On 5/08/24 I went to the Norco Post Office, and went to the front counter with my 2 Mother's Day cards. The short guy with glasses weighed each letter, I than put two stamps and handed them to him for service. the cards never made the delivery to two different cities. I went back over a week later and talked to a day supervisor named Carlos. A nice guy and said that the Post Master would call me about my complaint. It is now 6/05/24 and she has not responded to my complaint. My Mother and Step Mother never received their cards or the $100.00 Macy's gift cards that were inside. With only two stars and a lot of negative reviews, it's sad that a working American can't even trust the US Post Office to deliver specialty cards with out stealing them. read more

I just recently realized I could post a review about the USPS. This is about Norco USPS. On a normal day I would have no qualms giving them a negative star rating out of five, because that is how dismal is the USPS customer service. One of the employees there, an Asian woman, was rude through her bones. She completely caught me off guard because the stereotypical image of an Asian woman was a timid and polite one. I always stayed polite and respectful in my encounters with her until she started raising her voice, upset I took a second to decide if I wanted to pay for extra services she was upselling me with. My husband just passed away and I was in tremendous pain. It took some effort to keep my tears from flowing. I did not have the energy to counter her rudeness. The next time I was back, there she was with her usual rudeness, and I put her in her place with nary a curse word. I simply told her loud enough for other customers to hear how rude her demeanor was, and the satisfying thing was two customers who were in line chimed in and said, "She is really rude". One customer said she was there for about two hours because she "just would not help me" as far as to which papers to fill and how to wrap a package to make it acceptable to their rules. I later met that same lady at a TJ Maxx and we talked about this postal worker and the USPS as a whole. After that incident I was at the post office again and she was so "sweet" (Argh!); met me with a "Hi, how may I help you today?". I was very civil with her, while wondering if she finally got out from the right side of her bed that morning to be in a good mood. I noticed a new guy standing very close to her. After my transaction was handled, I asked the "new" guy if he were her supervisor. I forgot his exact words, but he was her higher up. I told him I asked because the rudest employee in that branch became so sweet all of a sudden, I almost did not recognize her (I was kidding, of course). He was chuckling himself. There was also an incident with another female employee. I mailed something and I requested specifically just for a tracking number. When she told me how much it was, I was surprised. I knew it would only cost me around $4, and she was asking for double the amount. She just went on to explain how she added insurance, etc., "because of the importance of the document". She decided all of these on her own! Imagine if I were purchasing a car with a manual transmission and the salesman will simply say, "Oh, it's $2K more, because I think you should be driving an automatic". However, among all these morose, rude, could not be bothered, and entitled employees, is a gem named JOEY. Oh, I have written to the USPS that they should have Joey train all their employees. Joey is so wonderful. He always comes across polite, kind, very helpful, and just an all around wonderful human being. The famous Mr. Silva calls this kind of person as someone "functioning with his right brain" (always connected to higher consciousness). I am not a spring chicken anymore and I am thinking about my will, and I think about Joey. That's how much this young man impressed me. I have nothing, but best wishes for him. If you have a pobox here and need to get your packages...here has been my experience. 9x out of 10 I get a yellow card..then I have to go to the side door that gets your package...this door is closed at times ...even if hours just for this door are posted as open! Then if that door is closed you are waiting in whatever line is there-with today ONE worker. You cannot get your package on the weekends...you cannot get your package anytime the office is closed. Yes sometimes I get a key for a locker...but only once in a while...no wonder people lose it here!! read more

Help we are mail hostages and can't get delivery!!!!! Here is what the postal police had to say about mail delivery!! Mailbox blockage by a vehicle may also prevent the delivery of mail. According to our policy, the city or rural carrier should get out of the vehicle to make delivery if the mailbox is temporarily blocked by a vehicle. However, if the carrier continually experiences a problem in serving curb line or rural boxes where the customer is able to control on street parking, the postmaster may withdraw delivery service. My box was not blocked! The driver reserves their right to not deliver a damn thing! WTH!!! There is space yet they did us a courtesy in the past and delivered our mail???!!!!!!! Now if I did this the postal police would arrest me?! Mind you we have. Fire hydrant in front of our box so how are we blocking???! Am I wrong here? Please check out this picture! Probably the rudest encounter I've had was today. They were closed, I didn't read the sign. My fault. But to my defense there was a line of like 10 people inside. I walked in and said, "oh shoot are you closed closed?" The guy started laughing and said, "yeah you didn't see (pointing at the sign) we are closed closed." At the end of the day, it's your delivery that is sometimes more important. And if delivery is not good at the post office well Then yeah you're doing your job wrong folks! Not a rude remark per say. Who's this union protecting the workers FROM exactly? Just wondering as I sit here in a line consisting of 18 people that stretches out past the door. Went in to ship 2 boxes, line was long I had 6 people in front of me and only one person at opening but then a great gentleman Galen (not sure if I spelled it right and I'm assuming he's the manager) came and addressed everyone in line to help. I've been sending packages for years never noticed the self serve machine until Galen happily showed me the ropes! So easy!!!! I should mention it's card payment only. Unfortunately I have not had the best experiences when visiting the post office. The customer service is poor and unprofessional. There should be a zero rating for this location. My boyfriend applied for his passport at this location and the lady forgot to submit his sealed birth certificate along with all his paperwork. Few weeks later he was sent a letter being denied of his passport and is now stuck paying for an expedited fee to travel in time. As this was our first time applying for a passport, so we had no idea what paperwork she was supposed to submit. Absolutely horrible, and now there's more $ being spent. I go to USPS all the time to mail packages, I usually use the click and ship service which means o just have to drop things off at the post office and usually everything goes as planned. With that being said something got lost in the mail and the tracking was being weird. I know that delays are common and i wasn't worried about that, mainly just concerned that my package was actually lost. John was super kind to me and helped me out. He took down my name and number in case he couldn't find it but the next day, it was in my mailbox. So thankful that he helped me out and happy with the service! read more

