Do not visit this location unless you have an entirely open day. I was there for 50 minutes yesterday just trying to ship a reusable water bottle and a card, and i was the only person in there when i arrived. I made it up to the desk and said that i would just like to ship those items, and i need assistance as i don't usually ship stuff. She then told me, "pick a box" and "pick a rate." So i told her when i would like it to arrive and she said, "starts at 14 dollars." Okay.? She then tells me to go to the BACK of the line and get a box, rather than just getting a box and helping me. So finally they help 3 people in over half an hour. I finally get up to the desk, again, and the other guy tells me they won't ship my box since i tried to fold in the flaps rather than tape it. Why didn't the first girl tell me that? Why can't you just print out a label instead of making me write on a box and telling me you won't ship it the way i did it. So i left without shipping my package because i had already been there almost an hour, and i wasn't going to the back of the line for a 3rd time. Supervisor Cecelia and a male employee assisting with mail holds displayed an extremely cold and monotone demeanor during my visit regarding ongoing mailbox theft in my HOA community. From the beginning of the interaction, the male employee was flat, unresponsive, and lacked any effort to provide reassurance or basic courtesy. When Supervisor Cecelia approached, her tone and body language were similarly cold and detached. I explained that I have already experienced stolen credit cards and personal documents due to mail theft. While I understand that there may be limited options beyond filing online or purchasing a P.O. Box, there was no attempt to acknowledge the seriousness of the situation or to communicate with even minimal empathy. When residents are dealing with identity theft and financial harm, professionalism includes not just providing information, but delivering it with basic human consideration. The complete lack of warmth or de-escalation from both employees made an already stressful situation worse. read more

They say on their website that they have lobby hrs for people to access their p.o. boxes, from 5 am to 9pm on Sunday, but NOPE, went there on Sunday and the building was locked up, no way to access a po box. Also, when you call their phone number on a Sunday to find out anything else about hours, it says call cannot be completed as dialed. Anyway, please fix your website to reflect that lobby hours are NOT available on Sunday! I looked for any other sign or entrance on the building and all doors were locked up tight and the parking lot was empty. Sooooo, wasted a trip. read more

My first time going to this location because it was on the way home. There was a line, but it went by really quick and was just shipping my return. It was super simple and quick and effective. I am experiencing the US Post Office being mutually fair with me in each transaction. To my knowledge, I was sent certified mail from Massage Heights but for fair personal reasons; I have been unable to collect that mail at the date of revising this (Tuesday June 17th 2025.) The wait is fairly reasonable enough given that human beings are both fairly blessed daily; and also fairly flawed from the perspective of eternity as far as I know at the time of writing this. I am aware of some of the habits of effective people today to a fair extent because of a book my fairly good biological mother introduced me to called, "The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People" by Stephen R. Covey. I am hoping that I get to be a sincerely fairly good enough daughter to my biological mother for eternity even with my fairly protective feelings about my younger sisters. I have been fairly helped by an employee of the post office named Amy who provided me mutually fair service at the post office when I was at the post office in person-I forgot the exact date of that. I am having the blessing of having my priorities fairly mutually in order between myself; and the people I have fair feelings for because I am having a fair win=win mentality. I hope to only physically grow older one day at a time while I have the fair honor of being in the human body I have today. I am having myself, and the people that I sincerely love, (based off of literal mutual shared love investments; the more literal shared love; the more individuals sincerely mean to each other,) fairly synergize with good influences that are a fairly good blessing to us in our day to day lives. I am experiencing that one of the effective habits of people who effectively achieve their personal goals is beginning with an end in mind; context of daily life fairly matters. Having the people I have sincerely mutually loving relationships with age one day at a time is normal, and seems fair to me. Some stuff becomes fairly easy enough to let go of one day at a time like superficial beauty standards when the value is still alive deeper in daily life. Tried opening the door, it was closed, not even the lobby was open. After reading the other reviews, I can verify their claims of this location having a lot of mismanagement and neglect. How does this place consider itself a post office. First, they can't print out shipping labels. She told me I could go to the UPS store to get my label printed. I came back and then was told I would have to have the label already pasted on, or I could purchase their tape for $4.00. Their tape isn't even worth $4.00, considering I only needed the bare minimum to attach my return label to my package. What post office doesn't provide tape and handle the labeling and packaging for the customer? I've never had any issues at this location. No rude employees or mishandled packages. Employees are always helpful & friendly. Lines are usually short with the exception of Christmas time but even then they move fairly quickly. It's clean and packing supplies are well stocked. Being located right off of N. Decatur makes it very convenient & easy to get to. read more

This not the official post office associated with my address, but the one that is most convenient for me to access from where I live. A recurrent complaint that I have about this post office, which I only visit when absolutely necessary, is the fact that only one counter is usually open even if the line has gotten quite long and/or some customers have multiple packages to mail. Staffing appropriately adapted to the needs of customers appears to be an ever-present problem here. A general complaint that I have about the waiting in line at the post office experience concerns those extremely rude and inconsiderate individuals (you know who you are!) who always seem to ask a million inane questions when many people are waiting in line to expeditously complete their business and leave. It's as if these apparently clueless wonders (perhaps stupid would be the better term?) have never been in a post office before during their entire adult lives. This issue frequently manifests itself as a person attempting to mail a package that has not yet been wrapped/packaged with none of the pertinent paperwork having been filled out. Step-by-step assistance from the counter staff is expected while those people waiting behind in line slowly develop "the urge to kill". read more

According to my boss, this location never has more than two cars in the parking lot and the interior is always empty. Well, it's Christmas time and there were about ten cars in the parking lot and maybe about that many people waiting in line. Luckily, despite only having two employees working, this location seems to be pretty efficient. The guy worked his counter while the lady walked along the line pre-processing people (finding out what they needed and helping them directly if possible). As a result, I wasn't in there very long at all. To top it off, everyone (including the customers) was in a cheerful Christmas mood. read more

