I found this handy-dandy post office while I was visiting my pain management doctor. Luckily, this post office was nearby since I needed to drop off a package. I've been using this location on a regular basis since 2019. It has consistently been the fastest and friendliest location in the northwest(and I've used them all at one point or another.) This is the go-to, small town vibe, neighborhood post office for us and so many others compared to the larger offices which tend to be filled with tired, disgruntled employees. The staff I interacted with were polite and helpful, but getting served was frustrating. It seems understaffed, lines are long, and wait times are unpredictable. Lady working there is very rude all because she needed to go on break yet there's a line of us patiently waiting. It's 9:43am and their hours of operation is from 9:30am-5:30pm. No sign of delay or any sign that the doors would be open soon and there's a line outside waiting. What's going on? Security says that the person is on vacation and that theirs a substitute for the person. Unbelievable. Terrible situation. This woman that works here is very rude and unprofessional. I came in today at 4:53PM. Once I got to the front of the line at 5:11PM the older African-American woman with glasses asks me what can she do for me? She proceeded to say that she is closing at 5 and not 5:30PM which is the time this location closes. The woman tells me that didn't see me come in the Albertson's store and get in the line so she can't help me or another woman that was behind me who got in line prior to 5PM. When I tried to explain that I was indeed in line, she tried to silence me by speaking over me. It's not worth it to argue with a crazy person so of course I didn't go there with her but I have seen her do this to people before and it's unfortunate that she believes it's okay to speak to people in the manner that she does. This USPS is conveniently located inside of Albertsons. I come here when I need to do some shopping at Albertsons and at the nearby CVS. Employees are usually nice & helpful. I have never experienced any incidents of packages being mishandled here. Inside is small but they are well stocked with shipping supplies & forms. Lines can get long (depending on the time of day) especially during Christmas so please be patient and don't act like jerk! I take advantage of USPS "Click-n-Ship" so I drop off my packages without having to stand in line. Try it and save yourself some time. read more

It was Monday 2:11pm and the doors was closed, but could here people talking. Another customer, like me wanted to drop off a box and there was no explanation why the door was closed. We both knocked and the customer heard the clerk say that they were at lunch and be back at 3pm. I must have said loudly enough for them to put a sign when they were going to be back. Soooo I waited patiently until 3pm in my car since I didn't want to drive all over town just drop off a box. I came back to see a sign that they will not be back until 3:30pm. Who takes over 1hr lunch under government time? I see so many negative reviews in this location why haven't it changed anything. read more

I have been going here for more then 2 years. I go there 3 times a week. Alex who works there "By Herself" welcomes everyone and gets thing done. She offers help and tells you what your looking for n helps even when she's helping others. Working by Yourself is very stress full but yet she gets the job done. Some people complain because it's easy to do. Some people love her cause they know that she's doing her job to the fullest for being and doing her job. Absolute worst customer service ever. The manager went on his lunch break even though the other associate had a computer that could not process orders. It essentially closed down the post office for half an hour. The associate and manger couldn't have cared less. Very very rude and Miserable employees who work there been there twice and there is always a line with 2 employees and only one doing some what of a job. Seems they hate there job that they don't even want to let you barrow a pen or yet lend you a small piece of tape. My package had a small edge open so I asked them if I may have a small piece of tape just to drop it off and go with my kids, no they just ignore you and make you Waite than tell you NO! you can buy tape. Its Just ridiculous how just a simple good deed can go a long way but they refuse to help the Customer. I either go home with all 3 of my kids in this hot Weather and come back or just buy their over price pack of tape for $4.00 just to get a half of finger piece of tape out of it. Didn't get her name, but she's an older lady, brown hair, caucasian. She worked today, 12/28/2016 at 4:30pm, she is extremely rude. Very unhelpful. I asked her to define "retail" for me because I was unclear why I was being charged $20 for ground shipping for a less than 4 pound package. Lisa is a lovely legend! She's the only USPS employee I've seen here in 2 years so I can't comment on the other reviews, but they seem strange based on my experience. Lisa runs this place perfectly on her own, she's always warm, pleasant and efficient. Sometimes the line can be a few people, sometimes there is no line. I've never seen her act anything other than professionally and politely, if all UPSP staff were like Lisa there would be little to no problems nationwide, she is an example of what a really good worker can do. read more

This would be a great neighborhood convenience if it were not for the fact that their opening hours are seemingly random. One can go to post a package anywhere between 12 noon and 4 pm and there is a high likelihood that it will be closed for "lunch". I hope to think that my tax dollars are not paying for these workers to run this post office like this. If so, it's no wonder the USPS is in trouble. I always come here to drop off my packages and everyone has been pretty nice so far! I even pick up free packing material here and they are cool with it. I usually just drop it off in the giant laundry looking basket/bin and nothing has gotten lost (done this 10 times already). If there's no line I'll get a receipt. Convenient spot. read more

2nd time in a week i have tried to use this post office. 1st time a ypung rude girl refused me service because it was 5:23 when i got here and she was the only one on staff!! ZERO STARS!!! I have never been treated so poorly by this particular employee in my entire life. First, she yelled at a old lady for opening the closed door to see if they would still take their packages. Then grumbling to her fellow employees how rude & ignorant it was for them to just open the door like that. Also yelling at a young couple that they need to close the door after them rudely. Not nicely, no "please", just utterly rude. 2nd, this was my turn. Clearly this postal worker is disgruntled because she is in a bad mood & had a long day. I asked for help if she had a thin wide box for the Vinyl i sold off ebay. Each time she would cut me off and show me a flat rate medium box, which was not what I was asking for. 3rd, incredibly, she actually accused me of stealing!!! You know how, because I printed out a label that was for only for CD's or books. I tried to explain to her multiple times I just printed out the cheapest one from my phone off eBay. Yet, kept giving me attitude and calling me a thief. I gave her three times to take it back, each time, she told me I was stealing. Unbelievable!!!! I offered to pay the difference and she still wanted to call me a thief. Who does that??? 4th, After asking for her name, so I would talk to her manager, I responded in kind to her awful behavior(I admit, I told her off with cursing), when I turned to walk away, she said, "You are lucky I do not slap your bitch ass". Clearly she didn't want to take the extra 15 minutes to help me because she would have to stay later., I have been to this place multiple times. I absolutely despise going to the post office in Vegas. The line tends to rival that of the DMV and I've seen the arm pit of humanity there...like the customers screaming at a deaf woman to move, or the woman who knocked into a grocery cart with a child in it just to cut me off in line (this post office is in a grocery store right next to the bank also within Albertsons, so you can kill all your annoying errands with one stone). But this location seems to be a little nicer, the people waiting in line will chat you up (that's rare in Vegas, and what this southern girl misses about home!) But the people that work there are so nice, friendly faces that make the whole post office process suck less. They work as fast as they can and will even give you tricks to get the best shipping rate. The post office never gets love, and they deserve it after seeing how some of their many customers act...lets just say no one is going postal at this post office :) read more

Great service! Carleena was such a great help and a very sweet lady. I haven't had this great customer service at a post office before. Plus how cool is it that they are open on Sunday! There was hardly any line and I was helped in minutes. It's also great that most days this post office is open till 7pm while most close at 5pm. read more
