I had a disappointing experience at this UPS Store due to the customer service provided by an employee named Sharol. Before I was helped, I observed Sharol interacting unprofessionally with multiple customers. There was no greeting when customers entered, and her demeanor suggested frustration or displeasure with being at work, which created an unwelcoming atmosphere. When it was my turn, the attitude continued. I was attempting to conduct business and was also interested in signing up for a PO Box. Unfortunately, the tone and level of service I received were dismissive and discouraging. The interaction gave me serious concerns about the type of customer support I would receive on an ongoing basis. Sharol is honestly a gem! I stopped into this UPS Store and she helped me out big time...even when she didn't have to. She was super friendly, super helpful, and honestly just a joy to talk to. You could tell she genuinely cared and wasn't just going through the motions like so many people do. What really stood out to me was how she interacted with everyone. Customers were smiling, laughing, and clearly knew her by name. She had that whole place feeling like a little neighborhood hub. I'm sure she deals with a ton of people every day who are in a rush, grumpy, or just plain rude (we've all seen it!), but you'd never know it. She kept a great attitude the whole time and treated everyone with patience and kindness. If I lived closer to this location, I'd be in here all the time just because of the vibe she creates. She refused my package from the ups driver, claiming there was a big tear, I had her call the delivery driver to retrieve the package, after receiving it there was barely a tear in the package. This location is right next to my house and I'd say 80% of the time I go in the elderly "manager" is giving an attitude to somebody, and today I guess was my turn. After the guy took my bags and printed the label and gave me receipt he asked his coworkers is this the one you have to pack yourself - keep in mind the company literally gives options for the type of return and the one I selected said NO box or label required but one of the ladies said I have to pack it myself. When I said the option I selected was just a drop off she raised the octave of her voice and told me I was wrong. I asked why every time I'm in here you're being rude to someone she got louder and defensive and told me it's how I took it about 10x to which I just replied no it's how you say it. I asked when the manager was working and he points at the same time she's loudly proclaiming that she is the manager and laughing so I asked if there was owner and received their name and when they would be in the store. The guy who didn't even know initially then proceeded to tell me that's how the shipping is as if he wrote the company policy for where I was returning my stuff. I said I wasn't going to argue about and it's on the brands end and asked for the label so I could go home and find a box to which he did. Then the very elderly lady that works there inserts herself in the conversation and says I can't take the label I said I was coming back and why not she just kept saying it's your property I told her it wouldn't let me redo the return she said fine take it but then goes up to the computer and starts trying to cancel the label. The guy working was nice and said he wouldn't let them cancel it and would hold the label for today so I had to go out of my way and come right back vs tomorrow when it was more convenient. The man working was nice but the 2 ladies in there are awful. I have never seen more senior lady in there but as I said the manager I've seen on many occasions and she typically has a bad attitude with somebody. Based on other reviews it's a common occurrence. Staff were extremely rude and unprofessional and should not be working in customer service. I told them it was my first time shipping internationally and although they explained that I have to itemize the items in the box including the prices for customs purposes and the risk of the package being returned if inaccurate items were shipped, they were very unhelpful and unprofessional throughout the whole process. I told them that I do not know the exact prices of the items as my cousin was the one who bought them and if I can just give a rough estimate. The employee told me to start putting the items one by one on the weighing scale and as I placed a hat on the scale I told her that I'm thinking it was $50, she made a judgmental comment "$50 for a hat?!" The other lady then went on and said that I should have the EXACT price of the items and I told them AGAIN that I did not buy the items and do not want to make prices up and I can just do a rough estimate, the lady who was helping me then said "you just made the price up though". She then added "you're gonna have to call your cousin so she could tell you the price". When I told her that I am going to call my cousin, and as I pulled out my phone, the lady said annoyingly, "you're gonna call her right now?!" At this point I was just getting more irritated and felt VERY disrespected and embarrassed especially in front of OTHER CUSTOMERS that I told them I'm just going to take my business elsewhere. As I was walking out the door, the short-haired lady yelled "It's just going to be the same elsewhere". I went straight to the USPS Tenaya location and was able to ship my cousin's box in 5 mins with no issues and staff were VERY helpful and friendly. I used to work in retail and customer service and I believe that employees should be at THE VERY LEAST, BE RESPECTFUL to customers if they CANNOT be friendly, helpful, or approachable. Also, the employee who "helped" me should not be judging how much people spend on their items out loud especially when she's not the one who paid for it (the hat was indeed $50 after I asked my cousin). I understand that people may have bad days at home or at work but that should not affect the way employees treat their customers. My experience at this location just shows that the other reviews on Yelp and Google are true, and sadly I would not be coming back to your location and would let others know to stay away. read more

