Great place to park your RV or truck. Many spaces with plenty of room to move around. Staff is very friendly with lots to offer tenants. Ice machines are offered at no extra charge and firewood to purchase. Only negative thing to say is no real access from the freeway. My storage place got sold. I reserved a spot with a $200 deposit. They want $458 a month for that spot...which should be criminal. Talk about price gouging. Anyway, I found a better, cheaper, bigger spot in Upland. Called to get refunded the $200 and they refused. Straight up theft. Karma definitely coming their way. Not the way to do business. I've been with McBrides for nine years-really enjoyed the amenities and the women in the office were great to work with. Then, as others have stated, I received my notice that my rent would go from $270 to over $400 a month even though I was in the middle of a year lease. Spoke with the office manager who was great but couldn't do anything about it, then spoke to one of the McBride sons who have taken over the business. He talked about the need to raise the rent to match current rents of other storage facilities and ignored completely the annual lease I was in. Later the manager said they would let me out of my lease due to the rent increase and I quickly found a new spot nearby for less than what I was paying at McBrides. Really appreciated the way McBrides used to conduct business, and everyone has always been great to work with, but it's time to move on. read more

Read all the reviews carefully, especially the one and 2 star reviews. It's all true. Had a space here for 8 years. On 8/19/22, I received my Sept. invoice for over $400! Thinking there was a serious mistake, I called and found out that sons have taken over the business and decided to bring all rents up to "...current market value". I did not get the letter they claimed they sent. Neither did lots of other customers. I was told a letter would be emailed to me immediately. Still waiting on that. Contract was violated by not giving customers proper notice. My rent went up 59%, or $154 per month, to $416 per month for a 12 X 40 parking space. I was told that I could terminate tenancy at any time without penalty due to the rate hike. In less than 24 hours, I found a storage facility close to McBride's for less than my original monthly payment. It doesn't have the amenities that McBride's has, but I never used those amenities anyway. When I terminated my contract on 8/20/22, I was told I had to give 45 day notice! What a ripoff! I said no way, that yesterday I was told I could terminate at any time. What a mess! Communication to customers has always been extremely poor. Read the contract carefully before signing. Better yet, don't sign, and go someplace else. It's a nice facility in a decent area, but not at all worth the exorbitant rates they are now charging. Go elsewhere and save your $$$$. read more

Read the fine print. You are stuck to a yearly agreement no matter what. If you move or are ill they will not work with you. People love coming in the weekends to wash their personal vehicles as well making it impossible to wash a trailer after a trip. read more

Revised review: the owner is determined to cheat regardless if a tenant follows the contract to the exact word. So the bully wins because you can't fight crazy. We paid the cash ransom with Police present asking if we wanted to press charges but we just wanted to be done and far far away from this place .... Cannot say enough wonderful things about this storage facility. From the front desk staff to the owner, the care shown for their customers exceeded our expectations. The fact that DaddyMac and his staff went out of their way to assist us in starting up our rig after our battery went dead in 105 degrees weather for over an hour without any hesititation left us speechless and so grateful that we choose this RV storage facility. The facility has well spaced spots, clean bathrooms, large RV space for washing rig/vehicle, ice area, and dumpsite. Highly recommend checking this storage facility. A++ in our books!! We toured the facility while looking for storage for our RV. We were put on a waiting list for a opening coming up in about a week, the girl behind the counter said. Yesterday they call my husband and tell hi the space is open and they want to fax the paperwork to us. He's on the other line with a customer and asks if he can call back in 15 minutes. She say that would be fine. He's still on the phone with the same customer 10 minutes later and asks me to call McBrides back about the rental space opening. I call and said " Someone just call us about a opening in the facility, we are on a list and gave our name". The person I talked to said " Oh we already rented that space!" I told her someone had just called, and my husband said he would call back in 15 minutes, that was only 10 minutes ago. She said " I know, but we rented it to someone else!" No customer service!! I should have read the reviews before stopping in. I'm thankful I didn't move my RV into that place! I decided to post my review, to help others decide... "Look somewhere else, their prices are twice as much as other place anyway". We were told it would be $288.00 a month for our RV. We were paying $149.00 before a storage facility that has wonderful people working there. Don't go there you've been warned! read more

