Postal service on a Sunday... Even though the Post Office was closed, I was still able to mail a postcard to Germany. Located on the corner of Martin Luther King Drive and Wheeler Peak Drive, this post office has free parking! I entered the building, noticed that there is a self-service area and post office boxes, then placed my card in the slot for "stamped mail". Mission accomplished! There is a drop box on Wheeler Peak Drive if you don't need or want to get out of your vehicle... yay! Update: I was able to resolve the issue AFTER filing a claim on the USPS website. For that I am grateful. Original post: Over ten days and I still haven't received any resolution to my mail problem. I never get my mail or packages from the PO Box that I pay for. They don't do anything to make it better. They just say the supervisor will call you and they never do. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Multiple things went wrong with this place. First of all, I had an order that was to be delivered. I have video proof of the delivery driver walking up to the door, scanning a drop off card and then leaving with my package. They didn't even try to knock or ring my door bell. Second, we went to send a package and when we picked up a box, the worker told us, "don't charge over me and push me around to get a box." We were waiting for the box area to open, and we're leaning on the wall across the room. Third, when we went to actually send the box, it had a tiny bump in it, but was completely taped up. She told us that since we 'altered the box shape' that they were gonna charge us for weight instead of for the flat rate box. We asked for her to show us where it said that altering the box wouldnt charge the normal cost (we didn't alter the box at all, there was just a bump from a stuffed animal.) and neither of the workers could show us where it says anything about 'altering the box'. She proceeded to try and charge us about $50 for the box instead of the $24 for a large flat rate box and got snippy when we said we would just take our package to ups. Mlk post office, obviously your store is garbage, judging by the low low rating and reviews on every platform. You need to get your stuff together. And you need to train your workers to do their job. Not only are they not knowledgeable about any of their services, but they can't show anyone where any of the 'rules' are. They also speak to your customers very rudely for absolutely no reason. We started our interactions very kindly each time, and the lady could only snap and be snide about how 'stupid' we are to not follow the non-posted rules. Do better. read more

When I put five stars. It's 5 stars. This location was straightforward to navigate to! Upon walking In, the place was clean and neat in appearance. I was assisted by Sherrill who was amazing. And the young lady next to her today was amazing. A customer wanted to mail something overnight and the customer didn't understand the differences in the "envelopes " and started to give the the young lady a little attitude. This young lady said may I show you the difference. Some may not get it. But In Customer service and respect showing asking to show vice telling is a always a win. In my book! During this tough time covid-19 I started to order a lot from home only to find out that this particular post office instructions are to not deliver the packages to the apartments. My apartment has no Gates or dogs. But however the workers are instructed not to deliver the package. I am frustrated with my whole experience at this location and with USPS in general. I was supposed to receive a check from my school and it just so happened to be delivered while I was at work . The mail person left a pink slip in my mailbox. So when I showed up to pick up my package the lady said she was unable to locate my package and would call me when they locate it. She was ignorant and even took my pink slip so how am I supposed to find my package . I looked it up now on USPS website and it shows status is not available . I have steam coming out of my ears. I prefer not to use the post office at all. However I placed an ordere from a company that ships by the post office. The tracking stated it was out for delivery. The package never arrived and the statuss never changed. I called the post office (this location) who was in charge of delivering to see if I could pick up the package. The person who answered the line, had no idea where my pacakge was and advised I would be called back but I was not. Everytime I called after that the line was busy. The customer service at most post offices are terrible, which is why I absolutley rfuse to use them myself. Bare bones post office location with no APC machine so you have to wait in line to mail things. Horrible customer service, and the employees are typically rude and impatient...makes the wait in line even worse because you get up to the counter and the staff for some reason is pissed off every day...the type of attitude that makes you wonder if they'll go postal one day... Although they have bad attitudes, this place is fairly efficient and they get the line moving at a decent speed. I've never had to wait more than 20 min in line, which is short compared to other locations. read more

This place certainly offers everything you need: cards, boxes, labeling, workstation, and p.o. boxes. Suffice it to say, it is government run and they run at their own pace. It should be noted that they are very polite and helpful when you finally get some help! this is one of the worst post offices in vegas if not in the us. they just can't things right. i have lost about 5 packages within a short period of time. they are always mixing up packages. i have had to deliver peoples packages to them because they either ended up in my box or at my door. like seriously... i don't work for upsp. i am not the delivery man/woman. two people have been kind enough to come and look for me to give me my packages because they ended up with them. the other three times, i never received them nor did i get any positive feedback from them after complaining. at the moment as i am typing this, i am so upset because they have yet again lost my package. i just got off the phone with one of the employees about 5 minutes ago to follow up on the case because i went there to complain and was told i would be called but never heard back....that was 3 days ago!!! i'm so upset...like uppercase UPSET. in conclusion, this location sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! To start with this post office, the location of it is on Lake Mead and Martin Luther King, there's a McDonald's, Starbucks, Pollo Loco, and Jack in the Box across the street, so the area has good to offer, on the side if ur looking for a bite to eat, the services they offer are great, shipping packages, mail, overnight, several boxes and containers to pick from, it has Po boxes for this who use them and it is very spacious. The staff is usually very upset looking, they always look angry when u ask them for a pen, the atmosphere is dreadful, there's typical elevator music, and when u get to the employee they don't greet you, and even when u ask them how they're day is going they just look at u, they aren't very much customer service based and it unfortunately really shows here. Everytime I need to send mail I'll go straight to the boxes or work with UPS, FedEx for packages, and even though I'll send packages from time to time, unless it's an emergency and need to stop by here, I always take my business elsewhere. Sorry guys but unless u want to actually thrive and have happy customers I wouldn't even circle that portion for the survey cause it might hurt u more than help u. Also please make sure that you are policing ur lines and making sure people have pens, taped up their boxes and not cutting in front of people. This is the worst place ever. I moved about a month ago and change my address and I still do not have any mail delivered to my new address. When i go to the post office, the wait is incredibly longer and the service is the worst. They don't want to walk to far to fetch the mail, and their attitudes are not that great. Super slow! Don't come here if you are in a hurry! 4 registers, only 1 open and super long line. One guy standing there, watching the lady work who is working the only open register! She flipped out on me stating what you just gonna throw your box up here, again I placed my box on the counter as calmly and nicely as possible. Then proceeded to berate me saying what do you want me to do with it. I calmly stated, well generally when you come into the post office to mail a package you place it on the counter and the clerk provided you with excellent customer service and handles the transaction from there. She yelled at me stating that I needed to wait to be called! I said WHY, the lady you just helped cut in front of me. Anyway, her ruddiness was uncalled for. Apparently the Post Office needs to have a training class in customer service skills because she was clearly lacking. A letter was mailed to me from Phoenix, Ariz on June 15, 2017, postage was due because it weighted 1.3 oz for a total of .21 cents--the Post office didn't try to deliver it until July 3, 2017. On the notice it mentioned that they tried to deliver it to the house at 08:30 in the morning (they didn't, we were home and no one rang the door bell. Post man delivered mail that afternoon and no one tried to reach us about the letter. Then next day being the 4th of July, no Postal service, then on the 5th of July, I went to the Post Office on MLK to pick up the letter and pay postage due--I asked the clerk about why it took so long to deliver the letter or for that matter, to leave us a notice that postage was due, no answer from the clerk. read more
