Zero stars if possible Mold! Have had unit for 5 years on the third floor. When moving into my new home recently I came to recover my items and discovered a lot of the more than 10k$ worth of my belongings were covered in mold. You can feel a distinct dampness in the air. Do not use this place read more

Gilbert and Ozzy helped me out. They were both knowledgeable and broke down everything for me to get a unit. These guys will not hesitate to help you out and they will answer all your questions. read more

In few years they raised their prices by 150%, it's so obvious and clear that they are looking forward to raise their prices again an again! We are planning to move out! read more

Gilbert was awesome! So friendly and helpful! So willing to help. I truly appreciate his service!

I rented for 3 years and recently moved my stuff out. The service was easy and ending the contract was simple; I just had to pay thru the end of the month (no partial month refunds). My only complaint is that they raised the monthly rent a few months in, which I didn't appreciate. But other than that it was all good. read more

Keeping increasing price to kick you out making no sense ! 10x15' from $230 or so to $400 or so in 3 years with rising rate once 2 month till once a month ! A:"Hey You; Staying or out Now? I've had a very positive experience with StorQuest at its Hawthorne location. Johana was the staff member that helped me. She was very knowledgeable and polite. She took the time to show me 3 units to find which would best fit my needs and she did this all with a smile on her face and upbeat attitude. Johana you get a 5 star review from me. The facility is secure there are multiple coded entry gates. You do have to purchase a cylindrical lock specific to their units. Elevators are little slow but aside from that I have nothing negative to say. read more

I've gone back to them several times and highly recommend. Any issues I've always had easily resolved, the staff are always pleasant, and the space is well maintained. I've used a lot of different places in my life and never used one twice until this particular StorQuest. Others of this brand are good too but this one is really well laid out and super convenient as it's near the 405 and Home Depot (makes moving things a lot easier to be near one. IYKYK.). read more

Beware!!! They don't tell you they will raise the rent 50% on you after 4 months. They practice unethical business practices. You have to buy one of their locks. I was convinced I was getting a good deal on a corner unit away from the elevator only for the rent to be raised. You'll get a letter in the mail. They won't tell you this when you sign up. To top it off I got stuck in there elevator for over 30 minutes. Handled it like a champ and they turn around and slap me in the face. I can afford it but I'm not giving these guys more of my money. I'll take my money elsewhere and so should you. read more

This rating will be updated as time goes by... Rose was one of the nicest and most professional staff members I've ever had the pleasure of speaking with over the phone. She was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and interested in my personal needs for a storage unit. I give Rose a big thumbs up and a shining 5 stars. As I get my wares stored away I will rate the actual physical space and other staff members I encounter. Thank you Rose. read more

Both chris and Cynthia are AMAZING . The establishment is very clean and their prices are hard to beat !! If I ever need storage again , I know where I'm Coming :) read more

Constantly raising the rent and changing the hours. If I could store anywhere else I would

Horrible service every employee that I have had to deal with is r they do not value your time. Too expensive and the price increases constantly read more

Cynthia is a terrible manager at this location with poorly trained staff! I do NOT recommend this location. My unit has been broken into multiple times but they do nothing. The cameras are NOT recording 247 so what's the point? The manager and assistant manager are both lazy, all they do is sit on their phone while shady individuals roam the units taking what they want. read more

This storage facility tops all storage facilities in the Southbay, clean, convenient and unbelievable storage areas! They also have climate control in the building with air conditioning, unheard of for any storage units! Great customer service by Darlene, patient and explained everything to the tee!! Go to this facility and check it out, you won't be disappointed- promise! read more

Don't be alarmed for their lack of Yelp reviews. They focus on Google reviews. I was a walk in with my boyfriend and right away I was greeted and told to have a seat if I wanted to since both girls at the desks were busy. They had all the jams playing which made the waiting a little less tedious. I was offered the lowest prices online with a promotion! I used to store at Public Storage and they can't compare with StorQuest in Hawthorne! Definitely check them out if their lack of Yelp reviews make you hesitant to rent with them. Their Google reviews will make you want to take a double look. read more

Very clean facility, solid prices. Friendly service. Ronnica was super nice and helpful and got our storage unit set up quickly!

I can't think of 1 thing wrong . this place is fuckin awesome !!! I love the customer service , support , and overall cleanliness of the facility . everyone seems so helpful all the time , stoic , and patient . I have been storing my valuables for over a year safely . they are well accommodating with 20 by 20s if you need that much space . the nice and welcoming lady's even assisted me with moving into my unit . again I have 0 complaints . maybe they should have free cookies or something . hmmmm . the irony is most holidays they give me candy . if you are looking for the best place , the safest place , in a sweetspot of a location than look no further . I have been blessed and thankful to be one of the longtime occupants within this state of the art facility . I think even the greatest skateboarder of all times chooses to house his smorgasboard of skating equipment in house . read more

She was making it really complicated to sign up first i get there and i got quoted $89 for a 5x10 storage and after i get there she says that's the price for a half storage which makes no sense because she asked me what i wanted in specific. Once I'm there she said the the 5x10 storage i want is $111. Than I wasn't trying to pay for insurance so I decided to use my home owners insurance and first i didn't have the declaration document than i got that info for her and she said it can't be a photo of the document than after being on the phone for a few minutes with my insurance agent and after words she said it was ok. When I show it to her she says it won't work because my dad and and I don't have the same last name because I'm a Jr and since we're in the same home insurance policy it's doesn't work because he's not my biological father with the same last time. My father pasted before i was born and my Dad now has been there since i was 1 year of age. She said she couldn't help me and says that i had to pay insurance. So it went from $89 I was quoted to $111 plus $15 for insurance so that's an extra $37 dollars per month not including after 5 months it was going to go up. If i was kept the original quote i was given and they accepted home owner insurance i would have got the storage. Disappointing I was waiting for months for this place to open up. read more

StorQuest Self Storage - This was my quote. And they end up telling me that's a half storage whatever that means and it wasn't an actual 10x5 ? - Self Storage Near Me - Hawthorne, California

This location lost a customer. Rude manager Cynthia with 0 customer service. Came in as a new customer asking questions to rent a storage unit and walked out and headed to public storage (a block over) where they actually had good customer service not just sitting on a their cell phone. read more

I would suggest you go else where..raising prices for no reason what so ever...blaming everything that has nothing to do with the cost increase....I was under the impression I signed a lease for 1 year, that the cost would remain the same.....bad place, there are so many other better places...moving stuff soon!!! read more

Chris was very helpful and was very nice. He helped me drill out my old lock and gave me a new one with no problems.

My wife and I were having our house remodeled and needed to remove all the furniture from our house and were trying to decide on a POD or storage unit. We priced both options and decided that the price for the large unit versus the PODs was a much better value. We called the facility and spoke with Cynthia who was very helpful. After the call we went to see the actual unit to determine if we thought all our furniture would fit in the 20' x 10' unit. After viewing the unit we asked if we could hold the unit for a day or so to decide (it was the last large unit they had). They held the unit for 7 days with no money down so we could decide. Ultimately we committed to the rental the next day and the staff were all very nice and helpful. My wife and thank you for such a great experience. You made the process easy and stress free. read more
