Nothing wrong with the facility or people, but they jack up your monthly rate after you have only been there 6 months and then you have to beg for them to reconsider the rate hike. This happens every 6 months and I am not talking about a 10% increase. They jack it up 30% or more each time. This is a predatory business model not unlike payday loan places. AVOID read more

The young lady I spoke with is named Bertha. She answered my questions clearly. She took us to view some samples to see the size needed. She did not rush us. We felt well taken care of when we left. When I came back to get the key. She had not changed. She still was the same Bertha we met on our first visit. She demonstrated some locks and how to enter access codes. Jennifer is very helpful. She really took the time to explain everything about the self storage process bc this was my first time. She also walked me to my unit and explained what amenities were available, like hand carts to help move items and the restrooms on site. She's really a sweet person and good at communication. She calls me if there are any issues regarding my two storage units and works with me if I have a scheduling issue. Do not rent here! I was told several times by the store manager and by the district manager that I would receive the one dollar move-in promotion. When I got billed it was for the full amount of the unit, $390. When I contacted them and asked what was going on they repeatedly told me that I should be getting a credit back but conveniently never gave me the credit back. All the while public storage corporate is sending me notices that I'm late on my payments because of not receiving a credit. Eventually just had to pay and suck it up so I didn't hurt my credit. Bait and switch and shameful behavior by management and especially the district manager whom I spoke with several times personally and over the phone. Shame on you public storage!!! read more

I came to the PS because a customer service representative on the phone was helping me identify one large enough to fit a vehicle and he had made the reservation for me. I was told the unit was wide enough and there was drive up access. When I explained this to Yolanda, she immediately recognized that my vehicle wouldn't fit due to the size of the door. She seemed to know that facility inside out, explaining that the doors were larger in some of the buildings, but unfortunately not the one that was available there. Instead of telling me to "have a nice day," Yolanda went out of her way and started calling the other nearby facility I made a reservation for to see if my vehicle would fit through their doors. Not only did she not waste my time by showing me a unit I couldn't use, she was helping me save time by avoiding a trip to the other facility which she didn't think would work out either. And she persisted when she didn't get a clear answer, and I got a call later from that facility. I only dealt with Yolanda once, but I bet this kind of customer service was not unusual for her. I left really disappointed that I would not be renting from that PS facility because Yolanda was a pleasure to work with. read more

this is a great facility. the manager, yolanda is very courteous, professional, and does everything within reason to make renting at this public storage on western a pleasure. the restrooms are always available and clean (very important when spending time in storage). i have rented at other facilities and they haven't been as clean and organized as this one; as a matter of fact, some managers are so "officious" they are not only not helpful, they are anti-helpful! (lol)... this is not the case with yolanda! the only complaint i have about this public storage is the gate hours which closes too early. 6:00pm is too early for my schedule. if the gate hours were a later i would give this public storage on south western a "5 star" rating! thank you yolanda!!! read more
