NO LONGER FAMILY OWNED. My nonprofit agency has been with RS for 25+ years. Went from our monthly of $160 Aug 2022 to $190 Sept 2022 (when they new corporation took over) to $285 April 2023. (That's $125 in 6 months). As a nonprofit it has become a financial burden. I do appreciate the quick sliding door repair when it broke and came of the rail. I'm so glade I found this storage company! I love how close they are. How secure everything is and they have the best prices around for what you get! The staff has been amazing! Anthony has been beyond helpful! He is very friendly, helpful, and will guid you in whatever you need guidance in such as how to go about things. The facility is older but very clean and is gated. The best part to is you can pull right up to your storage unit! That's a big plus because a lot of places don't have that luxury anymore. They are family owned which I love even more. There is always someone apparently there which gives me peace of mine but also a security system that's $10-12 a month I believe that alerts you every time someone enters your unit which I love! I highly recommend this place. However they book fast! I was on the waiting list for two months and got our unit only 4 days before we needed it so it worked out prefect for us luckily. Thanks again Anthony for being awesome and being the face of the company! We feel so comfortable to come in anytime we have questions or concerns! The only thing I'm not a fan of is the hours. I wish the hours were longer. They are open 7am-6pm to enter or exit. You can't get in or out past that. Maybe one day they will extend them because it can be hard for someone who needs to access later but other than that it's prefect and no complaints! read more

Do not EVER store ANYTHING at this place. Our Can Am was stored there. It was on a flat bed trailer and we kept a cover over it. It was STOLEN in November. The trailer also had a theft proof lock on it... and it was cut. This took some time so you'd THINK at least some of the incident would've been caught on video... NOPE!! We thought for sure we would be able to see who took it because of the 24 hour surveillance cameras they claim to have. Well... they got us on video dropping it off and even putting it away (from two different cameras) but didn't get the people who stole it. Seems impossible right? There is only one way out and there is a camera that catches everyone coming in and out. But there was a three and a half hour block when the cameras were SHUT OFF just days before we discovered it was stolen... so this is obviously when it was taken. How did the cameras turn off? How else do you explain this?? The manager was also not able to find anything on the Ring cameras and one of them is pointed directly at the spot where it was stored. Again... the trailer lock was cut so that took time... it wasn't a quick theft. We had to settle with our insurance because they were never able to produce the video of the THIEFS coming out with it. We didn't get NEAR enough for it. We put hours and hours and so much money into fixing it up, had to cancel trips and missed out on so much more because it is GONE. The owner or manager NEVER EVEN CONTACTED US after it was stolen. Why wouldn't they? I was a loyal customer of theirs for 5 years (I had other storage units prior to the spot for the Can Am). Have you ever heard of anything like this? I bet you haven't. This is negligence on their part and they still have not offered me any solution. If you are thinking about doing business with Ramona Mini Storage... do NOT do it. read more

I've been using Ramona Mini Storage for the last 6 years and I'm so happy with them. The facility is gated and clean. I've never seen any weirdos spending the day in their units or wandering around. The rates are the cheapest in the area and the on-site manager Kathy is so friendly and helpful. I have never had any issues at all since I've been there and highly recommend them for anyone looking for a storage facility. read more

Really rude employee here, Barbara was her name i believe. anyways, So I called on the 2nd of the month to ask if their was any they can cut us some slack if we got our stuff out of storage that day, so that we wouldn't have to pay for the whole month (rent is due 1st of every month). She gave me the whole "No its in our contract" ya da ya da ya da, but not only that she was completely rude about it and said "your not gonna run out on me are you?" Accusing me as if I was gonna take my stuff out of storage overnight and not pay!! Are you kidding me?! Who says that kinda stuff to their customers?! And then she continues to demand if I'm gonna come in the following day to pay the rent, mind you I still had 5 days to pay it by. Bottom line, if you need a storage unit, go elsewhere!! read more

Do not do business with Ramona Mini Storage in Chino!!!!! I rented a storage area from them and on 3 occasions the gate was not operational. Additionally, there was no one in the office to assist even though the phone message and sign promised a 9:00 am opening time. I called and called because it was very, very important for me to access the storage area. At 10:45 am I finally gave up. Deplorable. frustrating. Unprofessional. Don't waste your money. read more

I just had to leave a review for this wonderful storage facility and for the wonderful staff who work here. I visited on Friday afternoon to get a quote for one months worth of storage for my electric vehicle. I was told by Kathy that they do not store vehicles for insurance purposes but was given a tour of the storage facility anyway. Kathy referred me to another facility nearby that does store vehicles and this is who I ended up booking with. Kathy is welcoming, friendly, professional, and has an all round fun personality. The girl that runs this place is EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional. We arrived around 4:30 to pick up out of a storage unit, and were locked in by 4:45. But when we pulled in she said to be out by 5. She came around in her cart telling us we had 2 minutes to be out. That was fine, but would have been more professional had she mentioned that at the gate, instead of saying 5, it went from we have until 5 to now we have 2 minutes and that makes it 4:45? We left and got to the shut gate at 4:45 exactly. I know because when I pulled up to the gate to leave my phone and truck read 4:45. Within moments of trying to open the gate we were locked in because the time had gone to 4:46 and now we were forced to pay a $50 fee to be let out. RIDICULOUS. She was extremely rude and very unprofessional. I would not give this company my business if it was the last storage unit on the planet. read more

This is the best and most friendly mini storage in all of Chino. The two lovely ladies who work there are super friendly and resourceful. They helped me find the right size for all my junk and even offered to reserve it for me until I got it all packed and ready to move. They clearly went over storage rules and assured me that they were there to help me with whatever I needed. I think her name was Kathy, she made the experience personal and made me feel right at home. She made the experience less like a business transaction and more like friends meeting for coffee but she was still professional about it all. She's polite and friendly. One hell of a manager. As if that would do it, her daughter walked in and I was automatically sold on the fact that it's family run. Mother daughter duo helps me feel safe and secure. Added bonus that there's always a manager on site. Her daughter/assistant (her name escapes me) is a chip off the ol' block. She's just as informative and polite. She made sure I had access to water and their yummy mints. When she was showing me the unit, she also showed me where the bathroom and trash cans were. She was even polite enough to stop and let me use the bathroom. I noticed how clean everything was and I love all the plants out on the grounds that make it feel home-y. This is a great facility all around, from the amazing prices, the cleanliness of the place, to the well-mannered and very helpful women running the place. They both left an impression on me and I will be sure to recommend them to my friends and family for years to come. Very pleased with my experience here.
