Be careful with this place keep your receipts and always keep track of your payments because this place will try to scam you and then play dumb when you call to ask what is going on twice there has been a rent increase which I understand and complied to pay but I noticed that they increased my rate $12 which is what they said it would increase by but then there was a added $3 charge that I was never given an explanation for now they are trying to do it again $12 increase this time with an additional $4 charge again with no explanation where this other fee came from they manipulate the rate by listing the additional in with the old charge as if I had been paying that extra amount all this time but all my paperwork and bank statements show otherwise disgusted with a business who thinks they can get away with this read more

I can't say enough good things about this place. I came across Saf Keep when a freight shipment came in requiring a forklift, and this was the only one in the area that had a free forklift on site. So I booked a space here out of need, and got so much more in return. That would be the first out of MANY times the staff was incredibly patient and generous with their time and equipment to help me out. I had a lot of logistical issues to deal with, like overweight/oversized shipments, disposal needs, needing to leave keys, and more, and Francisco and Derrick were flexible, happy to help, and incredibly proactive. I can say that this facility has great customer service, a the Nestor helped me was explicit with his answers and let me tell you I had a lot of questions and he sure answered every single one thoroughly and with a smile. I recently experienced some business reversals, which resulted in my failure to timely make my rental payments on time due to a car accident in which i broke my ankle and recovery has been a nightmare . After visiting almost every storage facility in the area, I was amazed by the difference at this one!! The place is so clean, the people are helpful, friendly, and always around. There are video cameras and call boxes everywhere that insure you are safe. They have a free move-in truck, dollies, hand trucks, blankets, straps... and the guys that work here even helped me get big stuff into my space. They are open, as I said, all the times I would want to get in to visit my old couch: 7a-9p everyday and the office is open 9-6 everyday in case you need some boxes or tape or something. My neighbor recommended Saf Keep of Gardena to me when I had to move on super short notice. The use of their moving truck and dollies was an absolute blessing to me! The prices of their moving supplies (boxes, bubble wrap, tape, etc.) are low-cost and they are almost always having a sale on items I definitely are in need of. I absolutely LOVE this facility! The grounds and buildings are very clean and well kept. The staff is AMAZING and extremely courteous and helpful! They are very diligent in keeping me informed with things such as if I didn't secure my lock correctly on one of my units, or when the seal on one of my unit doors was torn, they immediately took care of ordering a new one - free of charge. If I was late on making a payment, they would leave a friendly message reminder for me and would patiently work with me during a time I was struggling to keep up. I absolutely trust ALL of my belongings here at the Saf Keep Gardena facility and I have highly recommended them to more than 15 of my friends, neighbors, and family members! No kidding! I feel very safe bringing my children into this facility with me (they love the openness of the hallways that are well-lit). I appreciate everyone here and hope all of the other Saf Keep facilities follow their lead! I also appreciate the online billing service, which makes it easy to keep track of my account without having to always go in or if I can't make it to the facility during the office business hours, which - by the way - they are open 365 days a year, with maybe a couple of exceptions. read more

The most fun I can say I've ever had at a storage facility. lol It was a whole experience! All of the office employees were extremely friendly. The office itself was very festive with seasonal decor and offered coffee, cupcakes and Halloween candy for their guests. I inquired about two different sized storage units. Fransisco took me on a tour in his golf cart and showed me gate operation, the various units and answered any pricing questions I had. I was able to rent a truck directly from the facility the next morning for an extremely good deal. Fransisco came to offer a hand and informed me they offer free moving assistance for the first 30 minutes! Carts and dollies are also available to use. There is a large elevator for the second floor. The units themselves are very clean and well kept. The gate is very secure. I was even able to spin the wheel and win a free lock!! read more

In Spring of 2017 we used Saf Keep, a modern, clean, well organized facility conveniently located near LAX to keep our van. The price was great and we were quite satisfied with that alone. But the main reason I'm commenting on this storage provider is the people. Who'd think the personalities at a storage property would even matter? I always look for good treatment when dining in a restaurant, when staying at a hotel, even hope for decent treatment at the grocery store. Saf Keep also has a truck that you can rent which is convenient and as a result keeps you from having to rent one from another company (don't waste money). Unit 2188- I love Saf Keep Storage in Gardena. I have been with them for over 4yrs and the prices are good. It is a very clean facility, easy access and I love dealing with Derrick. He is always friendly and in a good mood. He makes me feel like we have been friends for years. My brother was storing his things with the well-known competition and his unit was broken into. They told him that they would NOT pay his claim because the robber locked his unit after he broke into it. This was an excellent storage place until I went to my unit 7/2016 to remove my belongings and cancel my storage because $317 per month was getting ridiculous. My unit was covered with rat droppings, urine, etc. I had to go to the hospital because of my severe phobia to rats. Have not returned to the unit and haven't heard from them regarding this matter. One of the customer service reps took pictures and the manager said she was filing an insurance claim. My furniture is no longer usable because of the urine from the rats. It's hard to get someone to help me remove everything because of the problem. I really don't know what to do at this point! read more
