Went in to mail some keys that needed to be overnighted. Process was really simple, guaranteed arrival at noon next day. It arrived. However, it was just an empty envelope, no keys, no sign of tampering. Not going to point fingers at anyone. They were really nice about taking info and putting in the claim. Could have happened in the shipping facility. But an empty envelope? Really? Needless to say this has caused huge problems because those keys were pretty important. Hopefully they can locate them soon but I don't have my hopes up. I don't leave reviews often but this has caused a massive inconvenience for multiple people. read more

This is a great location of The UPS Store. The staff is friendly and super helpful. I need to send a dress back for my wife. She sent me with detailed instructions and a look that said don't mess up! I walked in with the paperwork, instructions, open box, and tape in hand. The lady behind the counter stopped me before I could ask for help. Like a shining light form above she took care of the whole thing! I did not even have to provide my own tape, and I walked out with a receipt for my wife as verification of my victory. Quick easy and good service. I always need to send things whether it be packages to friends, sending taxes, gifts for birthdays. I'm new here to Las Vegas and have been trying to find "my store." Well here it is. This place was decently busy, but for this particular time, all I needed to do was return an Amazon package. I had the package already packed, labeled properly and ready to go, so when the worker was helping someone else which took awhile, he asked if this was an amazon package and just told me to leave it and he'd take care of it. Wow that's pretty amazing. It's rare to see anyone multitask in a job, you actually have to care and here I am talking about it. I stood in line at the post office only to find I had to return an Amazon purchase at a UPS Store...who knew? While at the post office I was prepared to purchase an $8.00 mailing envelope, instead I decided to do everything in one place. No lines at the UPS store, the envelope I was going to purchase was only $1.00, and I was greeted by 3 smiling faces...great start. The girls in the store were more the helpful especially around Christmas time. I was mailing a prepaid package small went to another UPS they said I had to go to a post office. They explained as long as it's not a huge package or food ect they could do it. Not only did they do it they help me wrap the tape along the boxes. WOW!! The customer service here is BEYOND amazing. I honestly wish I had more shipping needs. The employees at this location need to write a book on customer service because WOW! You may be wondering why they have three stars...ignore that. I went through the reviews and the most recent one star review was two years old. Most of the negative reviews are AT LEAST five years old. I'm not sure where the change happened, but this is location is NOT deserving of three stars. This is the easiest five stars I have ever given out. I had a package forwarded to this location; after work I went to check and see if it was delivered. Upon entering the store, I was instantly greeted even though they were working with another guest. I observed as they helped her. She didn't speak any English at all and the two employees couldn't have been any more patient and helpful if they tried. They made sure to get her exactly what she needed even with the language barrier. Fred let the other employee finish up as he assisted me. I explained I was having trouble getting a package delivered and finally had them forward it. He looked through all the packages and couldn't find it but insisted on helping me. He gave me all the times the trucks would be in and out of there and took my name and number to personally call me when my package arrived. The next day came and I was going to go again after work. Places always say they'll call and never do, why would this be any different? I was wrong!!! I received a call bright and early in the morning stating that my package was there. Bonus: it was even Fred that called. The employees went through the effort of forwarding my information on to be sure I knew exactly when it arrived. What a ripoff. I attempted to return something I received from Amazon via USPS. The envelope and contents weighed 1.6 ounces. This store tried to charge me nearly 9 dollars (to return a 15 dollar item in a small envelope, the same one that the Amazon seller used). I questioned the sales clerk and he told me "if you don't want to pay it, take it somewhere else". I did, the Post Office. Total cost, $1.29. Not only are their shipping charges outrageous, their staff is rude and basically have a take it of leave it mentality. I left it and so should you. read more

I like the convenience of the UPS Store on the corner of West Charleston Blvd. and Durango. There is a Chevron and CVS in this location at the Durango Commons. The U.S. post office branch is on Town Center near the Summerlin Parkway in Summerlin at The Trails. Therefore, I save time by planning my errands to access services at the Durango Commons. Another time saving factor is the line at the UPS Store rarely has more than one other patron waiting for service. I appreciate the friendly and quick service. The UPS Store offers a variety of copying services including self-service photocopiers. If I want to quickly complete a task, I can depend on the brevity of my visit and availability of service. The Albertsons on Buffalo at Vegas no longer has copier and driving to FedEx Kinkos is at Tenaya and Lake Mead is away from my usual commute. read more

Peter!!! I cant say enough great things about him. The entire situation was really upsetting. My family's Christmas presents were no longer in the box I shipped. Not accusing anyone of stealing, but when I called the customer care team through UPS....what a shame!!.They basically said I have to head to the store I shipped my package from. Peter made this very annoying and upsetting experience not so confusing, and even provided me a much needed happy ending. He communicated with me throughout the entire process, and followed up with any status updates he had, along with getting me a refund on my lost items. It was obviously not the full amount I had paid but I'm honestly thankful that my existence was even acknowledged let alone get a portion of a refund. Save yourself some hassle and just go to the UPS Store on Durango & Desert Inn, this store is horrible. We went there to get a document notarized. Prior to showing up we checked to make sure that a notary was working and the lady said that she could notarize documents,. Great, so far so good. Well, when we got there she refused to perform the notary services! She said that since she just got her notary she won't notarize documents that she doesn't understand. What an idiot! I tried to explain that it isn't her business what's in the document, she's only responsible for making sure that the person signing the document is who they say they are and witness the signing. She disagreed and was really rude about it. I shouldn't have expected much out of her since she looked like they found her under an overpass and reeked of cigarette smoke. Do you sell single stamps? NO. Really? Ughhhh what happened to those days where you can get a single effing stamp!? I came here to send out a letter, well 2 actually. Now I normally just have stamps alas I didnt. So instead of buying a book I opted for the weighted send out they provide. Sooooo, I lost my wallet in March. Called around everywhere I thought it could be. Nothing. Apparently I left it here unbeknownst to me. Fred's angelic butt called my credit card company attempting to be helpful so maybe they'd help me find my lost wallet--Chase Bank was a disaster, they didn't contact me. I had to renew everything including my license which was a debacle. However, months later I come to drop off a package, and Fred runs back after me as I leave to go to my car because he REMEMBERED MY NAME as the lady from the lost wallet situation, and gave it back to me. How sweet, honest, professional, helpful, above and beyond. So, months later I finally have my extra ID back, credit cards have been destroyed, and I have all my credits for random stores back! AND Shara helped me with an insanely detailed, difficult return to China from a fraudulent seller. It took over 30 minutes to figure out, but she was patient the entire time, did what needed to be done get it shipped, and was friendly from beginning to end. Whenever I have a package to mail back with a pre-paid label they don't turn me away and tell me they can't take something to send unless I'm paying for it as 2 other UPS stores have told me.