As someone that has worked for UPS I was Completely shocked at the poor service! I went into return a cell phone. All I needed was for them to give me a small piece of tape maybe about 6inches for the box and for them to scan the label to get returned and Sharol said it is not their responsibility to provide tape for everyone. I told her as a UPS employee I have never heard of that and she kept on being rude always had an attitude and making faces. A customer that was there even asked why they would charge me for a piece of tape and Sharol went ahead and started saying smart remarks and being rude to him. I usually go to this store location #3246 located in the shopping center on Buffalo and Lake Mead for services. Today, I went to print out a copy of one page. I was charged $3.27 for the copy. I've done this numerous times and was shocked at the large increase in price. I asked why it cost so much and was told "we just raised our prices two weeks ago". I called the Billing Dept. and was told that each UPS is owned separately and they could not give me a price for printing out one copy? I am upset about the increase in cost and that there is no information as to a set amount? BUYER BEWARE I WILL NEVER USE THAT SERVICE AGAIN. WHAT A RIP-OFF. Absolutely horrible Customer Service. Do not go here if you want your packages delivered on time. I went in on Monday and was told that my package would be delivered that Friday at the end of the transaction. I did not even realize that I wasn't given a receipt with a tracking number. On Tuesday I called and spoke with Jessica Who didn't seem like she wanted to help me from the start. I told her that I dropped off a package last week for delivery and asked if she could pull up the receipt with a tracking number for me. Automatically she told me that since it had been a week it was already too late. I had to ask her to look it up under my account. At that point she only decided to ask me if I paid to have it shipped. I told her I did, and I was not given a receipt. I explained to her that I paid to have it delivered by Friday and asked if there was a reason for the delay and she rudely said no that's what you paid for. I informed her that if I knew it would be delivered a week later I wouldn't have paid to have it delivered the same week. At which point she hung up on me. Make sure you leave the store with a receipt, and know what you paid for. read more

This will be the fourth time I went to this location for shipping needs and unfortunately the customer service is horrendous. It seems like the young lady upfront would rather be somewhere else that actually working at her job. She's extremely rude and negative towards customers. In fact, there were three customers that expressed the same thing as me while in the store because of her severe rudeness. I went in for a Notary and Sharol was so rude and simply unwilling to be helpful and empathetic to an older gentleman obviously suffering from severe diabetes. She notarized a document for me in between forcing the older gentleman out and unaccommodating for his distress. He was suffering and simply trying to send out what looked like care package to family. She kicked him out and proceeded to aggressively help us with the notary. Once she completed the task, i asked for documents to be e-scanned to me. She went ahead and did that and * BE AWARE* this store charged me $137.00. Fed Ex down the street would have done this for $34. I will NEVER go back to this location I left feeling heartbroken on how a customer was treated and ripped off after what she charged to scan something that took less than 3 minutes in black and white. I have been using UPS locations for years and this is the first time I was awaken to terrible service and business management. read more

Seeing other reviews, she has been getting complaints for awhile and yet she's still at the workplace with the same attitude. Do better as an owner. We deal with so much negativity throughout the day that as a single working mother of two, when I come in to do a simple return, a greeting with a nice smile would be appreciated. Instead of having her always so grumpy non friendly and acts like she doesn't wanna be there and has better things to do. My favorite UPS store in the area. Fast and friendly service. The manager Danielle even takes the effort to remember customers names; she greets me and other regulars often. Not much to ask for, but they exceed my expectations as I've been to some bad UPS stores in the past. Just be wary of longer lines during peak hours so go early or go after lunch for quick service. I believe the last call for shipping/package pickup is 4:15 last time I checked, but it'd be better safe than sorry to check online or by calling them. read more

Had the worst experience at the Lake Mead and Rampart location in Sun City apparently they cannot take anything over 50 lbs something about the driver can't get to the back of the store was offered no alternate location or help back out to my car with heavy box. We made an appointment two weeks ahead of time to have a document signed on their website. We showed up a few minutes early and the woman said she wasn't going to start motorizing until 11am. We asked why we were able to make an appointment and she said "I don't have nothing to do with that." The UPS drivers in this area are very rude and inconsiderate!! They park where ever they want, including FIRE PARKING, the MIDDLE of the STREET, and my favorite...right in front of DRIVEWAYS! You may have to walk a little farther to do your job, but don't forget the law applies to you. read more
