Elizabeth Russell is the worst! Such a sour attitude. This individual has no business being at the front line working with people. She said and I quote "I'm not a chatty Kathy, I don't like people". This was her response to my question of "Why do you on a debut transaction?" She didn't respond with "It's policy, it's my job, we do for added protection, etc...." Really nothing that was remotely close to a work appropriate conversation or response to my question by the way...) Rather, I get "I'm not a chatty Kathy, I don't like people". Gets better: I ask how I can file a complaint and she says "Swipe your card." I'm so confused because I don't think there is a way to complain by just swiping your credit card or is there? So I ask that question which was a true genuine question. She apparently thinks I'm an idiot because she continues glaring at me for a few seconds, the slowly enunciates "Just pay. Swop your card and just pay". So I swipe my card and then ask again how I can file a complaint. She doesn't answer me, continues her thing and then after what seems forever she annoyingly says "If your 3's did not look like 7's, this would have never happened. That's where the problem started with me!" I use exclamation points since she was raising her voice and yet no other post office employee is fazed. The customers in line are mortified as am I. One customer actually points it out to another employee that she is yelling at me and he calmly says "do you want to move over here?" I'm so confused. I'm waiting for the hidden cameras any second. She finally walks off and loudly says "I'll get a supervisor right now if you want one!" I respond with a simple "Yes, yes I would like that!" I tell the supervisor but he is equally interested as she was i customer service. Almost as if he is afraid of her, used to her antics, and is underpaid and not fix issue. His response?? " I will have a conversation with her". That's it. Just a conversation. What is wrong with today's world? What happened to customer service? Not ok. Don't just have a conversation with her: teach her how to have a conversation. That when a question is asked, it means it requires a response with a normal demeanor. I'm not asking for clowns and balloons, just an answer. That's my mistake for assuming an employee would know her job. read more
