Saf Keep Storage - Second Unit for work stuff! - Self Storage Near Me - Gardena, California

Be careful with this place keep your receipts and always keep track of your payments because this place will try to scam you and then play dumb when you call to ask what is going on twice there has been a rent increase which I understand and complied to pay but I noticed that they increased my rate $12 which is what they said it would increase by but then there was a added $3 charge that I was never given an explanation for now they are trying to do it again $12 increase this time with an additional $4 charge again with no explanation where this other fee came from they manipulate the rate by listing the additional in with the old charge as if I had been paying that extra amount all this time but all my paperwork and bank statements show otherwise disgusted with a business who thinks they can get away with this read more

Saf Keep Storage is by far the BEST storage facility in Los Angeles County. I've had 3 storage units in my lifetime and non of the compare to Saf Keep Storage. The men that are employed at the Gardena faculty are some of the best employees I've ever seen in a franchise besides In N Out and Chick FIla. They are kind , respectful, and take pride in their work. read more

I can't say enough good things about this place. I came across Saf Keep when a freight shipment came in requiring a forklift, and this was the only one in the area that had a free forklift on site. So I booked a space here out of need, and got so much more in return. That would be the first out of MANY times the staff was incredibly patient and generous with their time and equipment to help me out. I had a lot of logistical issues to deal with, like overweight/oversized shipments, disposal needs, needing to leave keys, and more, and Francisco and Derrick were flexible, happy to help, and incredibly proactive. I'm seriously floored with how much personal care is put into the service here. - Clean facilities - Easy access and convenient location - Secure - Free forklift - Moving truck available for easy rental HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! read more

Saf Keep Storage 2045 W Rosecrans Ave, Gardena, CA 90249 To Whom It May Concern A million stars is not enough. Its no wonder the BBB has you at a an AAA. Excellent customer service and facility. I have been to a couple of storage facilities and by far this one has been the cleanest and most organized of all. I was impressed on how welcoming the employees Derrick, Nestor and Francisco were. As soon as I open the door, they greet you with a smile and cookies!!! which is always nice to see. I can say that this facility has great customer service, a the Nestor helped me was explicit with his answers and let me tell you I had a lot of questions and he sure answered every single one thoroughly and with a smile. I would truly recommend this facility for it's clean and has great customer service. My storage unit which contain my worldly possessions and those of my teenage daughter. I recently experienced some business reversals, which resulted in my failure to timely make my rental payments on time due to a car accident in which i broke my ankle and recovery has been a nightmare . Rather than blindly adhere to strict execution of the company's rights and treat me like a nameless customer, the folks at your facility i.e Derrick, Nestor and Francisco. Treated me like a person of value and part of the family and did the most amazing thing for me ( eat 3 cookies lol) im telling you ill NEVER FORGET IT! You'll never know how much i appreciate you all so much i knew the second I walked in i was safe and welcomed I would recommended this place for anyone who wants the best customer service and storage unit and peace of mind!! On a side note It is my understanding the on - site personnel had to acquire the permission of the owner in order to deviate from standard policy for me. However, I simply want to express my appreciation for working with me and minimizing the disruption in my life. I will strongly suggest to others that they consider storing their property at your facility. I love you all more than my family! You will never know who much i appreciate you all. Love you all to the moon and back Derrick. #PieceOfMindisEverything Respectfully, B ALLEN read more

I like Safekeep because the faculty members are very nice and friendly, and i like Safekeep because of the hours they open and close. I like the fact that they allow me to dump my trash at the storage dumpsters & trash cans placed around storage. I have told people about safekeep read more

After visiting almost every storage facility in the area, I was amazed by the difference at this one!! The place is so clean, the people are helpful, friendly, and always around. There are video cameras and call boxes everywhere that insure you are safe. They have a free move-in truck, dollies, hand trucks, blankets, straps... and the guys that work here even helped me get big stuff into my space. They are open, as I said, all the times I would want to get in to visit my old couch: 7a-9p everyday and the office is open 9-6 everyday in case you need some boxes or tape or something. All I can say is I am so glad I found this place, all the others in the area kind of creeped me out. read more

My neighbor recommended Saf Keep of Gardena to me when I had to move on super short notice. The use of their moving truck and dollies was an absolute blessing to me! The prices of their moving supplies (boxes, bubble wrap, tape, etc.) are low-cost and they are almost always having a sale on items I definitely are in need of. I absolutely LOVE this facility! The grounds and buildings are very clean and well kept. The staff is AMAZING and extremely courteous and helpful! They are very diligent in keeping me informed with things such as if I didn't secure my lock correctly on one of my units, or when the seal on one of my unit doors was torn, they immediately took care of ordering a new one - free of charge. If I was late on making a payment, they would leave a friendly message reminder for me and would patiently work with me during a time I was struggling to keep up. I absolutely trust ALL of my belongings here at the Saf Keep Gardena facility and I have highly recommended them to more than 15 of my friends, neighbors, and family members! No kidding! I feel very safe bringing my children into this facility with me (they love the openness of the hallways that are well-lit). I appreciate everyone here and hope all of the other Saf Keep facilities follow their lead! I also appreciate the online billing service, which makes it easy to keep track of my account without having to always go in or if I can't make it to the facility during the office business hours, which - by the way - they are open 365 days a year, with maybe a couple of exceptions. read more