I have never had to wait in the horrendous long line that is always formed at this PO. Why do they only have one counter person at this location? Anyway, they have a self service kiosk which makes it fabulous for me if a need to drop off something or ran out of my meter stamps at home. Being an EBay seller since 2001 I rely most on my mail lady picking my packages up at the door...but sometimes I need something in a rush. I would like to make complaint towards an employee named LaTona clerk# 27. My mother went in to purchase a book of stamps and gave the clerk $20.00 and gave her the cash back without counting it back to her. She walked 4 steps away from the counter and turned around because she noticed she was shorted $5.00. She went back to the same clerk and told her you shorted me $5.00 and the clerk with attitude in front of everyone said "There is nothing I can do", you should have counted your cash before you left my window and besides how do I know if you dropped your cash. My mother was embarrassed in front of everyone because of the way she was speaking. Then my mom asked for her name and she said "My name is Latona", you can have here you go. This is truly unacceptable customer service. I am not sure if she was having a bad day but she should "Never" speak to anyone in that type of tone. My mom walked out the office and then went back in and went back to her and asked to speak with a manager. With again, an attitude and said the manager ain't here she is at the office on Tenaya. You can call or drive over there. Then told my mom I might have not given you the right change or I may have. But I remember given you the exact amount. My mom respond I am not cheating you the $5.00 I was truly short the money given me and there are cameras in your office. I request a manager to email me so that way they can speak with my mother with and advised an apology and want some type of disciplinary action take immediately. Love this place! Safe & well lit! Important when you're dropping off a wedding response card at 2:30 am ;) In all honesty, I truly love this location! Its convenient because it is 1/2 way between my home and my work, its almost always either empty, or near empty, and the staff is always friendly and know me by name! This truly gives it a small town and intimate feeling with in such a big city - as you know, a true rarity in Vegas (one of the main things I miss about my hometown MN).The parking lot is clean, parking spots are bigger then average (awesome as it reduces the chance of your car being dinged) - something that seems to be unavoidable here, and the landscaping is surprising well kept! For a simple post office, they really put a lot of hard work into making this place shine! read more

This particular post office is close to home and I tend to frequent it quite a bit for my EBay hustle. What can you really say about a Post Office. This one isn't bad and I've been here enough times that some of the clerks actually know me by name now (okay, actually it's only one). They all look like they are miserable and hate working there, but when you talk to them; they are actually pretty friendly people providing you with some quality customer service. I give this place a 3 stars though due to the fact that something is always up with their self-serve drop box. I'm not sure what the exact term for it is, but basically you can help yourself at an electronic kiosk thing (if you are shipping something). The actual process is quick, easy, user-friendly, and efficient, but the drop box that you put your package in is always full or broken (it won't even open). This is the reasoning behind my 3 stars. On top of that, they only have 2 clerks running the line (at least every time I go and I've gone during all times of the day and week), making for a very time-consuming wait if you do not want to use the electronic kiosk. Pros: * Clean, Well- maintained location * Priority boxes are always stocked (I find this to be a problem at other USPS locations) * they have the self-service electronic kiosk * passport services and P.O Boxes available Cons: * Drop box is always full or broken * Always busy * Not enough clerks running the line Overall: I'd be fibbing if I were to say I'd never go here again. I want to thank Zora for her amazing customer service. I walked into the post office with a question of where to go to get my passport information completed. She gave me the areas on where I needed to go. I thanked her and informed her that someone left their purse on the counter. She informed me to bring it up to her. I did so and I proceeded on my way. I got everything completed for my passport to be completed and made my way back to the post office, a few hours later. The line was starting to tread out a bit. But I knew I had to get this done. I got what I needed and Keah helped me fill out the information for my passport. She was kind and brought me what I needed, making it easy. Thank you! I had gotten everything completed in line, and Zora waved at me to come up to the front. She then proceeded to check me out and had me on my way. That was one of the nicest gestures that anyone had ever done for me. I had spent the day trying to get my passport completed, and the simple fact of recognizing me and helping me out was the best thing a worker for the post office could have done. I love when people do their jobs and go the extra mile. I was having a long day and I am not one to complain. She made my day, and I hope you give her a raise. Even a management position. If you're here to pick up a package, be prepared to spend a while. They have one worker only who is assigned to handle package pick-ups, as well as mailbox keys and most of the package tracking problems. One. If you try to go through any of the other lines, you are sent to this person. The average wait time is over 30 minutes, and I have waited up to an hour and a half in line due to how long it takes for a single transaction to complete. If your customer are backed up all the way through the post office, you have a problem, and I have never visited when the line is less than 10 people long. I usually have to wait on weekends, when the line is much longer, to pick up any packages, as they average wait time is longer than my weekday lunch break. read more

The post office is never an exciting way to spend your day off at. We were originally at the tenaya location but left after waiting for an hour and half and not making any progress towards our passport applications. We left and came here and to my surprise is was nearly empty. Thank god for sandy, who held our hands the entire process ensuring that everything was filled out correctly. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I called the usps number to figure out which location I needed to go to to get something I needed done and they told me this location. After waiting in a long line, I get to the front and the worker, her name was Rebecca, tells me that they don't do it at that location and I have to go to another one. I tell her that I called and they definitely told me this location to which she says "Yeah you must've called the 800 number, they are always telling people the wrong location" Seriously? They already knew this was a problem and did nothing to correct it? I told her that she should probably say something so they don't keep sending people to the wrong location and she told me that's not her job. I will never use USPS ever because of the imcompetance of the company topped off by the rudeness and lack of care by the staff. read more
