwan that I forgot to lock my unit. I was paying the favor back. She told me that she did not like MY TONE. Chris from another unit that I have confirmed that I never gave a bad tone of voice to anyone ever. She does not have good people skills or good customer service. She doesn't really care about people's units. read more

From the moment my partner and I walked in, Ms. Frankie made what could've been a stressful day feel smooth and manageable. I was feeling unsure about what size storage unit would best suit our needs, but she was patient, informative, and incredibly helpful. She didn't rush us, she actually took the time to walk my partner and me to several units, helping us visualize the space and making a recommendation based on exactly what we had. What truly stood out was her attention to detail and genuine care. She went above and beyond by informing us that the second elevator at the facility can sometimes be unreliable, and suggested we consider a unit closer to the third elevator. Sure enough, when our movers came to drop off our items, the second elevator was out of service. Thanks to her thoughtful advice, we avoided a major delay and saved ourselves a lot of time and frustration. Ms. Frankie is a gem, professional, knowledgeable, and caring. If you're looking for storage space and want someone who truly has your back, ask for Frankie. She made a huge difference in our moving experience! read more

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the customer service I received from Frankie at this location! She stayed past their closing time to assist me with a last minute reservation and was patient and kind in helping me see the unit, obtain a lock, and fill out the paperwork. Frankie made sure that when I left that day I felt secure and stress free! I love how safe the unit feels and how easy it is for me to access and manage. I got a unit for vehicle storage while leaving the country for an extended period of time. Now I don't have to worry about parking, break ins, or the security of my car and belongings. read more

Superb customer service from Antwan! Antwan went above and beyond to help my family and I find the best storage.

I never used storage before so I was a little overwhelmed. I looked at some options on line but decided to come in and view the facility before I made a final decision. The location was very clean with many cameras which was a good sign. Customer service was amazing which sold me. Anderson walked me through all of the different options for my specific needs and helped me with some promotions that I didn't see online. I'm so glad I came in because I got a better value and the conversation helped me pick the best option for me. Definitely recommend this. read more

Recommend this storage place because it's a great place to go if you need extra storage for your needs, a clean place to go to, and has a great manager that takes care not only of the storage area but he also goes out of his way to fulfill your every need, answer your every question and show you everything you want to see. Antwan and Chris are great at taking care of you and the facility!! I moved to this storage facility because the hours are longer. When I got the tour, i noticed right away how well mantained the place is! The rates are fair and an extra hours of operation makes a huge difference! I highly recommend this place! I stared with one unit and now I have two and bigger! read more

The service here is terrible. The service from the call center is terrible. Stated that there office hours on Sunday are from 6:00AM to 8:00PM. When we get to the location there is no one in the office and the front door says closed on Sunday. I have no way to access my storage space, because we needed a code to enter the building and elevator. We have a U'haul full of our house furniture. Their inaccurate posted hours have completely wasted my Sunday. It's yet to be seen how much additional this is going to cost me. Now I have to take off from work Monday to move my furniture into a storage after I take my kid to school on the opposite side of town. read more

Stored my stuff for three months and all went great. Antwan in the office is super helpful. Location is great.

Came here one day after having a bad day to find the place closing up for lunch and boy was I upset. However, Antoine was very respectful and handled the situation very well and very helping and helped me with the info I needed. I did rent a unit and the facility is clean and safe and everything was well explained and the experience was great! This was my first time going to an Non U-Haul facility and I was greatly pleased! Thank you! read more

After moving in with my fiancee, we needed a place to store our extra stuff, so we turned to Extra Space Storage. They have the best price per cubic foot compared to other storage companies I researched that were highly reviewed. Antawn, the main rep at their East El Segundo facility, gave me a tour of he property and I was impressed with the security and cleanliness. Extra Space bought the property a year or two ago and renovated it, and it still looks brand new. Since I signing the rental agreement a few months ago I've been back to the storage facility 1 to 2 times a week to move stuff in and out, and everything has gone smoothly. Their keypad access system means I have a private, unique code i can use to enter the property, so I never have to worry about losing a key or card. The keypad controls access to the entry door, elevator and vehicle gate, so there are multiple layers of security to help prevent tailgaters. Extra Space also provides carts to use during office hours, which makes moving items in and out much easier. The location is also in a quiet, upper middle class part of town, which gives me peace of mind. So far, renting here has been a great decision. read more

Very nice customer service was very well put together called me right away I came in and they already knew who I was because I told him the time I was coming paperwork was done very fast and efficient and I was very pleased with the customer service read more

Unethical! They have a very clear issue with theft, and absolve themselves of any responsibility in their rental agreement. The lease agreement actually says "Operator exercises neither care, custody, nor control over customer's stored property and all property stored within the space or at the facility by customer shall be stored at customer's sole risk". They might as well have all the doors wide open and bags over the video cameras. Should anything happen to your unit, they won't call, and will happily continue to collect your rent. When I filed a police report, the officer said it happens all the time at this location. When I filed a BBB complaint, they replied with the leasing agreement, saying they're not liable and they won't issue any kind of refund. They do not take any responsibility for the service they provide, and do absolutely nothing to protect their customers. On the BBB site, they they have 141 reviews, with a 1.35 rating out of 5. read more

Overall, not a bad location. However, the manager Antwan is very rude. Talks over you, tries to assert authority, but you are the customer. Remember it's your money and no one deserves to be treated so poorly. He does not take any ownership or responsibility for his actions. I do not recommend working with him now or in the future. Please take your money and items to a place where you will be respected and get a fair breakdown of costs! read more

One of the best experiences I've had. Antwan was the best. I made an online reservation for a 5x5 but upon arriving and looking at the space it was too small and he was wonderful in helping me get the right size space.
