Before I got there who knows but was there for a solid 15-20 while she was figuring stuff out. The notary was doing documents with a couple which also took a while. There was a third employee who came out, saw the line and told customers to use the kiosk for packages and drop off and then left to the back of the store. All of us required a transaction that required a person. So we just waited. Huge props to the employee who dealt with the difficult client- his patience and customer service was stellar. The employee or manager who left a line out the door while her coworkers were clearly busy and not able to assist the line not cool. Not my first choice of UPS but in a pinch will try this location again.

The documents were scheduled to arrive the evening of the 28th, but they did not. I was leaving the next day, and needed those documents for a trip out of the country. I delayed my departure, and went to Post Office in Scotts Valley, hoping perhaps the package was in their distribution area and I could just pick it up. I was told by staff there that they called the delivery driver, that he had the package, and that he would be delivering it between 10-10:15 AM to the Postal Annex where I have a mailbox. So, I delayed my departure in order to wait for these important documents. At 10:45 when he arrived, he said he did not have the documents, that they called him to ask his ETA but never asked if he had my package. And, he did not have it and knew nothing about it. Unable to wait longer, and since nobody could tell me where the package was at that point, we left town. At 3:34 PM, I received notification that the driver had attempted to deliver the package but the Postal Annex was closed. Nope, they don't close until 5:30PM. So, I called the Postal Annex to find out if they may have closed early. Nope. The owner of Postal Annex confirmed they were, indeed, open. That they were waiting for my package and knew they'd have to hustle to send it overnight to my layover location in Oregon. (Excellent customer service by THEM!) The owner called the post office and told them their delivery person had lied because they were there, they were open, and they were waiting for my package. Magically, the driver returned at 4:03 PM to deliver my package. Interestingly, the tracking information no longer showed the "unable to deliver message" as if it had been deleted. I now have to pay $95 to have it over-nighted to Oregon. I have to use UPS, because that was the only option so late in the afternoon. Our USPS has a terrible reputation and I do my best to avoid them at all costs. This is why. Do better.

First day, he drove right on by and shoved my flag down. So today, I made sure flag is up again. He drove up, shoved my outgoing bills with postage stamps on them to the back and shoved 2 small evelopes in!!!!! Umm, excuse me! USPS you cannot deny you saw those envelopes I'm trying to mail out. What do you think the Red Flad is for???? I had them standing up right toward the front with the flag on. Again, my flag was lowered but he refused to pick up my outgoing letters!!! I cannot leave the house everyday and was hoping USPS could do their job today. My Bad, they cannot!!! This is not to mention all the failed package deliveries and "you have a gate that needs access code" messages. WRONG! No such thing, Just LIES. Also I have a PO Box for 40 years with them, for Gosh sakes they could at least pick up my mail at the home address!!! Worst post office in America!!
