She is definitely on point with kindness, smiling, bubbly personality, and super helpful. I spent a total of maybe three minutes in there tops. I've been during slow time (only one other woman in front of me) and I've been in a line behind a dozen others. Worst post office I've ever been to. They don't actively listen to your problem because they're too busy trying to talk over you and you have to repeat yourself. I put my mail on a 30 day hold. When I went in today, they said they didn't have mail for me. I had to talk to two different people to try and figure out where my mail was and since I went in person they couldn't tell me when I put the hold on. They then informed me that if I did it online, there would be a record of it. I just don't understand why there's not not a record in person. There should be a record either way. There is no sense of urgency or care to help you with your problem. They were giving the lady next to me the same runaround so if you actually want help, maybe try a different post office. read more

The line was long there was 3 people working, the cashiers took their sweet time. There was no Urgency to get through the line. Several people that walked in committed on how long it was and why it was taking forever. They had majority of envelopes and package's stalked to send out your items. Cashier was quit she didn't seemed thrilled to be at work. They have a room that is separated for passports. There is a sign saying they are hiring. The price of sending out mail has went up again it seems like every 6 months another $2 plus dollars is added to sending out mail. It's so ridiculous I also send out mail almost weekly express over night and more then half the time it is late and I can pick up the money I spent to send it overnight, but that's the thing I want it to be on time and not 2 days that's like sending it through regular mail. read more

Convenient post office location for the Summerlin area, however, there are often not enough clerks which makes the line very long. This is especially true the closer you get to their 5 PM weekday closing time. I would recommend coming earlier in the day if possible! read more

This is the closet Post Office to me and I'm so thankful for this location. It's a very small post office but they get the job done. Normally they are not busy and if there's a line, it's only about 1 or 2 people long. The reps checking you out at the register are always friendly and professional. I've never once had a problem with shipping anything or retrieving any mail that was held for me. When I moved to the area they were prepared and had my new keys to the mail box and everything went super smooth in person. Online I did have some trouble forwarding my entire family's mail to the new address and that was a pain but I finally got it fixed. One thing I will point out is that they've increased their prices by a couple of dollars on certain shipments. Their 2-3 day priority mail went from $7.95 to about $9.65. So far I don't have any gripes about this Post Office. They seem to be doing a pretty good job and I'm glad they are pretty close to where I live. Thanks USPS for meeting all my mail needs! The staff is friendly and efficient. The cleaning lady was polite and she made sure the facility was clean for when they opened. The clerk who assisted me with my passport needs was friendly and fast. Now.... The passport system is broken. There are no appointments available online and the walk in hours are Saturdays 9-12 am. WARNING this is when they open... this is Not when you should arrive. You need to be there around 4-5:30 am the latest to be guaranteed a spot. I was there at 4:30am and was 2nd in line. The process once they open is around 10 min if you are their first, 2nd one. They only accept 12 people, today's sign said 15 people.. so if you're late don't even wait. Tip- there is no bathroom so be prepared and don't drink too much water. Also bring a lawn chair/blankets, entertainment, HEADPHONES ( no one wants to listen to your videos) because you will be camping inside for 4 -5 hours. The facility is open 24 /7 so go inside. You don't have to wait outside in the cold/heat. -safe travels everyone! read more

Nine years of this nightmare PO, Spring Gate. From not delivering usps boxes, no note on door, only way I found out I had a delivery was through informed delivery and had to travel to SP to pick it up. UGH! Make sure you sign up for informed delivery or you will be sorry. Mail theft, checks stolen cashed, mail bank busted 3x, taking over 4 weeks to fix. I've had my neighbors deliver my mail numerous times. Recent issue: mail bank busted and no note on bank for 12 neighbors, over 3 weeks busted (2-4 weeks for a fix??? WTF). We have been putting mail in the outbox and per the usps mgr, today, they are not picking it up and I have a late payment on a piece of mail. Do not trust this PO, you'll be sorry. There is an employee that every single time that I get him, he gives me a hard time about mailing a card to Ireland. The first time, he actually measured the card and told me that it was the size of a package. It was just a flat normal size birthday card. Another employee overheard and told him that it was by weight. I went today and he wanted to charge me $22 to mail a Christmas card because it was heavy. He said that it had to be sent as a package!!!! I pointed out it was supposed to be by weight. He argued with me. So I took it to a UPS store and they mailed it for $5!!! They pulled out a card and showed me that it didn't require any special handling if the card cleared the slot. It did with plenty of room to spare. The other employees are fine but this guy is a jerk. His name is Jelleb or something that starts with a J. It's an unusual name, so I really can't remember it. I hope someone other than me complains about this guy, he really needs to get off his high horse and charge correctly. I shouldn't have to drive somewhere else to mail my card. This is our post office so I Yelped it to find out their hours and was shocked by the reviews. Geez. We've been here probably 8-10 times since moving here in Nov., 2020 and have never had a less than great experience. We've had to pick up our mail keys from here now twice and it couldn't have gone more smoothly both times. Quick and efficient. Some are friendlier than others but they've all been courteous and helpful. We had two boxes to send off today and we were in and out in less than 3-4 min. And that's only because we wanted receipts. I will miss my post office in Henderson, it was my go to off green valley. Wasn't close to where I use to live, I had one down the street from me. Based on the bad reviews, I thought my experience here was going to be negative. I'll note that I arrived around 8:30 a.m. All the workers were beyond kind and helpful. I was assisted by a lady with glasses at the front and another woman in a green shirt at the pickup area. They were both so friendly--I wish I had gotten their names so I could reference them directly, but they absolutley deserve five stars. I understand people have had bad experiences here, and I don't want to invalidate that. I hope future customers remember how stressful retail jobs can be. The drop box for parcels is not working at least 50% of the time. I have made several trips at night to drop off packages and found it inoperable. Once I even paid for and scanned my package, only to find I couldn't leave it. This is for years. Either replace it or take it out and don't pretend this is a service provided here. I really do not understand how this USPS does not have 5 stars. The customer service is always wonderful and you are in and out in no time. They definitely get 5 stars from me! Location: Of course, it is located in a private lot with plenty of parking. Customer Service: FANTASTIC! The level of customer service is always consistently great. Jerelle is awesome. He really seems to care about every customer who comes to do business with him. All of the employees are great, I just don't remember their names! Even though the line may get long, especially during the holidays, they move quickly and get you in and out. Overall: This is a really great location. Dropped off 15 packages inside the post office on 3/17. All with online postage purchased and ready to go! Half of the packages were NEVER even scanned and just disappeared. Over 200.00 in product just disappeared. Went to ask about it was told to file a claim, was told to go to website and file missing mail claim. No help at all! I would say it's a little suspect that same day drop off half were scanned and half went missing/never even scanned as the rest! read more