If there's a zero star that I could give to this place, I am missing my package and called last Monday and I was told that my package was delivered to a wrong address so I followed up today and spoke with Mr. SILVA who claimed he's the supervisor, but it's so sad that he's not concerned about my situation. Doesn't seem like he's even going to do something like talk to the mailman who delivered it to the wrong address. I went to drop off a package for a sale I made on Mercari. I had underestimated the weight and shipping dimensions on Mercari, so I needed to make an adjustment to the prepaid shipping label they provided. I went to the counter and explained that an adjustment of price needed to be made and the lady at the counter proceeded to rudely explain to me that I needed to tape the prepaid label onto my box..... Yes, my dear, I understand that shipping labels need to be taped onto boxes, i am not clueless.... so I repeated that i had underestimated the shipping dimensions and weight of my item so I'd need to pay more, and she proceeded to tell me that there is nothing she can do since it is a prepaid label and that I should've just taped the label to the box. Alright already with the taping to the box!!!! isn't there a cash register there? can't you deduct what was already paid.... NO! Apparently not. Then she proceeded to take a sticker pouch to stick my label onto my box, saying that she shouldn't be doing this since the pouch is for customs labels, but she will make an exception for me this time and scanned my package.... good lord, I really hope this package goes to my buyer and not returned to be for a measly few oz over weight.... sheeesh. read more

I came here around lunch time and although there were plenty of people in line Julie was fast! She was trying to get the line down, I loved that i did not feel rushed, she was super sweet and efficient, definitely made my afternoon. I love this post office because it is so close to the freeway it is such a quick detour when on my way to work. read more

Needed to get my mailbox rekeyed after the only one was lost... our first visit was Monday and when we arrived it appears there was a sizable line and wait... but thanks to everyone visible pitching in... working the line to try to get easy things addressed, getting everyone whatever paperwork they might need before they got it the windows and even opening up an extra window to help move the line we were through in maybe 10 minutes.. everyone super courteous and very efficient and what they said could take up to a week to rekey our mailbox was done the next day.. read more

Today I visited the Norco post office to get a Passport for myself and the husband. There were two other people ahead of us in line when we arrived at 10 am, and the employee was already helping someone. It's a process so people need to learn patience. The process was smooth the staff exceptionally pleasant; well organized and efficient. The post office is clean and organized. Anna who processed our application was awesome. I'm not a yelper, but there are a few times where I feel that an honest review needs to be given. I came in here to mail a package and got called a liar in front of a huge line of people. The reason? Because I said that the clerk had taped my package before. Apparently it's against policy to tape packages. I guess it's because tape is too expensive for them?? I don't know his name, but if you go there, you'll know him because he pretty much shouts the entire time and will publicly humiliate you in front of people. Whoever he is, he should be fired. The manager at this post office is rude. He was so worried about his wait time for the line (of 3-4 people) that he pulled the lady from the passport counter (who stepped I bc the actual passport person was on her/his lunch break). So it was totally ok for us passport people (3) to wait (I've been there for over an hour at this point.... and the lunch break was still going on) So after pulling the lady, this amazing manager sent another young lady who had nothing but attitude on her face and coming out of her mouth. Came in to ship a box that we had ready to go. Instead of being courteous and kind, there was one of these guys (named Henry) giving out stamps before the desk. He asks if we have tape, we said no. He then stated that they don't provide tape and that we have to buy it. I pointed out the guy at the counter, stating that he taped our package before. The oriental guy decided to make a fit and call the guy out asking if he ever gave tape to us all loud and in front of everyone. This started a back and forth thing, with the guy claiming he never saw us before. Then saying "I don't care what they are saying! I didn't do that!" And the oriental guy laughs all loud and says "well she's saying you did!", Making everyone look at us and making us feel like we are some kind of thieves. Then the guy behind the counter decides to say "yeah well, you can't believe everything that someone says!". All I said was that last time he taped it for us, in a very calm and respectable manner. But instead of politely saying they didn't, they make it a big freaking conversation/argument in front of us and everyone else treating us like liars and basically thieves. read more

Worst post office I've ever been to!! I walked in at 12:57 on Saturday they close at 1pm. I had a prepaid label all I needed was a box. The manager was at the door directing me to buy an 18$ box arguing with me... by the time she told me where the boxes were without including shipping she said "but we're closed" I close at 12:55.... online and the door says 1pm. What a lazy person.. just because you want to go home early doesn't mean you can close the USPS early. Will never be back read more

Post offices are just like DMV's -- you'll spend most of your time waiting in line, and you better have your paperwork ready to go when it's your turn. It can be slow during afternoons from 2 - 4pm, but that's normal for any branch. The staff is friendly and helpful. They can suggest the best form of mailing for your needs (Priority, Express, certified mail, etc), help you with tracking, and are pretty good about being helpful. It's a service job, and they do a great job. Just have your papers filled out before heading to the counter (they have extra forms and pens everywhere), or do a bit of research online before heading out if you're not sure what you need. I recommend using services like Endicia or Stamps.com if you're a small business owner; it really speeds things up for occasional shipments and you'll get better rates online. Overall, it's one of the better post office branches -- fairly quick service, friendly staff, and plenty of parking outside. read more
