I was waiting 30 min on a line to drop off my packages and the lady on the counter kept talking and laughing with the customer she work with

I was charged $3 to print a label. It came out very large, but not impossible to use. He didn't like the size so he printed a smaller one- which came out miniature- not able to be used. The third attempt was smaller than my hand but I guess just right? Such a slap in the face to be charged an astronomical amount for printer paper only to have him casually print several others for no reason. $1.50 MAX per page is reasonable. Terrible customer service. Ive been customer of UPS for more than 7 years at Decatur Blvd with Flamingo, and recently I moved to Summerlin and that store is closer to my house. But the treatment that that lady who works there made me, even with the distance, renew my mailing box at Decatur store. She is so rude, so unhappy, Im sure she hates her job. This franchise location is super over priced, I brought a few light items to ship to Connecticut and the lady there saw my items and comes along with a massive box and a sad face like that's the only size she had left, so basically she packaged my things for almost $20 a that normally cost $2.98 cents at Home Depot and then charged me $1 per page to print an RMA and label. Then she quoted me $98 for shipping, assessed my expression and discounted me $73 for a smaller box "All of a sudden" she finds a smaller box Then I'm like "How do you come up with such a quote" she says, it's the size and where it's going that makes it expensive... this place is a bamboozle! I'm writing a review after my second encounter with the man with glasses who works there. The first time he did not acknowledge me for a while talking about sports to two leaving customers who kept glancing at me noticing me waiting with a package while he kept talking about boxing. I even recorded it cause i was shoooockeddd when they finally left he answered his cellphone from his wife and was having a full blown conversation with her while I had questions about overnighting a package. He messed up a part and said "it's because I was on the phone sorry that was rude of me." And proceeded to tell me details on his neighbor in California who lost her mind. I left thinking I am never going back there. Then I came again yesterday, I clearly had amnesia until i saw the same man and cringed. I had to ship an order so he told me I had to go to the post office because my QR wouldn't work unless I had a printed label. So I said no I'm not going to the postal office I'll print it and I'll be back as I was about to walk out to print it, I turned and said do you guys print things here? And he said oh yeah (like why would he not offer that?) so then I sent my label to the email, he never told me a price or that they charge for it and then he charged me $7 for a box. Let me slide my card and said "oh you know what I forgot to charge you for the label, I knew something was off." And I said for the print? And he said yeah it was $2.75 so I said ok??? Go ahead and he said no it's fine looking away irritated as if it was my fault. He has ZERO customer service skills I will never go back here and tell everyone not to go to that location. His behavior is awful. I should have said something the first time but I didn't want to make a scene he really needs to be in the back of the office working with a stapler not people. read more

Be aware that if the self service machines are not working, you are directed to the computer terminal where of course, there is a charge to make 26 copies PLUS a Computer rental fee of $1.50. Suggest you go to Fed Ex. Fed Ex is much better equipped for self service functions. read more