Had two people at the counter when I walked in with one jumping on the closed register shortly after, long line but they handled it great I think. Straightforward, efficient. I went online to hold mail service to start on July 21st and end on July 31st. I received the email confirmation from USPS of the hold request. Yet, we received mail the first day of hold service, July 21st. On July 30th, I received an email that the hold service is ending soon and that they will resume regular mail delivery on August 1st, and yet we received mail on July 31st. Horrible! They never held my mail. Good thing I asked my neighbor to periodically check my mailbox while we're away, so he did and kept them until we got back. Just tried calling during business hours to let them know of this issue, but the phone just kept ringing then disconnects. Terrible service!! read more

Leaving this review because they allow their employees to treat people so horribly! I can't tell you how many times the mailman was too lazy to deliver my packages to my door, making it so I have to go to this horrible place to get my packages. I had a very serious issue with my wedding invitations being sent to the wrong address. They act like their job is so hard and they can't even read a envelope correctly! My 11 year old niece could tell the difference between the FRONT of an envelope and the BACK of an envelope, but for some reason their mailmen can't seem to know what address to send the invite too! COLLEEN should not be allowed to work in the public. She is very rude and could careless about how important it was my invites got to where they needed to go by a timely matter. I have never been treated so horribly by a service worker! She clearly hates working here. I'll never mail anything through the USPS ever again. If Amazon can handle 30 million packages, yall need to be able to handle the 2 million that you guys have to deal with! Also to the managers reading this, a corporate complaint was filed on Dec 9th 2021 due Colleens behavior and her employee misconduct, offering to DELIEVER my invitation herself and then laughed in my face! So, I was a walk in for my appointment this past Saturday and was there about 45 minutes before they opened and there was already a long line. The walk in appointments for passports filled up quickly but Mark Anthony decided to take 5 more which I was a part of along with a young couple that was getting married in a few months in Costa Rica and we were very thankful. I am a connoisseur of post offices. I am. Ask anyone that knows me. Big cities, small towns, Las Vegas, Midwest, Asia, Europe...I have been to my fair share. I believe in the handwritten note. I believe in the hand picked stamp. I love the feeling of delivering a card and slipping it in the mail slot. I geek out a bit over post offices. I think I may be a reincarnated Pony Express rider. I feel bad because my poor Summerlin station post office gets a bad wrap. I'm a Yelper and a snail mail card sender, so this makes me qualified for this review. I have been coming to this station for 15 years. From the Yelpers out there who write one review a year and that is normally to complain that the post office has screwed something up, I write today to provide some advice to help you manage your expectations for an average every day visit to this post office. 1). Unless you live in a sealed box, with the Internet, instant messaging, e-mail, socially connected world we live in today, you might not know that the post office is a bust and loses money. As such, there have been cutbacks to staff, etc. ADVICE: ALWAYS HAVE THE EXPECTATION THAT THERE WILL BE A LINE. 2). "Going Postal" is a coined phrase because manic, short on time, selfish patrons who do not treat others with respect drive post office customer service reps crazy. ADVICE: REVISIT POINT 1 FROM ABOVE AND CHILL. 3). The customer reps at the counter are actual people with lives and spouses and friends and pets and aging parents and debt. They are nice, normal, friendly people. If you are coming to the post office to fix a problem of a broken lock, lost mail or some other f-up, these folks are legitimately there to try to solve your problem. They are not the grand puppeteer pulling strings in the back to ruin your day, so cut them a little slack. Don't kill the messenger and don't bite the hand of probably the only person who is going to rectify your situation or get you moving in the right direction to solve. ADVICE: REVISIT POINTS 1 AND 2 FROM ABOVE AND BE CIVIL. 4). Shit happens. Calm down, take a collective sigh and know the post office is not perfect (what organization is?) ADVICE: YOUR LIFE BAR IS TOO HIGH IF YOU WANT PERFECTION AT THE POST OFFICE. 5). And if you are one of those people who are standing in line and grumbling under your breath about the line and the wait and how this sucks and how this is the worst and how your important life is really important and you do not have time to wait....ADVICE: ZIP IT! This post office is absolutely the worst. The parking lot is very dark and dangerous after hours. The landscaping is pathetic. Weeds and loose rocks everywhere. The outside drive up mailboxes are the always full. Now there's only one left. There used to be three. Can't someone see that? The inside needs a face lift.