Great service, amenities and customer service! We have stored our trailer there for almost a year. It is close to OC and on the way to most places we go to camp. We have utilized their repair service also and it was a smooth experience. My uncle has had been storing his RV here for a few years now with no issues. Clean and secure location, with friendly staff. They host an airshow and we get to meet others that store in the same location, who are all equally friendly. Makes the whole storage place feel like family. Engine oil leak NOT fixed on 1/1/2018 at McBride's and they will not honor their "All workmanship provided McBride's RV comes with a 6 month warranty" Charged and paid $1,358.09 and now want refund. McBride's was willing to retry repair for an additional $1,754 ($1,358.09 + $1,754 = $3,112.09). Had work done by another repair shop and they fixed the oil leak for $1,557. Be warned, check out their Yelp reviews. They really have bad customer service here. I feel completely cheated by them and would not recommend this place to anyone. We have been storing our travel trailer here for almost 8 years. Every year there has been a price increase and we have paid on time without issue or complaint, even through all the price increases. Now they call and ask that we move spaces, because we "dont fit" in the current space. When we asked why all of a sudden this was a problem they said "we just got away with it for all these years". Unbelievable! On top of asking us to move to a new space they are now charging us MORE for this space. We tried to cancel and move out but they said we would need to pay to get out of our "lease". I have taken my boat here for the last three summers and store it there.. when I called today I got such horrible service I ever gotten.. all I was trying to do is explain that I am putting my 30 days in so I can take my boat somewhere else for the winter.. when trying to explain the pass to the lady on the phone on how we always do this.. she was very rude n not understanding of my situation never in the pass i had a problem.. Stay away!!! After being a customer for five years and content with them I had the worst customer service incident last week. I had my wallet stolen while traveling with family in Europe naturally I cancelled my credit cards, one of which was the auto pay for McBrides. When we returned home I called them to let them know because my payment had become due, initially the lady in the phone was understanding but stated i still owed a $25.00 late fee I asked if in this case could it be waved. The owner Mr. McBride himself gets on the phone and tells me no and that he is "sick of my shit and if I don't like it thats to Goddamn bad". He was upset because I had a late penalty from 2010.....five years ago!!! He then told me I was probably lying about my wallet anyway so basically pay up!! I picked up my trailer that day...he wasn't even man enough to talk to me face to face. The facility is large and has a wash rack but the soap is usually out. Do not give them your money. read more

Fraud and threats to impound. STAY AWAY... This has been a good but EXPENSIVE place to store my Trailer. Lately they have a lot of commercial trailers and trucks there. The carwash bays is hard to get into as there is always someone in there. Many times I have seen one of the wash wands broken. They advertise Free Ice, yet on the weekend you are lucky if you can bag your own. I had been with McBrides since 2007 and last August I was moving to Texas rather suddenly. When I went to pick up my trailer I was re-informed of my 45 day notice. (after being a good customer for 8 years there was no goodwill on my 45 day notice) I had a boat stored elsewhere that would be moved to Texas at a later date. So I decided to update all of my personal data to reflect my new Texas address, including phone numbers. I also asked about month to month sites. THEY INFORMED ME THAT I WOULD NOT NEED THE 45 DAY NOTICE and I parked my boat in a new spot assigned by them. In the process of moving to Texas My family I had fraud against my bank card. Subsequently my credit card on file was invalid. Meanwhile my account was incurring late fees and additional monthly fees. NOT ONCE did I receive a call nor did I receive ANY mail correspondence from them. It wasn't until November that I received a letter noting "2nd" request that was forwarded to me via the USPS. I called them prepared to take care of the balance and to arrange to move out. Here is where it gets bad. The person answering the phone tried to help me but has to ask the "Owner". He got on the phone and would not: 1. Listen to the situation. 2. Refused to accept any sort of payment other than cash "the next day" Remember I am living 1500 miles away. 3. Threatened to impound my boat on Monday without any LEGAL Notice. The notice I received in the mail said nothing about possible impound. 4. Told me "He didn't care" about the laws governing impound, and that I can spend $3500 trying to fight it. I ended up having to wire money to a family member in order to save my boat from impound. I also later found the Original agreement that DID NOT HAVE A 45 DAY Clause. They had emailed me a scanned version of my agreement where page 2 was obviously different from the page 1 where I signed. Very simply this company fraudulently stole money from my family. All right before Christmas. I see that others have had similar issues with this place. read more

My husband and I are first time owners of a travel trailer! (Yai) We live down the road in The Preserve, we had heard many things about McBrides (good/bad)... We decided to purchase the coach on a Saturday afternoon. Sunday morning @ 9am I called to get a price quote and to get a tour of McBrides, Andy was very courteous over the phone and told me he had ONE spot left.. My husband and I decided to head on over. We were pleasantly surprised on how well kept the entire place was. Some people stated on previous reviews that they were expensive. I thought the price wasn't the cheapest out there BUT you get many amenities along with the price: Ice, wash station, vacuum, wood(for sale), & high-tech surveillance. McBrides was 50$ more than the place my dealership offered, but for us Location and amenities are well worth the price. I'm not sure how some people complained about employees being rude, because they seemed pretty nice an genuine to me. We even got 2 mugs, shirts and hats as a thank you!