First bad review ever. Have to be super upset to do this. Went in today, bought a box for what I was sending. Told the guy I needed to print a label. He said to email it to their email. So I did. He said when it comes through we will take care of it. Waited on the side. Then he calls me up to the counter and proceeded to ask for my info. I begin giving him my info. He asks for the recipients address and I say "it's on the label I'll be printing" he's like " you're printing a label? Then why am I doing this and taking your information?" He goes into the back and starts talking crap out loud to the lady that also works there. I tried to stay calm but then I stated my case. I said "I told you I was printing a label and you specifically told me the email to send it to. You asked for my information and I kindly gave it to you. I didn't know it was to make another label? I told you i needed you to print me one. I don't know your job or your protocols, I'm not a shipping expert or an employee here and I don't appreciate you making me look stupid as if this confusion is my fault!" Anyway, I can't stand people or places that don't take accountability. He could've said sorry mis communication on my part, I forgot you were printing a label. But to go in the back and talk crap super loud making me look stupid. Thinking I wouldn't snap back because I look like a young sweet girl? Sorry sir, not today, you picked the wrong girl! Store # 1104 Sahara/fort Apache September 25th 2023 I can't believe I am writing my first review and it's a bad one sadly, I had very important papers only a few I needed printed and just faxed to one number, I didn't mind paying any price for my service but my family is going threw a very hard time right now with a eviction and my fiance is in the hospital I take 3 buses to work to provide for my family never the less you never know what someone is going threw and should always be kind especially when your working and there your customers for bussiness i understand it gets busy but there was no customers in the store my whole time there i work in the medical field and you should always be kind. The employee she has short hair brownish she's about 5'1 was working by her self mid 40s or 50s happened at 09/25 @6:12pm she's been there at this location for awhile now she's done my fiances work papers in the past and she was extremely rude all I needed was 5 mins of her time and she yelled at me I was so nice to her and she states did you send it to the store1104@theupdstore.com email? I said yes then she printed it off I then told her I needed the eviction notice printed off too off the 2nd email and she said seriously we close in 15 mins and you do this? I can't believe this I've been here since 8am and want to go home your crazy you want me to print these and fax too! Very rude I said yes you close in 15 mins and that's how you treat your customers? I told her I'm sorry I called before I came down and my bus was late I take the buses and I'm going threw a eviction threw a hard situation for my family I can't believe you work in customer service and your this mean! It's a pity for me to leave this review, as the lady who assisted me was very welcoming, personable & professional. Unfortunately, this time, I simply requested to print a 2-page PDF document (that I emailed to their store address). It cost me a whopping $3.50!!! I was too shocked, as this is the most expensive I've ever had to pay, for the same in any of the UPS stores I've used: Florida, California & even other UPS stores, here in Vegas. I wish I'd known ahead of time, but the document was important to me, & time was of the essence. The UPS store near me only charges $0.35. I asked the lady why so expensive, & she replied: "...use of the printer, the ink, & the paper." Another store (in California) charges a $1 fee to send the document to them to request it be printed (SMH), but after doing so, it doesn't cost $1.50, & it's the same good (I might add) quality. The lady then confirmed what I'd deducted: these small stores are franchised, so they charge whatever prices they want... I'd say it's time for me to invest in a personal printer (again)!!! read more

Horrible customer service!! I live right around the corner and honestly I will now drive to the next UPS just to avoid dealing with them. The gentleman with the beard is the ONLY nice one there. I only try to deal with him but when he is off you get the woman and tall guy. They are ALWAYS rude. Had a debate about an amazon return and the best part was they couldn't even wait until I walked out of the store to start talking bad about me. We showed up 5 minutes prior to opening and they still hadn't opened the door as of this review, at 0910 by my phone and the clock that I could see on the back wall. If the business that I need to promptly ship my package cannot open on time, should I trust them to ship my package promptly? [covid-19 specific] I would suggest avoiding this store if you have any worries about contracting the coronavirus. The store owner/manager was wearing a mesh mask when I went in the other day. The kind of mask that is completely see-through and does not stop any particles from being sent into the air. There was plexi glass up but I don't feel comfortable going back to this store again if this is how management responds to a pandemic. I stumbled upon the store one day while looking for an alternative in the area to a local competitor for I received bad service. The staff in the store did not disappoint me. I had a pre-paid label on a box, and after a prior experience elsewhere, I was leery to drop it off. Not only did they receive money prepaid label box with open arms. They provided me with the receipt containing the tracking number. Wow, was this a change from the place across the street! I realize that prepaid labels do not produce any income for such a small business franchise. I also believe that owning a small business, you cannot afford to turn away customers or provide for service. Great customer service and kindness are things that we all remember. Since that first day with my prepaid label. I have returned to the store several times with both prepaid labels and to use their paid services. The store has a nice selection of legal documents and reasonably priced PO boxes. I had to write this review because even though most postal franchises offer many of the same services, I've been compelled to drive out of my way to patron this store based on the great customer service. This place is usually good, and the people are usually nice who work there. I understand that it may have been a tough day for them. However in my personal opinion tapping your fingers on the desk is rude and I feel rushed. I have been going to this place for years and usually it's a great place to go, but some changes have been put in effect including new employees as well as a ridiculous computer system that makes it harder to perform tasks just because they want it more automized. Honestly, I will probably start going to the one about 2 miles away near Charleston Hualapai as they seem to be always friendly and the computer system is originally how I've used it. read more

I have been to the store three times and all three times I felt like I got ripped off. On this particular occasion I was returning an item bought on Amazon. I had a scan code and a return label in my phone and they charged me to print out a single piece of paper. When I objected, the woman replied ".... my paper and printer cartridges cost money so you have to pay". No apology, no accommodation, just pay up. I will never come here again. They are rude and inefficient. As I was standing there waiting for this person, they were calling a previous customer to return to the store because they had missed a critical signature. This person had to drive all the way back because of their mistake. Avoid at all cost! read more
