We toured different sizes and discussed what exactly we needed so he could recommend what size would be best. The whole facility is very clean and easily accessible. Storage is clean and relatively new. Promotion is not that impressive because they do charge a lot for the same size storage. Picked it primarily for convenience. Staff initially is helpful. But after contract is signed the managers attitude changed 360 degree. She confrontationally told me to wait for my movers to finish moving my stuff in the storage before I can leave. Reminds me or those student days having to deal with a nit picky landlord. We are customers, not a tenant receiving some kind of cheap rent at the price of dealing with the landlady's attitude. I've used other storage places before, and they never requested the tenant to be present with the movers the whole time. It is a strange policy. Very unreasonable. Really, who has time to stay the whole one + hour to wait for the movers to finish moving? Normally when the movers are close to finishing, then I come to the storage to lock everything up. My time is precious. Awful policy. Luckily it's month by month, not a whole year commitment. I may consider calling it quits after the first month. read more
