It was a few weeks out when I had placed the reservation in the online portal though. The appointment time was at 3:00, but I was called early! The process was fairly simple, however, payment methods included limited options. The team member mentioned that I could visit a bank nearby and come back to finalize the paperwork process. After I got back, it was around 3:30 and I had put my reservation ID back on the check in paperwork at the front of the US post office location. I only needed to wait another 15 minutes until my name was called again. Service was fast! Hours for this location are Monday through Friday from 8:00 A.M until 9:00 P.M and 8:00 A.M to 4:00 P.M on Saturday. This US Post office is closed on Sunday. Full retail services such as stamps, shipping, PO Box access, and passport acceptance and photo services are available at this location. There were a lot of parking spots available here too. It was easy to get into, one way direction, and back out to Sunset road. I'd recommend this location if you're looking for US Post office services!

Mailing purchases home from Las Vegas…read more.. My roommate is a typical female... She over packed. Maybe I'm like a guy because I bring the necessities... Four pairs of socks, one pair of flip flops, four shirts, etc. She brought (besides the basics) a pair of shorts, a skirt, a pair of sandals, concealer, eyebrow pencil, a hot water maker, instant coffee, a cup, etc. LOL! So - after we shopped at Trader Joe's, she realized that she didn't have enough space in her suitcase. I offered to carry her purchases in my super large backpack, but she refused. I offered to take her to a dollar store so she could get a cheap duffle bag to check through, but she said she didn't want to carry anything extra because she recently had shoulder surgery. I told her what Peter Y. does. He mails his omiyage home. She thought about it for a while and decided she wanted to do that. She went to the bell desk and got Medium sized Flat Rate boxes. She actually wanted the medium boxes with self-adhesive sides. She asked where the nearest post office was - a 15 minute walk from the hotel. Hah! Of course, the medium sized boxes were too small and the bell desk didn't have the type with self-adhesive sides - so she needed to buy tape anyway. Of course, the post office that was a 15-minute walk was closed for renovations! OMG! So, I used my Android phone (she has an Apple phone which cannot search and doesn't have the current location on it) to find the second closest post office where she got large sized Flat Rate boxes. Then, I drove her to buy a permanent marker and sealing tape. After we packed one large sized Flat Rate box, my Android phone directed me to this little post office on Bonanza Street. It's inside a store called Sun Drugs. They close between 1pm and 1:30pm for lunch, so plan your visit wisely. The good things about this post office was that: 1. there's free shared parking in the open lot and 2. there was no line. The not so good thing was that the female worker wasn't able to weigh the box. We just wanted to know how much the box weighed - even though we stuffed the box until the top was curved and not flat anymore... Haha! Oh, well... Thanks to Peter Y. for the great suggestion! We will be better prepared next time!

Postal works have no idea where the letters are going or they say we just put them in a pile to nowhere, smh! I understand that not all letters will get adopted but even my friends/family who sent in letters did not get anything back on their letters. Just sad scamming kids and parents who may have been depending on those gifts. The post Office needs a better system!

There was quite a line when I entered, but I was in and out of there in eleven minutes; I timed it. The lady who helped me, Melissa, started our interaction with an apology for the wait, then weighed my package, gave me pricing options for sending it, and then showed me all the Forever stamps she had on hand since I asked to see them. She didn't rush me and was pleasant the whole time. This place gets my stamp of approval!

I approached the interaction with a positive attitude and respectful energy, but unfortunately, the experience quickly became uncomfortable due to her rude behavior. During our interaction, she raised her voice at me without justification and responded in a very unprofessional manner. After asking me the same question multiple times, she then accused me of speaking to her disrespectfully when I simply answered her question. I felt unfairly spoken to throughout the entire exchange. Customer service should include basic courtesy and professionalism, and sadly, neither was shown during this interaction. There was no effort made to be polite, helpful, or even end the conversation with a simple "thank you" or "have a good day." I hope this feedback is taken seriously so future customers can have a more respectful and positive experience.

There's a lot of things to love about the post office at the airport…read more I barely even knew it existed until I signed up for a PO box there a few months ago. Not only was it a few dollars cheaper than other locations in town, but how convenient to get my mail as I am flying in or out of town, as I often do? I was worried about the parking, but you get 15 minutes for free in Short Term Parking, which is enough time to park, walk in, get your mail, and walk out. There's even enough time to get any packages if there's no line. The downside? The location has 1 employee, and so the hours the post office keeps are shorter than other post offices. So when they've got your package, you have to catch them. They're supposed to be open until 4pm daily, but I showed up at 3pm one day to find the place completely shuttered. Hoping that was an isolated incident, as I love stopping by the airport any other time to grab my mail.

This post office was a life saver. Okay, maybe Im being a…read moretad bit dramatic, but they sure were useful since theyre located within the airport. I was visiting Las Vegas from Hawaii and on our way back we were stopped by security because we had cookie butter and pesto in our carry on luggage. I had no idea about the restrictions of food in a paste substance, and I dont think I had even seen a sign regarding pastes in particular (although I could have just missed it). Upset by the way security started to treat me (a whole other review for the airport itself); but basically they kept insisting that I could just throw the items away or surrender the items to them. And if youre from Hawaii, you KNOW that you dont throw away Trader Joe's, ESPECIALLY cookie butter (that I had JUST bought that day, mind you). So I left the security check point a little aggravated. Now the airport is a bit big, but the post office is in the Terminal 1 I believe, on the second or third floor nearby the Security check for gates C and D. It was a quick 4 minute walk and luckily there was only one other customer there. There was one attendant there, but he greeted me very friendly and actually turned my mood around. He took one look at what I was carrying and said "Uh oh..did you find out about something upsetting?" :) That already started to make me smile. I went on to vent about the whole thing and he said "Ugh! No WAY can you throw out Trader Joes! I bet they just wanted to eat it." His jokes just made me laugh and my mood really started to change. He went above and beyond for me and turned the whole situation around. I was/am really grateful for what he did; anyone could have simply packed up my things and shipped it off. But he took the time to converse with me and actually made me feel better. I got my package in, with everything perfectly fine, two days later. I wish I could remember his name, but thank you to whoever you are. You really made my last memory of this Vegas trip, better. ^___^