I like to say that Nestor and Gordon has the best customer service with your company. Nestor explained all the details of storage prices and etc. Gordon give us the best tour of your company from the begin to the end. You got the right guys for your company. After visiting U-Haul down the street, I wanted to check this one out and I was amazed with the difference this one. The place is clean, video cameras everywhere and free move-in truck is a plus. Also, the plus is they're open 7 day a week. So, if I need something you can get it. All I can say is I am glad I found Saf Keep Storage and I highly recommend. read more

I just called them to ask about rates. The woman on the phone peppered me with questions about name, phone, and personal info to put into her computer. When I asked for rates, she was unable to give me a response without giving her a full bio on myself for her computer. Highly offensive, and you just lost my business! What a waste of time. This place is so convenient and the staff is great. Moving is a pain in the butt. It makes it worse if you have to find a moving truck AND a storage space. Thankfully at Saf Keep Storage, you get both at one place! The prices are reasonable and they offer discounts. I was assisted by Derrick, Nestor and Francisco. All were perfect gentlemen and were very helpful. And the cherry on top was the prize wheel you get to spin if you're a new customer. I won a lotto ticket and won $10 on the ticket (woo-hoo!). I highly recommend this storage center. read more

The most fun I can say I've ever had at a storage facility. lol It was a whole experience! All of the office employees were extremely friendly. The office itself was very festive with seasonal decor and offered coffee, cupcakes and Halloween candy for their guests. I inquired about two different sized storage units. Fransisco took me on a tour in his golf cart and showed me gate operation, the various units and answered any pricing questions I had. I was able to rent a truck directly from the facility the next morning for an extremely good deal. Fransisco came to offer a hand and informed me they offer free moving assistance for the first 30 minutes! Carts and dollies are also available to use. There is a large elevator for the second floor. The units themselves are very clean and well kept. The gate is very secure. I was even able to spin the wheel and win a free lock!! read more

In Spring of 2017 we used Saf Keep, a modern, clean, well organized facility conveniently located near LAX to keep our van. The price was great and we were quite satisfied with that alone. But the main reason I'm commenting on this storage provider is the people. Who'd think the personalities at a storage property would even matter? I always look for good treatment when dining in a restaurant, when staying at a hotel, even hope for decent treatment at the grocery store. But I never expected to find such friendly, courteous and helpful people at Saf Keep Storage. Thank you Daisy at the front office and Francisco in the back! read more

Very friendly and helpful staff. It's a safe and clean environment. One of the better places in the area.

This establishment rocks! Everyone was super helpful. Francisco was very attentive and he even showed me a unit that could fit all my belonging and cost $90.00 less than what I was paying at U-Haul. It's a yearly saving of over $1,000.00. Highly recommend this place! read more

Great customer service and prices are so much better then other places, and loved that it's really clean and the best that gave me the information when I called in just for a price and they asked and explained about the sizes that they had available well. Best place I can recommend to rent a storage. Won't be disappointed at all. read more

My boyfriend and I came in to Saf Keep Storage not knowing anything about storage rooms thinking we were going to come across high prices but we were wrong. We got a great deal. Staff was very friendly. Francisco showed us around the facility and was very knowledgeable. I am a huge fan of Saf Keep Storage located in Gardena, CA. The customer service that I receive remains consistent and always friendly as well as helpful. I haven't had a negative experience since I've been using their facilities. In addition, their company has a competitive advantage with their pricing. When I visited another facility prior to Saf Keep the staff wasn't friendly and their pricing and fees were ridiculous. I decided to try Saf Keep and they were more than helpful in assisting me with the right unit size for storage as well as pricing that fit my budget. Saf Keep also has a truck that you can rent which is convenient and as a result keeps you from having to rent one from another company (don't waste money). Another plus, the facility is clean and is monitored on a regular basis. I would highly recommend that you give Saf Keep Storage a try. read more

Unit 2188- I love Saf Keep Storage in Gardena. I have been with them for over 4yrs and the prices are good. It is a very clean facility, easy access and I love dealing with Derrick. He is always friendly and in a good mood. He makes me feel like we have been friends for years. My brother was storing his things with the well-known competition and his unit was broken into. They told him that they would NOT pay his claim because the robber locked his unit after he broke into it. He is now a Saf Keep customer for over 2yrs and he got a bigger unit for less money. read more

This was an excellent storage place until I went to my unit 7/2016 to remove my belongings and cancel my storage because $317 per month was getting ridiculous. My unit was covered with rat droppings, urine, etc. I had to go to the hospital because of my severe phobia to rats. Have not returned to the unit and haven't heard from them regarding this matter. One of the customer service reps took pictures and the manager said she was filing an insurance claim. My furniture is no longer usable because of the urine from the rats. It's hard to get someone to help me remove everything because of the problem. I really don't know what to do at this point! read more
